We've traveled to several countries about 5 years ago and you know what I noticed every time? We pack our things neatly inside our luggage but when we open it at our hotel room, our clothes are wrinkly, toiletries shaken (sometimes some shampoo or toothpaste spilling) and a lot more that makes the inside of our luggage look like it a hurricane through it.
One more thing, since we pack our clothes neatly and use the straps to secure them, we would have to dig through our clothes everyday to find the clothes we're going to wear.
Honestly, the idea of packing cubes are new to me (I know it sounds weird right?) so I was quite excited when Dot&Dot sent me a set of their large packing cube, I was super excited to see it even though we weren't scheduled for a trip yet.
The Large Packing Cube from Dot&Dot is available in 10 colors (YES 10!) and I picked the light blue color. The large packing cubes arrived neatly packed in a see-through resealable plastic bag which is nice because I can easily store the packing cubes again if I'm not using them. The 4-piece packing cubes stacks flat and doesn't take much space when stored.
I opened the resealable plastic container and removed the packing cubes. Each large packing cube measures 17.5" x 12.75 x 3.25". The color, by the way, is so cute. Each packing cube has a see through mesh so I can easily see what I packed inside the individual packing cubes.
I love the design of the packing cubes because it looks simple and elegant. Each packing cube is also very light and the materials used are thin yet it looks durable and sewn nicely. I actually like the thin and light material since it'll not consume too much luggage weight. We usually buy "pasalubongs" (this means treats and trinkets for our family and friends at home) and memorabilia from a country/place we visit so the lighter our luggage, the better.
The large packing cube is very spacious and the 2 zippers can be opened to flip one side upwards making it easier for me to arrange the clothes/toiletries/underwear inside the packaging cube. The 4-piece packing cube is actually enough for us since we're 4 in the family.
I didn't get the chance to take a picture of the top part but there's a handle there which is very handy specially when we get it out of the bag.
I can't wait to try this the next time we go on a trip because I'm almost sure that I'll have an easier packing, sorting and finding things inside our luggage. :)

I own Dot&Dot packing cubes too. We always use them during our travels. Using the cubes make packing and unpacking very easy.
