I dry my lettuce, spinach and other salad veggies by letting them sit on a colander for about 30 minutes after I wash them. I never did like watery vegetable salad caused by the water I used to wash the vegetables because the dressing gets watery and the croutons get soggy faster.
When I received the Salad Spinner by Key Largo Traders, I was super excited to try it and see if it'll dry my salad veggies quicker.
The Salad Spinner by Key Largo Traders arrived in a nice box. The picture of the Salad Spinner outside the box is very similar to the actual Salad Spinner inside. The color combination of the salad spinner is quite nice. It has a white color with a green lever.
The Salad Spinner by Key Largo Traders has a 4 1/2 quart capacity. The clear plastic bowl can double as a salad container/bowl.
The green lever is very easy to push down and I only need 1 hand to do that. I can also lock the lever by pressing it down until it clicks for easier storage. There's also a STOP button so that I can quickly stop the spinning Salad Spinner.
What I liked about the Salad Spinner is how easy it is to use. I can cut down my veggie salad preparation time and save time because I can quickly dry and prepare our veggie salad in less than 5 minutes instead of the 30 minutes of draining the excess water from the veggies.
The large size of the Salad Spinner by Key largo Traders makes it easier for me to prepare the veggie salad for my whole family because I don't have to dry the veggies in batches.
This is such a nice kitchen tool and it only took 1 spin for the Salad Spinner for me to love and appreciate it. Very easy to use and clean so it's very kitchen-friendly for me. :)
