Does your child love experimenting? My daughters do! They're just 3 and 6 years old but they're both very interested in experiments.
I received the Groovy Lab in a Box - Here Comes the Sun Box to try in exchange for an honest review and my daughters couldn't wait to try it.
The Groovy Lab in a Box is a monthly STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) subscription box meant for young STEMists (children age 8 and up) which offers different boxes with different themes every month. The Groovy Lab in a Box has all the materials needed for each experiment so you don't have to worry about missing materials.
The Here Comes the Sun Box contained all the materials needed for each of the three experiments as well as a Lab Notebook which has all the instructions as well as follow-up questions for each experiment.
I read the instructions and did most of the experiments while my daughters watched and asked questions. I didn't quite do well with the solar balloon because it was quite hard to keep the air from flowing out.
My daughters' favorite experiment was the 3rd one which is the conductivity sensor. They were delighted when we made the bell ring and they had fun dipping the wires into the bowl with water to make it ring. Watch my videos below to check it out.
I love how educational the Groovy Lab in a Box is. Although it's meant for older children, my daughters had fun with helping me do the experiments. The instructions are very easy to follow but adult supervision is always recommended. I had a hard time with the scotch tape included so I used a wider tape I had at home.
You can visit the Groovy Lab in a Box WEBSITE to see their monthly subscription plans.
