BBQ Grill Mat Liner From Grill Whiz Review + Giveaway 4/13 US/CAN

We don't have our own grill at home because our apartment is strict about having our own grills at home (due to it being a fire hazard). In return, there are public grills outside for tenants to use if we wanted to grill something. We haven't used the grills yet because they're always dirty so we just use our oven to broil our meat and vegetables instead.

When I learned about the BBQ Grill Liner, I was excited to try it in one of the public grills here in our apartment complex.

The BBQ Grill Liner arrived in a hard, flat cardboard box. There were 2 liners in a pack so I think that's a great deal.

Each grill liner has a 15.75" x 13" size and a 0.2 mm thickness. Here is a quick product description from the company:

  • This amazing BBQ grill liner keeps all of the food and its natural juices on the grill, while keeping the great BBQ flavor. Have kids that won't eat their vegetables? They will love the grilled vegetables cooked on this BBQ grill liner.
  • BBQ Grill Liner is perfect for cooking all types of food, even small foods that won't fall through the cracks. Try making caramelized onions for your burgers. Try making pancakes, eggs, and bacon for breakfast. Try grilling steak, chicken, pork chops, and burgers. You will love the grill marks and juicy flavors.
  • Works on gas, charcoal, and electric grills. Use it on public grills with peace of mind knowing your food is cooked clean and safe.
  • Clean up is a snap. Just wash it off with a soapy sponge under hot water and it's ready to go, to be used again and again. No more drips at the bottom of the grill and no more dirty grill to scrub.
Before we used the BBQ Grill Mat, we washed it in soap and warm water first and then dried it with paper towel. After setting up the charcoal grill, we placed this liner on top and grilled our salmon and pork the usual way. What I loved about this liner is that it kept our food from touching the grill directly. It still gave that charcoal taste, with just lesser of the charbroiled lines without the liner.

The food and also slightly burnt food particles didn't stick to the liner and hubby easily wiped it away with clean paper towels. After using the liner, I just washed it with soap and rinsed it with warm water. It was so easy to clean because the leftover food particles didn't stick on the liner.

Storing these liners are easy to since I can just roll them up to save space. They're also reusable and great for lining our pans when I cook our baked pork chop in the oven. I haven't tried to broil food using this as a liner though.

We love the BBQ Grill Mat Liner from Grill Whiz and I love how we can now grill our food using the public grills outside.
