Aveeno Advocates Review For #Crowdtap

I'm a Crowdtap member and I was chosen to be a part of the Aveeno Advocates. I received 2 small Aveeno products to try and I used them up in 1 day. I already am familiar with Aveeno and use the Daily Moisturizing Lotion occasionally so I already know how nice that product is. However, the Aveeno Protect + Hydrate is something new so I was a bit excited to try it.

First of all, the Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion is very effective on my skin but it is unscented. Honestly, I do prefer scented lotions but at times when my skin needs extra moisture, I use the Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion to relieve my dry skin. It's non-greasy, absorbs quickly and instantly gives my skin the extra moisture and hydration it needs.

The Aveeno Protect + Hydrate Lotion Sunscreen smells really nice. It has an SPF 30 and I like how this protects me from UV rays as well. It's non-greasy and absorbs quickly so I instantly liked this one too.

Sampling Neutrogena's Nourishing Long Wear Eye Shadow + Built-In Primer #Crowdtap

I like neutral shades when it comes to eye shadows because I like the barely-there/no make up look. So, I was quite excited when I was picked to sample the Neutrogena Nourishing Long Wear Eye Shadow + Built-in Primer. Crowdtap and Neutrogena sent me the Soft Taupe 20 to try and I immediately loved the palette. :)

At the back is a short instruction on how to use the palette.

Within 5 minutes, I created this natural, no make-up look which I really love.

Having an oily skin type, creasing on my eyelids is a common problem specially with the wrong eyeshadow. With the Neutrogena Nourishing Long Wear Eyeshadow, I was surprised that without applying a primer on my lids, the eyeshadow lasted the whole day. There were no creasing on my lids and the eyeshadow remained the same as when I applied it.

Blending the eyeshadow is very easy because the palette includes shades which complement each other. It goes on smoothly and blends easily. For my eyes, I only used the Neutrogena Nourishing Long Wear Eyeshadow + Built-in Primer and a coat of mascara. Nothing more, nothing less. :)

I've had a sweet tooth ever since I was young and although I can control myself most of the time now, there are times when I crave for something sweet. I never did outgrow my love for sweet, chocolatey things so I'm glad to have discovered Brookside.

Thanks to Crowdtap, I was able to receive a sample of the Brookside Dark Chocolate Crunchy Clusters in Berry Medley Flavors. There are 3 other flavors available and you can find them all here.

The Brookside Dark Chocolate Crunchy Clusters in Berry Medley Flavors is a surprise in each bite because each cluster contains different kinds of berries. I love each of the berry inside because it paired well with the smooth dark chocolate covering the fruit and the crispy multi-grain inside.

I love eating my Brookside Dark Chocolate Crunchy Clusters in Berry Medley Flavors while I'm doing product reviews in front of my PC. It satisfies my sweet cravings and I don't have to worry much about calories because 22 pieces (40 grams) is just 190 calories (80 calories from fat). I can't eat that much in 1 sitting! :)

This is such a delicious snack and my daughters, who are 3 and 6, loved it too! :)

Kleenex Brand Believers #Crowdtap #KleenexBrandBelievers

When I was younger, my grandmother always has a box of Kleenex in her. Back then, the variety of Kleenex was based on how many ply there are in each sheet. Today, I am excited to share with you 2 newer varieties of Kleenex I received from Crowdtap and Kleenex. The Kleenex Tissue with Lotion and the Kleenex Anti-Viral Tissue.

The Kleenex Tissue with Lotion, based on the title I think you can guess what's added to the tissue *wink*, has been added with lotion. It's very soft, is unscented and very absorbent. It keeps my daughters' noses clean and doesn't cause excessive dryness and chaffing around their noses.

The next one is the Kleenex Anti-Viral Tissue. This is a new product and I am quite excited to see how this works because it's a 3-ply facial tissue and the middle layer is moisture activated and kills 99.9% of cold flu and viruses within 15 minutes.

I took a picture of the middle layer of the Kleenex Anti-Virus and it has some blue spots/beads on the tissue.

The Kleenex Anti-Virus is unscented and has a super soft texture and despite the super soft texture, it is durable and effective in cleaning dirty noses. It doesn't cause excessive dryness or chaffing around the noses of my daughters even after prolonged use.

