The corner and edge cushions were soft and at the same time, thick and sturdy enough to absorb impact.

A short time after I installed this, my daughter bumped her head on our kitchen counter top edge. She didn't hurt her head and I was glad that the Bow Tiger corner guard absorbed the impact effectively. Now, I'm more at ease that she wouldn't get hurt when she accidentally bumps her head on the edge of our kitchen counter top.
This is a very nice safety home product for those with toddlers and small children.
