ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
With 19 New York Times bestsellers and more than 230 million copies of
his works in circulation, L. Ron Hubbard is among the most acclaimed and
widely read authors of our time. As a leading light of American Pulp
Fiction through the 1930s and '40s, he is further among the most
influential authors of the modern age. Indeed, from Ray Bradbury to
Stephen King, there is scarcely a master of imaginative tales who has
not paid tribute to L. Ron Hubbard.
MY REVIEW:
The Writers of the Future Volume 31 is different from the usual novels I read, which for me is refreshing. First of all, this is a compilation of short, fictional and fantasy stories. Each story is written in a short but interesting manner. The book has a variety of fantasy story, from humans to supernatural and evolved humans and extraterrestrial beings. I like how short each story is because I can read them quickly and finish it in 1 sitting.
Even though the stories are short, they are well written and has that element of suspense and thrill. I like how the authors did that and I also like the illustrations of the characters in each story. I can visualize the characters well but the illustrations are a confirmation of how I visualize them.
Over all, I like the Writers of the Future and I like how unique it is from the usual novels and books I read.
