“My Twins’ First Halloween” is the story of Paris, a 4-year old living in San Francisco, and her infant twin sisters during the colorful and festive Halloween season. It is the 8th book in the series by award winning and best selling author Paris Morris who is now 16 years old.
Paris Morris wrote her first book in the My Friend Paris series, I'm Having Twins, when she found no childrens books addressing the issues she was going through while her parents were expecting twins. Her second and third books, My Twins are Coming Home, My Twins' First Birthday, My Twins' First Halloween, My Twins first Christmas were borne of her experiences during the first year of her twin sisters' lives. Paris Goes to Lake Tahoe is the child author's fourth book and is the first of her travel books. Her younger sister Liberty has released Paris goes to San Francisco as the seventh book in the series along with Paris Goes to Los Angeles. Paris and her sisters live in Danville, California where Paris is a junior in High School. Paris' books are available for sale on Amazon.com.
My daughters are 3 and 6 years old and are book lovers like me. They love it when I read books to them and now that my 6 year old has started to learn how to read, she reads beginner books herself.
I won 2 books from Paris Morris way before I started doing reviews and my daughters love both books. Both my daughters love looking at the illustrations and both books are easy to understand too.
Recently, I was sent a new Paris Morris book: My Twins' First Halloween. When my daughters saw the book, they immediately knew that this is a Halloween story because of the trick or treat cover of the book. My 3 year old immediately scanned the pictures and made up a story of her own. LOL. What I like about Parris Morris': My Twins' First Halloween is that the story is short and is easily understood by my daughters. The illustrations are very pretty too so my daughters doesn't get bored of looking at them.
This is a great book for young kids because the stories are short but well written and easily understood by kids.
You can purchase the book, My Twins' First Halloween on Amazon.
