Hudson Cast Iron Stainless Steel Chainmail Scrubber Review

Hudson_Cast_Iron_Stainless_Steel_Cleaner.jpg
I used to buy the stainless steel pot scrubber sponge in the past for our pots and pans and I noticed that it crumbles easily and leaves shiny little specks of shiny things in our sink and pots. When I received the Hudson Cast Iron Stainless Steel Chainmail Cleaner, I can't help but notice how well made this is. My initial thought was that this is the last pot scrubber I'll need because it looks so durable.

Here is a quick product description from the company:
  • Hudson XL chainmail scrubber is the ideal way to effectively and easily clean your cast iron cookware without stripping away accumulated flavor and seasoning
  •  Handcrafted rings made from the highest grade 316L stainless steel- the highest food grade steel in the industry
  • Effortlessly cleans cast iron, stainless steel, glassware, pyrex, and other cookware
  • Ultra hygienic and dishwasher safe
  • Perfect for cast iron restoration

Hudson_Cast_Iron_Stainless_Steel_Cleaner.jpg
The Hudson Cast Iron Steel Chainmail Scrubber has super smooth exterior which is nice because it doesn't scratch our stainless steel pots and pans or my hands. It might have a smooth exterior and feel but it's effective in cleaning and removing particles stuck on our pots and pans. For heavily soiled pans, I just soak it first in soap and warm water for about an hour and then proceed to scrub it gently using the Hudson Cast Iron Scrubber.

I also love how this didn't start to disintegrate when I used it. I don't need to use as much force as when I used my previous pot scrubber. It's durable and easy to maintain as well. As of now, I don't see any signs of rust forming in it and I like how effective it is.

You can purchase the Hudson Cast Iron Stainless Steel Chainmail Scrubber HERE.

6 Pack Glass And Hard Surface Cleaner By Greenwald's Review

Greenwald's_Glass_And_Hard_Surface_Cleaner.jpg
I often use a glass cleaner to clean our mirrors, windows and glass doors because they often get dirty with smudges and hand prints from my daughters' hands. When I received the Glass and Hard Surface Cleaner by Greenwald's, I looked forward to trying it.
Greenwald's_Glass_And_Hard_Surface_Cleaner.jpg
The Glass and Hard Surface Cleaner by Greenwald's arrived in a pack of 6 concentrated soluble packets. It is available in a kit which includes the soluble packs and a plastic spray bottle as well as just the soluble packets by itself.
Greenwald's_Glass_And_Hard_Surface_Cleaner.jpg
I was sent the pack of 6 soluble packets of the Greenwald's Glass and Hard Surface Cleaner. I have a spare 32. oz. reusable spray bottle at home so I was able to try this out when I received these soluble packs. The instructions were printed on the back label of the packs. It is clear and easy to follow. :)
Greenwald's_Glass_And_Hard_Surface_Cleaner.jpg
1. Drop one packet into a 32 ounce spray bottle. Do not cut the packet, it completely dissolves.
2. Fill with warm water.
3. Let sit for 60 seconds.
4. Gently shake.
5. It's cleaning attack time.
Greenwald's_Glass_And_Hard_Surface_Cleaner.jpg
The Greenwald's Glass and Hard Surface Cleaner has a very subtle, light chlorine-like scent which is nice because I don't like cleaners with a harsh scent. After following the instructions on how to prepare the Greenwald's Glass and Hard Surface Cleaner, I tested it out on our sliding door, mirrors and windows.

The Greenwald's Glass and Hard Surface Cleaner is effective in removing smudges and hand prints on our sliding door, mirrors and windows.
Greenwald's_Glass_And_Hard_Surface_Cleaner.jpg
I like that I didn't see any streaking when I used the Greenwald's Glass and Hard Surface Cleaner.

One of the things I love about the Greenwald's Glass and Hard Surface Cleaner is that because they come in a small concentrated soluble pack, I can easily store them. They don't take up too much space which is important because we only live in an apartment and space is limited. Unlike prepared cleaners in a bottle which would take too much space, I can store the Greenwald's Glass and Hard Surface Cleaner in a safe drawer.

I also like how easy it is to prepare the Greenwald's Cleaner because it easily and quickly the soluble pack dissolves. There are no harsh chemical scents which can be harmful to my family and is an effective glass cleaner which doesn't leave any streaks.

You can visit them on Youtube, Facebook or on their Website. You can also purchase this HERE.

Carpet Spot And Stain Remover By VeryDirtyCarpets Review + #Giveaway 7/13 US

VeryDirtyCarpets_Carpet_Stain_Remover.jpg
Recently, my 4 year old daughter dropped her container of maple syrup on our carpet. Oh yes, maple syrup. I removed it with wet wipes thinking it was clean already but after a few days, the stickiness was still there as well as some dark marks.
VeryDirtyCarpets_Carpet_Stain_Remover.jpg
I recently received the Carpet Spot and Stain Remover by VeryDirtyCarpets and tried it immediately on the sticky and dirty spots.

