I like how I can also use this as regular wired headphones by using the line-in cable included in the box because I can listen to music on my smartphone or iPad.
What I love about this is when I watch a movie at night. There are nights when I can't sleep so, I watch a movie. Because hubby is sleeping, I have to set the volume of the TV to a minimum as not to disturb him. With these headphones, I can watch a movie without disturbing hubby and our neighbors. I can just plug this in and I can hear the words and dialogues from the movie clearly.
When I want to watch a movie with my whole family, I have to unplug the transmitter from our TV because even when I turn it off, no sound will come out of our TV directly.
