Delicious Pre-Measured Popcorn Packs From Franklin's Gourmet Popcorn Review

I've loved butter popcorn ever since I was young. The more buttery, the more I like it. I remember, and still do!, look forward to eating butter popcorn every time we go to the movie house because the popcorn there taste better than the microwaveable butter popcorn. The microwaveable butter popcorn has that "bleh" thick buttery feeling (I am sensitive to popcorn taste) which I can't really get used to. So, going to the movies is an excuse for me to eat buttered popcorn. So when Franklin's Gourmet Popcorn sent me their pre-measured packs of popping corn, I was super excited to try it.

They have 5 different packs available starting from a 2 oz. pack to a 12 oz. pack. I chose their 24-pack 6 oz. poppers and I was so happy when I received the heavy box of popping corns. Each 6-oz. pack has a pre-measured 100% pure coconut oil, seasoning and certified organic non-GMO popping corns gorwn in Iowa and packaged in the USA. There are directions at the back and it can be popped using a kettle popper or a stove pot.

My 3 year old daughter saw the big box of popcorn from Franklin's Gourmet Popcorn and asked if I can cook it. My 2 daughters love popcorn too so I immediately got our pot out to pop some popcorn. :)

I love the pre-measured packaging because I just combined all 3 ingredients into our pan and waited for the popping corns to start popping. I set the pot on our stove and turned the burner on to medium heat. The scent of butter filled the air before the popping noise started and my daughters were so excited when they smelled the scent of butter popcorn. When the popping started, I shook the pot continuously (of course covered with a lid) until all the popping stopped. After about 10 minutes from the time I put the pot on the burner until the popping stopped (yes it does take a bit longer to pop these on the stove compared to the microwaveable popcorn), the popcorn was done. I placed it in a bowl so we could dig in and enjoy the popcorn.

The popcorn tasted delicious and fresh! It was buttery and has the right amount of saltiness that we finished the whole bowl in minutes. LOL. My daughters couldn't help digging in and so did I. There were no "bleh" or thick buttery feeling like the ones in a microwaveable butter popcorn pouch and this tasted like the fresh popcorn in the movie house.

Now, I can make movie house-like tasting popcorn in the comfort of my own home. :)
