Neutrogena Naturals VoxBox + Unboxing Video #WipeforWater #Influenster

My Neutrogena Naturals VoxBox contained a pack of the Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes. I was super excited to see if it works to clean and rid my face of make-up, dirt and oil.

The first time I used the Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Makeup Remover Wipes, the area around my eyes stung a bit. I've experienced this with other make-up wipes, so that didn't deter me from trying it out again.

The next time I used it, the area around my eyes didn't sting at all. The Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Makeup Remover Wipes is effective in removing makeup, dirt and oil. It even effectively removed the waterproof mascara on my lashes. I like how these wipes leave my skin feeling soft, clean and smelling nice.

For the challenge, it's not easy removing my habit of washing my face with water and a cleanser but I've made some change in my routine. I wash my face in the morning and before bedtime. #RockTheLunchBox VoxBox For Influenster

I'm a member of Influenster and I was so excited to be invited to the #RockTheLunchBox VoxBox. :) If you're not familiar with Innfluenster, it's a site where you can get product/s for free. They have a lot of different VoxBoxes and invitation for these VoxBoxes is based on your profile, demographics, etc. It's fun because I get to try the products for free as well as share my thoughts about the products I receive.

My daughters ate the Annie's Pizza Bagels in Uncured Pepperoni flavor at home. They were the perfect bite-sized pizza but the crust was a bit harder so my 3 year old daughter complained a bit about that. My 6 year old daughter on the other hand, loved it. :)

They also got an Honest Kids Super Fruit Punch Organic Juice Drink. I tasted it and was a bit impressed that the juice isn't too sweet at all. It tasted like flavored water and my daughters love it.

I packed the Applegate Half-Time lunch kit so that my 6 year old daughter can eat it at school. I've actually purchased this before and my daughter loved it. :)

The Annie's Cheddar Crackers is perfect for snacks and my 3 year old daughter specifically loved this. The crackers are shaped like different farm animals and I like how this tasted less salty than other cheddar crackers.

New Swiss Miss Simply Cocoa Milk Chocolate Flavor #SwissMissSimplyCocoa

When I was younger, my grandmother from my father's side let us taste the Swiss Miss with Marshmallows. From then on, Swiss Miss has been one of my favorite powdered chocolate drink.

As a member of Influenster, I was given the chance to get their Moda VoxBox and one of the products inside my Moda VoxBox was the new Swiss Miss Simply Cocoa.

The new Swiss Miss Simply Cocoa has 2 varieties available: Milk Chocolate and Dark Chocolate. I received the Milk Chocolate flavor.

I just heated up a cup of milk and poured in the Swiss Miss Simply Cocoa packet I received.

The aroma of hot cocoa filled the air as soon as I stirred it. With only 5 simple ingredients and no artificial flavors, no artificial colors, and no preservatives, I was excited to try it.

I took a sip and in no time, I finished the whole cup, with the help of my daughters of course. :)

F.A.S.T. - First Aid Shot Therapy Review

I received the First Aid Shot Therapy or F.A.S.T. from Influenster as part of my #SurfsUpVoxBox and I just knew when to use it. I get pretty bad dysmennorhea on that time of the month ever since I first had my period. It became more tolerable after having 2 babies but still, it gets uncomfortable at times. Instead of using Ibuprofen for my dysmennorhea, I tried the F.A.S.T.

The F.A.S.T. contains 500 mg. of Choline Salicylate (NSAID) and 65 mg. of caffeine per bottle. It's a bit different since it's in liquid form and the taste is kind of berry-like. I like that it's effective for my menstrual cramps and I like how portable the bottle is. I can just have 1 in my bag in case I need a pain reliever for my headache or muscle pain after working out.

Sinful Colors Professional Nail Polish Review

I recently received a #SurfsUpVoxBox from Influenster and one of the products inside my VoxBox was the Sinful Colors Professional Nail Polish in Song of Summer color. My 3 year old daughter, who LOVES nail polishes saw this instantly and wanted to try it on her nails too.

I usually stick with pink/nude shades when it comes to nail polishes and this is actually the first time I tried a green nail polish. My daughter on the other hand loved the light green shade.

In my opinion, the Sinful Colors in Song of Summer Shade has a fun and summer-y look to it. The brush applicator glides smoothly, therefore, even if I'm not a pro in applying nail polishes, I managed to apply the Sinful Colors Nail Polish easily on my nails. The light green shade may not be that appropriate for my age (or maybe I'm not just used to the shade), and I think teens would like this shade more. :)

J'Adore Voxbox Review from Influenster #JadoreVoxBox

As a member of Influenster, I receive Influenster VoxBoxes once in a while (this would be my 5th VoxBox :)) and each VoxBox is filled with nice products for me to try.

This time, I received A Hot Pink VoxBox called the J'adore Voxbox. I was excited to open and see what's inside. You can watch my youtube video and see me unbox my VoxBox. :)

Braun Forehead Thermometer Review #BraunTherms

If you have read any of my previous posts, you will have known by now that I am a mom of 2 girls ages 2 and 5. I don't like it when they misbehave or fight (most of the time they argue over little things) but I prefer them being active (and arguing with each other) than when they're sick.

When I was their age, I remember my mom using the glass thermometer with mercury inside under our armpits or under our tongue to take our temperature. I remember when I was younger, it felt like forever when my mom needs to check our temperature (okay it's only about 3 minutes but when you're young 3 minutes feels like forever). After taking our temperature, she wipes the thermometer with cotton and alcohol. When I was around 12 years old, I remember we had a Braun automated ear thermometer and it took our temperature faster than the glass thermometer. Now with newer technology, the forehead thermometer is becoming popular.

Before trying the Braun Forehead Thermometer, I used a Spongebob digital oral thermometer for my girls. They have to put it under their tongue for about 20 seconds for it to take a temperature reading accurately. My problem would be for my 2 year old daughter who can't do this for 20 seconds. I have to take her temperature 2 to 3 times to make sure that the reading is accurate and correct.

As a member of Influenster, I was one of the few members chosen to try the Braun Forehead Thermometer. I was very excited and giddy when I received my Influenster VoxBox for the Braun Forehead Thermometer and I couldn't wait to try it on my daughters (specially my 2 year old daughter).

I opened the box and saw that batteries were already included. :) There's also a hard plastic cover to cover the tip of the thermometer when not in use.

Here is a short video of me using the Braun Forehead Thermometer on my 2 year old daughter.

 

I was SO amazed that it took only 3 seconds to take my daughter's temperature (oh yeah that was sooo fast!). I just had to sweep it across the brow to the temple and then back and Voila! The Braun Forehead Thermometer took her temperature already. The screen light also changes when the temperature gets warmer. The green light indicates a normal temperature. When there is a slight fever, the light would indicate a yellow color and when there is a high temperature, the screen light would indicate a red color. This is perfect for middle-of-the-night readings.

Now I can take my 2 daughters' temperatures easily and with no fuss since the Braun Forehead Thermometer reads their temperature in just 3 seconds. :)
