I have wavy hair which tends to get frizzy when I let it air dry on its own. Aside from that, it tends to look fluffy and coarse throughout the day. That's why, when I let my hair air dry on its own, I'll just put it up in a bun or ponytail once it completely dries up.

The Framesi Color Lover Primer arrived in a white, plastic spray bottle. It has a nice, fresh scent which is subtle and not too overpowering. It sprays on clear and neither feels greasy nor heavy on my hair.

I apply this on my hair when I let it air dry and it's halfway dry. It makes my hair less frizzy and helps my hair look silky and shiny. I like how this doesn't weigh my hair down and at the same time, reduce tangles and static. It helps my hair retain its color and shine and this can also be used to protect my hair from heat.

It's very easy to use since I just spray it all over my hair (about 10 pumps distributed all over my hair) and leave it to air dry. It enhances my natural waves and helps prevent fluffiness. MY REVIEW:

The Book of Exodus is the second book in the Old Testament of the Bible. When I was still in elementary and high school, we have a C.L.E. subject and Exodus was one of the books on the Bible which I really liked. It tells of the story of the Israelites leaving Egypt to be free of slavery. With the guidance of God, they were led by Moses, their prophet, to the promised land, Canaan.

When I received the Patterns of Evidence Exodus, I was quite intrigued by it. I love how this documentary made the Book of Exodus more clear to me. This DVD is enlightening and I like how I was able to grasp the Exodus in a more explainable way to other people. I also like how this documentary tackled and explained the Exodus in a more scientific explanation. It's a very nice documentary which made my faith grow deeper and my understanding of the Book of Exodus wider.

MY REVIEW:

I enjoy listening to Christian pop and rock music because aside from these songs having family friendly lyrics, the melody are often catchy and nice as well. When I received the Living Hope CD, I was quite excited to listen to it.

The Living Hope CD has 12 tracks included by famous Christian artists. I actually know who Colton Dixon is because I watched and rooted for him when he was a contestant on American Idol. I listened to his song first and loved it. I also like the song, Hold on to Hope. Listening to this album makes me feel calm and relaxed. I also like how the songs in this album is centered on hope and that I can't help but sing along when I play this CD.

I haven't eaten at Pizza Ranch yet since they don't have any stores in California so I hope they open one in SoCal as well. :) I like their mission and their food looks delicious!

It has a clear, thicker than water but thinner than gel-like consistency which is neither greasy nor heavy on the skin. It absorbs pretty quickly and doesn't feel sticky when applied on the skin.

It is fragrance free but I can smell a super subtle aloe vera-like scent which can be because this is a plant-based product.

The La Deessa 2.5% Retinol glides on smoothly and I like that it's gentle. It didn't cause any irritation or redness on my skin and didn't cause any peeling as well. I use this daily at night, together with the La Deessa Vitamin C Serum and the La Deessa Eye Serum and I love that they work well together.

After using this for about 2 weeks, I noticed a difference on my skin's tone, which became more even than before. I also like that this didn't cause my any breakouts. This serum also helped brighten my complexion which is a bit dull this couple of weeks. Maybe it's because of the warm temperature but I'm glad this helped with that.

It's easy to use and less than 1 pump is all I need per application. A little goes a long way so this bottle will last me more than a month.

I love using a portable blue tooth speaker because aside from the convenience of bringing it anywhere in our home while it's connected to my device, I can also bring it on the go when we're pier fishing. The DigiYes Speaker measures 3.15 inches x 7.87 inches x 1.65 inches and has a nice, silver, metallic color. At the back, there is an on/off switch, a standard 3.5mm stereo aux-in jack and a micro-USB port to charge the speaker. The Li-polymer Battery rechargeable battery is capable of up to 1000mAh charge which can go up to 6 to 8 hours of playback time.

The charging USB cable is already included in this pack as well as a 3.5 mm jack cable so that I can also play music from devices which doesn't have blue tooth capabilities.

The cradle stand is thin yet it can effectively support my phone, a Huawei Ascend Mate 2, horizontally with the rubber case on.

And it can also support it vertically.

Pairing is very easy and no codes were required when I paired this to my phone and iPad mini. There is no volume control on the speaker so volume is dependent on the volume of my phone.

Since the DigiYes has 2 x 3 watts speaker on both sides, sound is crystal clear and sound equal. I love how this speaker delivers crystal clear, high quality sound which isn't distorted.

