Cocount Colon Cleanse By Island Vibrance Review

CoconutColonCleansebyIslandVibrance.jpg
It's been a while since I did a colon cleanse and the Coconut Colon Cleanse from Island Vibrance came in at the right time. I've tried other colon cleanses in the past and this is the first time I'm trying a coconut-type of colon cleanse.

When I was younger, my mom always told me (she learned it from her mom and her mom learned it from her mom, etc.) that whenever she eats coconut, FYI: coconut is abundant in the Philippines, she would always have to go to the bathroom. I, too, love coconut but it doesn't have that effect on me when I was younger. Maybe because I suffer from constipation, but I'm not sure why.

So when I received the Coconut Colon Cleanse from Island Vibrance, I was quite excited to see how it would fare since it comes in a more concentrated form.

Here is a quick product description for the Coconut Colon Cleanse:

Island Vibrance Coconut Colon Cleanse gently removes build up of harmful toxins and waste from your lower intestines while improving your body's absorption of vitamins and minerals. It kickstarts your body's metabolic rate by removing stress on the pancreas, thereby burning more calories. After your body enjoys this nourishing superfood experience, you will feel energized and rejuvenated to live your best life. This product was meticulously created in our FDA regulated and certified cGMP lab with only premium all natural quality ingredients.

The Coconut Colon Cleanse by Island Vibrance arrived in a white plastic bottle. The supplements were in a veggie capsule which I think is nice because I fine them easier to swallow. The contents inside has a tan/light brown color and has an herbal aroma.

The Coconut Colon Cleanse by Island Vibrance has the following propriety blend:

  • Coconut Oil Powder (Cocus nucifera)
  • Aloe Vera (resin from cut leaves)
  • Senna Leaves (Senna alexandrina)
  • Flax Seeds (Linum usitatissimum)
  • Psyllium Husks (Plantago ovata)
  • Cascara Sagrada Bark (Rhamnus purshiana)
  • Slippery Elm Bark (Ulmus rubra)
  • Black Walnut Hulls (Juglans nigra)
  • Ginger Root (Zingiber glabra)
  • Licorice Root (Glycyrrhiza glabra)
  • Prune Fruit (Prunus Domestica)
  • Apple Pectin
Other ingredients are vegetable capsule (HPMC, water), microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide and this also contains tree nuts.

I've been taking the Coconut Cleanse By Island Vibrance for a week now and my bowel movements have improved a lot. I take 2 capsules in the morning and 2 capsules in the evening. It took 2 days before I started excreting everything I ate and am eating (there's a lot in the toilet bowl!) and it kind of looks soft, mushy and sometimes a bit watery.

What I like about this colon cleanse is that it doesn't cause any stomach discomfort. I do feel like I have a mild diarrhea minus the stomach cramps. I also don't feel gassy and bloated. The capsules have an herbal taste when I take it but it doesn't cause any burpy aftertaste.

The only thing I'm confused about is how many days I'm supposed to take this supplement. Other types of colon cleanses I've taken before should only be taken 7 to 10 days maximum. The Coconut Colon Cleanse says in the directions to use it as directed and in front of the bottle, it states that this is a 30-day supply. So I'm thinking this should be taken for 30 days straight.

Other than that confusing direction, or lack of direction, this is a nice and gentle colon cleanse which is effective. I can say that it's gentle because it removes everything out without causing any stomach discomfort. I also like the fact that it's made of herbs and plants.

NOTE: If you have a medical condition, taking any medication or have any questions or allergies to anything, please ask your health care provider first before taking ANY supplement. :)
