System Sharpener Knife Sharpener Review + Giveaway 4/3 US

I have several knives at home and the problem is, they get dull overtime. The only solution I had before was to buy knew knives because dull knives are a bit dangerous to use. Why? They're prone to slipping because they're not that sharp anymore so there's a bigger chance of me getting cut from a knife when I slice meat and certain fruits and vegetables like apples, chayote, etc.

Now, I found the perfect solution to prolong the life of my knives. How? Aside from proper care, a knife sharpener helps to sharpen dull knives.

I received the System Sharpener and although I already have a knife sharpener, I looked forward to trying this out because it has an extra feature: the large suction pad at the bottom.

The System Sharpener arrived in a plastic packaging. The System Sharpener has a green color and has 2 slits for sharpening knives. The slit with a label 1 is for coarse sharpening while the slit with a label 2 is for fine honing.

The Coarse Sharpening is used for blunt knives while the Fine Honing is used to eliminate burrs on the knife and polish it.

Both coarse sharpening and fine honing is done similarly. I made a quick video which you can find below to show you how to use the System Sharpener.
The System Sharpener effectively sharpened our dull knives. It can also be used on ceramic blades but since our ceramic knife is still new, I haven't tried to sharpen it on this knife sharpener yet. This isn't suitable for serrated blades/knives and scissors.

The large suction cup at the bottom of the knife sharpener helps keep the knife sharpener in place. I think this is nice because I wouldn't worry about the knife sharpening slipping from our kitchen counter. It makes it much safer to use the knife sharpener.

Cleaning the knife sharpener is also easy since I only have to wipe the inside of the slit with a damp cloth.

I like how easy it is to use the System Sharpener Knife Sharpener and how it can prolong the life of our knives.