Aside from that, I like that the DigiYes speaker has a 10 meter wireless distance capability so while I'm charging my phone inside our room, I can bring the speaker out when I'm listening to music. It's light, compact and portable which is why it's perfect to bring on the go as well.

This is a nice, quality bluetooth speaker which is definitely one of my favorites as of now.

ElimiScar Facial Care Kit Review + #Giveaway 7/20 US/CAN

Have you ever tried a dermaroller before? Well, honestly, when I first heard about them, I got a bit scared and nervous to try them. I am not afraid of needles since I am used to drawing blood from patients, and thus I'm not afraid if somebody takes my blood, BUT the thought of a hundred needles in one roller made me quite nervous. Well it's not actually as big as the needles used for drawing blood but smaller, micro needles, but nonetheless, the thought of a hundred needles going through my skin is enough to make me a bit scared.

I got the courage to try one a few months back because I was asked to try it for free and, I was glad I tried it because it didn't hurt. Recently, I was given the chance to try the ElimiScar Facial Care Kit and I looked forward to trying it.

Before we head on over to my review, here is a quick product description from the company:

The ElimiScar dermaroller arrived in a box with all the information on how to use it. I received the dermaroller with a 0.5 mm needle size. Yes, it looks scary in the photo BUT, read on to learn what I thought about it. :)

The ElimiScar derma roller has 8 microneedle discs with 24 0.5 mm microneedles per disc. The total number of microneedles in the ElimiScar Dermaroller is 192 which seems a lot but works really well. It has a gold-colored, plastic easy-grip sculptured handle which makes it easy to hold and control. The microneedles are made of 100% surgical stainless steel and is gamma sterilized.

This came in a pre-sterilized packaging and is ready-to-use straight out of the pouch. Every time I use it, that's before and after, I like to sterilize it by dropping it in boiling water for about 5 minutes, just to make sure that it's sterilized and clean.

The ElimiScar Vitamin C Serum with Hyaluronic Acid came in a dark blue bottle with a built-in pump to dispense the serum. It has a clear, gel-like consistency and is unscented.

I use the ElimiScar Derma Roller once every 4 days. I use it at night after cleansing my skin with my facial wash. To use it, I roll the ElimiScar derma roller in a small spot, in 4 different directions (vertical, horizontal, left diagonal, right diagonal). I only apply a slight pressure, don't press it too hard!, and this shouldn't feel painful at all. The feeling is similar to a slight prickly and a bit itchy feeling but not painful.

I avoid using this over my acne and pimple as well cystic acne because it might aggravate the condition. My skin sometimes turn a bit red due to the derma roller but returns to its normal color after a few minutes. You can watch the video I made below for a video review and how to use this kit.

 

The ElimiScar derma roller makes super tiny, microscopic holes on the surface of my skin to help my skin absorb the serums and beauty products better. I like how easy it is to use and that it's not painful to use. The derma roller is light and easy to control so that I don't over-exert pressure while using this.

The Vitamin C Serum with Hyaluronic Acid is effective in brightening my complexion as well as keeping my skin fresh. I've always loved Vitamin C Serum and the ElimiScar Vitamin C Serum is as effective as the Vitamin C Serum I'm using right now.

The ElimiScar Facial Care Kit Set I received is high quality and effective. For those who are scared of needles, with proper use, the derma roller doesn't hurt and is worth a try. :)

SecurityIng 4200 Lumens Waterproof LED Flashlight Review + #Giveaway 7/20 US

I always have a flashlight in our home and in our car for emergency purposes. A bright flashlight is very helpful specially when there is a power outage or as I've said, if there is an emergency (*crossing my fingers that this wouldn't happen). I was given the chance to try the SecurityIng 4200 Lumens Waterproof LED Flashlight and I was super excited to try it. Stay tuned below for a giveaway as well! :)

The SecurityIng 4200 Lumens Waterproof LED Flashlight arrived in a box. This is available in 2 colors and I chose the gold one.

The SecurityIng 4200 Lumens LED Flashlight arrived exactly like this. It has the flashlight inside and a brown string which can be used as a wrist strap. It didn't come with any instructions or safety instruction manual but I figured out how to install the batteries since we have several flashlights at home already.