Because I don't see how the middle layer works or how it kills the viruses, I cannot say if it does kill the viruses but I trust Kleenex since my grandmother trusted it too. :)

Zep Cleansters: Liquid Heat Drain Opener Video Demonstration And Review #Crowdtap

Our bathroom sink has been clogged for a few months now. It's draining way too slow so I was excited when I was given the opportunity to try Zep's Liquid Heat Drain Opener and be part of Crowdtap's Zep Cleansters. :)

I received the Zep Liquid Heat Drain Opener in a sealed plastic bag. I haven't used any kind of drain opener before so this was my first time using it. After reading the directions, I got quite scared to try it since it requires me to use gloves and goggles. There was also a notice about the fumes I might smell. I was thinking it would be corrosive or that it would smell bad. I was really scared that it would burn my skin or make me gag because of the scent. I mustered up my courage and tried it myself.

I followed the directions properly. I flushed our bathroom sink with hot water first for a couple of minutes and then waited for the hot water to drain. I opened the Zep Liquid Heat Drain Opener and was super careful in pouring it into our bathroom sink. I was waiting for an awful smell but was surprised that it just smelled similar to chlorine. It didn't smell that bad but I made sure I didn't get any on my hands. My fear from the warnings on the bottle was overrated. :P

The Zep Liquid Heat Drain Opener drained pretty quickly. I then flushed it again with hot water. At first, I thought our bathroom drain worked like new again but after a few seconds, the water started to build up again. The drain works better before I used the Zep Liquid Heat Drain Opener but not to the point of declogging it for good. I am thankful that the water drains quicker but I hoped it would take care of the clog for good.

Would I use this again? Maybe since it helped our bathroom sink drain quicker. :) Will you get the same drain result? I'm not sure since other reviews from other people were nice. This is my experience and yours might differ from mine.

Trying Out The New Folgers Flavors For Crowdtap #FolgersFans #sponsored

I drink coffee everyday but I can't drink my coffee black. I always add in creamer and sugar or a flavored syrup to my coffee everyday.

When I got accepted to try the Folgers Flavors on Crowdtap, I was so excited to try it because I love trying out different kinds of syrups and flavoring for my coffee. As soon as I opened the box, the aroma of each Folgers Flavor coffee enhancers filled the air.

The Folgers Flavors in Hazelnut flavor has a sweet and subtle nutty taste.

The Folgers Flavors Caramel flavor is my personal favorite. I like the sweet and slight sugar-burnt taste of the Caramel flavor. :)

The Folgers Flavors Vanilla flavor is sweet and aromatic.

The Folgers Flavors Mocha flavor has a slight chocolate-y taste. I am not fond of mocha flavored coffee but this tasted nice.

I love how easy it is to use the Folgers Flavors. For an 8 oz. cup of coffee, I use 3 squeezes of the Folgers Flavors. I love that Folgers Flavors have a variety of coffee enhancer flavors to match my mood. It doesn't drip and I can control the amount of coffee enhancer I want to put in my coffee.

I can now be a barista in my own home and I like to mix and match the Folgers Flavor Coffee Enhancers once in a while to experiment on the fusion of the flavors. :)

I Clean Like A Pro With Zep! #ZepCleansters #Crowdtap

It's flu season again and that means, besides washing our hands regularly, I have to be extra careful and extra clean around the house to help prevent my family from catching it.

Luckily, as a member of Crowdtap, I was given the chance to sample Zep's Quick Clean Disinfectant and Zep's All-Around Oxy Cleaner and Degreaser.

Zep's Quick Clean Disinfectant kills 99.9% of acteria in just 5 seconds! That's 9 minutes and 55 seconds faster than other anti-bacterial cleaners which can take 10 minutes to disinfect a surface. It's safe to use on almost all hard and nonporous surface.

Some of the microogranism it kills are:
- common kitchen and bathroom bacteria
- rhinovirus (virus which causes colds), flu virus, HIV, canine parvovirus
- Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumonia

 

I love using the Zep Quick Clean Disinfectant on our countertop, dining table, and kitchen and bathroom sinks because I think these are the places where thorough disinfecting is a must. The Zep Quick Clean Disinfectant has a very subtle bleach scent from the bottle but when sprayed, it's odorless.