The Carpet Spot and Stain Remover by VeryDirtyCarpets arrived in a white, 32 oz. plastic spray bottle. The directions on how to use it was printed at the back label as well as the contents included in this remover. The directions were easy to follow. The contents are also very minimal: Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, Borax, non-ionic surfactants and EDTA.
VeryDirtyCarpets_Carpet_Stain_Remover.jpg
The first step is to blot the stain to remove any solid or soil residue. Since I've already blotted this syrup sticky spots a few days back, I moved on to the next step.
VeryDirtyCarpets_Carpet_Stain_Remover.jpg
Next is to apply a moderate amount to the spotted/stained area. The nozzle of the Spot and Stain remover has a lock feature in which I have to turn the nozzle first so that the spray would work. I like this feature since it's much kid-friendly.
VeryDirtyCarpets_Carpet_Stain_Remover.jpg
I might've overdone it a bit. :) Prior to using the Carpet Spot and Stain Remover on the stain, I tested it first in a small inconspicuous area on our carpet to assure that it wouldn't discolor our carpet.
VeryDirtyCarpets_Carpet_Stain_Remover.jpg
I skipped the next step which is to agitate the carpet with a brush. No scrubbing! Just agitate the brush over the spots. :) I proceeded to blot the sticky spot with a white napkin to see how it worked.
VeryDirtyCarpets_Carpet_Stain_Remover.jpg
I was amazed at how dirty the napkin became after blotting it dry.
VeryDirtyCarpets_Carpet_Stain_Remover.jpg
The last step is to allow the spot to dry and then to use a vacuum cleaner to remove the solid residue. Again, I skipped this part since our carpet looked really clean and the sticky spot and dark spots were gone! I did this in less than 5 minutes and it has been a few days now and the spot is still clean.

The Carpet Spot and Stain Remover by VeryDirtyCarpets is very easy to use and is effective. There are no harsh chemical scents emitted from the cleaner and I love how it made our carpet clean. It prevented the cleaned spot from accumulating dirt again so the once dirty and sticky spot remained clean even after a few days of cleaning it.

You can purchase the Carpet Spot and Stain Remover by VeryDirtyCarpets HERE.

Furniture Afterlife Professional Wood Polish And Conditioner Review

Furniture_Afterlife_Wood_Polish.jpg
How do you take care of your wood furniture? Honestly, the only thing I do is to wipe our wood furniture with a clean damp cloth and didn't do anything else. Over time, I just noticed that some of our furniture has decreased in luster and shine. When I received the Furniture Afterlife, I looked forward to try it on our wood furniture.

The Furniture Afterlife came in a 16 oz. bottle and it has a small hole so that I can easily control the amount of wood polish I need per application. The Furniture Afterlife has a nice citrus/lemon scent which smells really nice. It doesn't have any chemical scent so I like that.

The first furniture I polished was our dining table. With just a small amount of the Furniture Afterlife, I was able to polish and bring the luster of our dining table back. I love how easy it is to use this and although it didn't bring our table back to looking brand new, it definitely appeared cleaner, shinier and enhanced the luster.

I also used this on our other wood furniture and I love how it doesn't leave any greasy feel on our furniture. I also noticed that dust build-up isn't as quick as before I used this on our wood furniture.

This is a nice furniture polish and conditioner which smells nice as well. It's effective and effective in bringing back the luster and shine of our wood furniture.

You can purchase the Furniture Afterlife Professional Wood Polish and Conditioner HERE.