The SecurityIng 4200 Lumens Waterproof LED Flashlight works on 4 x 18650 3.7V rechargeable batteries which is not included in the box. I had to buy this separately before I got to try the SecurityIng 4200 Lumens Flashlight. The batteries can be installed by twisting the cover (part where the bulbs are).

The SecurityIng 4200 Lumens Waterproof LED Flashlight has a single button which is used to turn the flashlight on as well change through the light modes. There are 3 modes: high, low and strobe. To change through the light modes, I have to press the button for about 3 seconds.

The SecurityIng 4200 Lumens Waterproof LED Flashlight has 7 Cree XM-L T6LED lights. I love how bright this flashlight can be and can illuminate a room with the high setting. Of course it's not as bright as a light bulb but with this, even with no other lights on, I can see throughout the room with no problems.

I like how durable this flashlight looks because of the aluminum alloy case. The glass lens on the flashlight head is super clear so there are no interference with the brightness of the LED lights. The body of this flashlight is a bit thicker but I can still hold it in my hand with no problems. It is also a bit heavier, specially with the batteries in, but I'd prefer this because it's super bright.

With prolonged use, the flashlight gets a bit hot with the high setting maybe because the flashlight's entire exterior is made out of metal. Other than that, this is a very nice, useful and bright flashlight which I would recommend to others. This is also perfect to use for outdoor activities like camping and hiking because it's super bright.

Fixxe Volume Mousse By Thermafuse From Beauty Care Choices Review + #Giveaway 7/13 US

I style my hair using a hair dryer daily and at times using a flat iron because when left alone to air dry, my hair looks puffy. The Fixxe Volume Mousse has a runny, bubbly texture and it smells really nice. The scent reminded me of sweet berries and I really liked it.

I applied 2 pumps of the Fixxe Volume Mousse by Thermafuse on my palms and worked it through my damp hair. I then styled my hair as usual and I was impressed at how this gave volume and body to my hair and at the same time tamed my fluffy hair. I also like how this helped my hair stay soft and tangle free the whole day.

My hair looked healthy and the Fixxe Volume Mousse gave my hair an extra shine which is really nice. I also like how my hair smelled subtly sweet with a hint of berries. I didn't experience any product build-up on my hair or my scalp. I love how this protected my hair from being damaged from heat styling and helped create volume but at the same time looked tamed.

Carpet Spot And Stain Remover By VeryDirtyCarpets Review + #Giveaway 7/13 US

Recently, my 4 year old daughter dropped her container of maple syrup on our carpet. Oh yes, maple syrup. I removed it with wet wipes thinking it was clean already but after a few days, the stickiness was still there as well as some dark marks.

I recently received the Carpet Spot and Stain Remover by VeryDirtyCarpets and tried it immediately on the sticky and dirty spots.

The Carpet Spot and Stain Remover by VeryDirtyCarpets arrived in a white, 32 oz. plastic spray bottle. The directions on how to use it was printed at the back label as well as the contents included in this remover. The directions were easy to follow. The contents are also very minimal: Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, Borax, non-ionic surfactants and EDTA.

The first step is to blot the stain to remove any solid or soil residue. Since I've already blotted this syrup sticky spots a few days back, I moved on to the next step.

Next is to apply a moderate amount to the spotted/stained area. The nozzle of the Spot and Stain remover has a lock feature in which I have to turn the nozzle first so that the spray would work. I like this feature since it's much kid-friendly.

I might've overdone it a bit. :) Prior to using the Carpet Spot and Stain Remover on the stain, I tested it first in a small inconspicuous area on our carpet to assure that it wouldn't discolor our carpet.

I skipped the next step which is to agitate the carpet with a brush. No scrubbing! Just agitate the brush over the spots. :) I proceeded to blot the sticky spot with a white napkin to see how it worked.

I was amazed at how dirty the napkin became after blotting it dry.

The last step is to allow the spot to dry and then to use a vacuum cleaner to remove the solid residue. Again, I skipped this part since our carpet looked really clean and the sticky spot and dark spots were gone! I did this in less than 5 minutes and it has been a few days now and the spot is still clean.

The Carpet Spot and Stain Remover by VeryDirtyCarpets is very easy to use and is effective. There are no harsh chemical scents emitted from the cleaner and I love how it made our carpet clean. It prevented the cleaned spot from accumulating dirt again so the once dirty and sticky spot remained clean even after a few days of cleaning it.
