LAVO Giro Professional Cleansing System Review
The LAVO's Giro Professional Cleansing System arrived in a very nice box. There's a plastic window which shows what's inside the box.
With cleansing systems getting ever so popular we've decided to get in the game ourselves. It has been proven that using a cleansing brush can be 600% more effective than just cleansing with hands alone.
The tiny fibers on the brush head gently dig into the pores cleaning out dirt, dead skin, and bacteria. This helps prevent acne, grinds away blackheads, and gives you awesome exfoliated skin.
The cleansing system can be used for all skin types (dry, normal, sensitive, and oily) and can be used with any cleanser including our own bestselling Microdermabrasion Cream.
Here are some of the features of the Giro Professional Cleansing system:
-IPX 7 Waterproof design - can use in the shower or bathtub
-Spinning head rotates at 300 revolutions a minute
-Rubberized ergonomic handle for nonslip grip
-Includes 4 various attachments - 1 x super soft small brush (face), 1 x large brush (body), 1 x sponge attachment, 1 x pumice stone attachment (heels)
-Cordless design - uses 4 AA batteries
The Giro Professional Cleansing System used 4 x AA batteries which are not included in the pack. Good thing I have spare batteries at home because I was able to try this as soon as possible.
I like how the Giro Professional Cleansing system is waterproof because I can use it inside the shower, even with the shower turned on. I use the large brush for my body and I like how it can cover a bigger surface. It is a bit harder and rough compared to the smaller brush included but nonetheless, this didn't irritate my skin. I have a skin allergy wherein rough loofahs and hard scrubbing would make my skin to start itching and would illicit wheals and flares which last at the most 30 minutes. So, I like how the large brush of the Giro Professional Cleansing System is soft enough to not irritate my skin and yet effective enough to cleanse thoroughly.
The smaller brush is softer compared to the bigger brush and I love how it also cleanses my face more effectively. I use this a bit longer on the sides of my nose because that's where all my white heads are and there is a dramatic decrease in my white heads. I also like how smooth my face feels after using this instead of my hands.
The foam brush/sponge attachment is great to evenly spread my moisturizer and serum. It also feels really soft, smooth and relaxing.
The pumice is a personal favorite of mine because it really works to remove the dried, hard skin on the soles of my feet. I use this after I take a bath so that the dead skin on my feet is easier to come off.
All the brush heads are easily snapped on and off the Giro Professional Cleansing System. Once snapped on, they wouldn't come off unless I pull it out which is nice because I wouldn't want the brush head coming off when I'm using it.
For me, I clean the brush heads after I use it and before I use it again. I do this because my skin is prone to breakouts. One time, I was in a hurry and used the facial brush without washing it before using it (I washed it when I finished using it the previous day) and the next day, I had a mild breakout which I'm not sure was attributed to me skipping washing the brush prior to using it. So, I make sure to wash it with soap and water before and after I use it, just to be sure.
The LAVO Giro Professional Cleansing System for me, is a very nice and quality cleansing system. This is the first cleansing system I've used and I love how it effectively makes my skin feel cleaner and smoother. It works very well and I like that it's cordless because I wouldn't have to worry about cords tangling or getting wet. I also like the waterproof feature because I can use it in place of my loofah inside the shower.