Greenwald's Carpet And Fabric Stain Remover Kit Review

Greenwald's_Carpet_And_Fabric_Stain_Remover.jpg
Having 2 girls who are 4 and 6, our carpet often have stains because of spilled drinks and other stuff. Aside from that, their clothes are often stained with food, chocolate, and other stains which I'm amazed as to where they get it. LOL. When I received the Greenwald's Carpet & Fabric Stain Remover, I was excited to try it on my daughters' clothes as well as see if it would work on our carpet as well.
Greenwald's_Carpet_And_Fabric_Stain_Remover.jpg
The Greenwald's Carpet & Fabric Stain Remover came in a brown box.
Greenwald's_Carpet_And_Fabric_Stain_Remover.jpg
Inside, there was an empty plastic spray bottle and a pack of 6 soluble packs.
Greenwald's_Carpet_And_Fabric_Stain_Remover.jpg
I like that this kit came in 6 soluble packs because I can just make 6 x 32 oz. solutions. I don't need to buy bottles of stain remover and I can just store the small refillable packs in a safe drawer. It's not bulky to store and I only need to dissolve a packet when I use up the whole bottle already. What's also nice is that I can use the same plastic bottle over and over again so I don't have to buy a new bottle anymore.
Greenwald's_Carpet_And_Fabric_Stain_Remover.jpg
The soluble packs has a yellow color and a bit similar to the scent of chlorine. It's much milder though so I like it.
Greenwald's_Carpet_And_Fabric_Stain_Remover.jpg
There is an easy to follow direction with images at the back of the label of the bottle.
Greenwald's_Carpet_And_Fabric_Stain_Remover.jpg
I like that 1 pack of the Greenwald's Carpet and Stain Remover is all I need to make a 32 ounce solution.
Greenwald's_Carpet_And_Fabric_Stain_Remover.jpg
I just drop it in the bottle.
Greenwald's_Carpet_And_Fabric_Stain_Remover.jpg
I filled the bottle up to the top and then let it stood for 1 minute.
Greenwald's_Carpet_And_Fabric_Stain_Remover.jpg
Next, I covered the bottle up and shook the bottle to fully mix the solution.
Greenwald's_Carpet_And_Fabric_Stain_Remover.jpg
The Greenwald's Carpet and Fabric Stain Remover's scent became very subtle after I mixed the soluble packet with water. It retained the yellowish color which is fine since it doesn't cause any yellowish stain/color on fabric and on our carpet.

The nozzle has an on and off position which is nice so that my daughters wouldn't accidentally spray this. I tried this on my daughters' clothes which has been recently stained with chocolate and I noticed that it completely removed the chocolate stain.

Before using this on any fabric or on our carpet, I always test this first on a small, inconspicuous area to see if it wouldn't cause any discoloration. Same as other stain removing products, this might cause some discoloration on some types of fabric. Although I've successfully used this on our carpet and our clothes, it's always nice to be careful first. :)

You can purchase the Greenwald's Carpet and Fabric Stain Remover Kit HERE.

Reusable Lint, Pet Hair And Debris Remover By Furzie Review

Furzie_Lint_PetHair_And_Debris_Remover.jpg
I vacuum our carpet at least twice a week and even though I do that, I can still see strands of hair and other debris which couldn't be removed by our vacuum cleaner. We don't have a pet with fur, only 2 small turtles, but I still grabbed the opportunity to try the Lint, Pet Hair and Debris Remover by Furzie mainly because I wanted our carpet free of hair and other small debris.

Believe it or not, one time, I used a scotch tape (YES! Scotch Tape!) and you wouldn't believe how much strands of hair I got! Lots of hair and small debris stuck to the tape even after vacuuming our carpet.

Here is a short description of the Furzie Lint/ Pet Hair and Debris Remover from the company:

The Furzie works by removing unwanted hair or lint from your clothing, furniture and upholstery. The Furzie is truly a one of a kind Lint and Debris Remover that helps you benefit from the amazing results. No More Lint or Hair!

This tool is specially designed for a lifetime of use. The Ergonomical and light weight design makes the Furzie the perfect choice for Lint and Pet Hair Removal. Compare our product to any Sticky Roller or Lint Remover on

The Benefits of The Furzie® Lint And Debris Remover
* Innovative and Ergonomical Light Weight Design for Long Term Use.

* Use on Carpets, Clothes, Linens, and Upholstery.
* Designed by a Professional for Long Lasting Results.

Furzie_Lint_PetHair_And_Debris_Remover.jpg
When I received the Furzie Lint, Pet Hair and Debris Remover, the first thing I noticed was that this is bigger and looks more heavy duty compared to lint rollers I've had in the past.
Furzie_Lint_PetHair_And_Debris_Remover.jpg
The bristles are effective in catching strands of hair in our carpet. In just a few swipes, the bristles were able to catch LOTS of hair strands as well as small debris.
Furzie_Lint_PetHair_And_Debris_Remover.jpg
The handle is solid and for me, is easy to grip and hold.
Furzie_Lint_PetHair_And_Debris_Remover.jpg
The Furzie Lint, Pet Hair and Debris Remover is lightweight so my wrists and hands doesn't hurt even if I use this for longer periods of time. It's also very easy to clean and store. Just soaking it in warm water would soften and release debris and hair strands and then I just use a stick to get them off.

I love how the Furzie Lint, Pet Hair and Debris Remover is effective in getting and removing strands of hair which wasn't picked up by our vacuum cleaner.

According to the company, this is also safe to use on cotton, linen, silk, cashmere, woolen and flannel. These types of fabric easily catches lint so instead of using lint rollers, which are sometimes only a one-time use, the Furzie Lint, Pet Hair and Debris Remover is nice to use since this is reusable over and over again.

I like how easy it is to use the Furzie Lint, Pet Hair and Debris Remover. It is a bit expensive to buy but in the long run, this would save me money since it's reusable and durable.

You can purchase the Furzie Lint, Pet Hair and Debris Remover HERE.