Zep's All-Around Oxy Cleaner and Degreaser is used to remove griminess and unwanted stains on countertops, carpet and upholstery. It's effective to clean the kitchen and the bathroom yet safe enough to use on delicate surfaces.

The Zep All-Around Oxy Cleaner and Degreaser has a very nice citrus-y scent. When I received it, I knew exactly where I wanted to use it. Yep! On our stove top. Since I cook home cook meals everyday, our stove is always greasy and oily so I have to clean it everyday.

The Zep All-Around Oxy Cleaner and Degreaser is effective to remove the greasy spots on our stove top. For more greasy spots (like our stove's control panel) which has accumulated lots of grease, I left the Zep's All-Around Cleaner and Degreaser for about 5 minutes and then proceeded to wipe it off. :)

After using Zep's All-Around Oxy Cleaner and Degreaser, I wiped our stove with a clean damp cloth to remove any residue. It's not necessary so I only do this on our stove where I cook (just to be safe).

Since it's an all-around cleaner, I also used this on our countertops and sinks.

I am impressed with the All-Around Oxy Cleaner and Degreaser and the Quick Clean Disinfectant from Zep.I am glad I was able to try it and thanks Crowdtap for the opportunity!

Sweet'N Low Review for Crowdtap

I've had a sweet tooth ever since I was a kid and I never grew out of it. The bad thing is, as I get older, those extra calories that didn't used to matter before now matters A LOT.

As a member of Crowdtap, I've been chosen to be part of their the Sweet'N Low Zero Calorie Sweetener Sample and Share. I've tried a different brand of Zero Calorie Sweetener before but it tasted different than the regular white granulated sugar I used.

My sister saw the Sweet'N Low and told me that it tastes good and that it's great to use it instead of the regular granulated sugar.

I liked the Sweet'N Low Zero Calorie Sweetener. There's a slight taste difference compared to regular granulated sugar but regardless, I like that it doesn't have calories. It's great to put on oatmeal and I like to put just 1/4 of the pink packet on my black matcha drink. I can't wait to try this when I cook or bake. :)

Chocolate Hershey's Spread Review #SpreadPossibilities

Even when I was younger, I've always loved Hershey's chocolates. Years and years ago, we used to go to Clark (a U.S. Air Base in the Philippines) because the stores there would have the new varieties of Hershey's chocolates not yet available in the local Philippine market. Now, I am glad they thought of making Hershey's chocolate spreads since my daughters love a similar choco-hazelnut spread.

I received the Hershey's Spreads in Chocolate flavor from #Crowdtap. I immediately tasted it using my finger. I wasn't disappointed with the taste because it tasted good. My daughters tried it and they loved it too.

They loved the breadstick and the Hershey's spreads pairing. They said it tasted like Yan-yan (a snack we buy at an Asian store and I think I saw this at Target already).

I couldn't wait to try the other varieties of the Hershey's Spreads. I think my daughters would love the Hershey's spread with Hazelnut too. :)

Cottonelle Clean Care Routine Review

I know a lot of people are not so open to talk about their "bathroom" routine but I am! I was very excited to be part of the Cottonelle Clean Care Routine's "Let's Talk About Your Bum" sampling.

I received a full size sample of the Cottonelle Fresh care wipes and 2 samples for me to hand out. (I gave it to my mom and hubby.)

I immediately tried the Cottonelle Fresh wipes (just in time! :)) and I love the scent! It smelled very nice and it's very soft and the thickness is just right. This would be our little secret but my routine after doing a #2 usually would be I'd use 2 to 3 flushable wet wipes (just to be sure it's clean) and then dry it off with toilet paper. The Cottonelle fresh wipes did it's job perfectly! :D

I love the flip off top of the Cottonelle Fresh wipes I received because it is easy to open and close. :) I would love it more if the Cottonelle container would be available with designs or patterns in it. The wipes itself are perfect already and have I mentioned I love the smell?! (I think I have already.)

So far, I am very contented with the Cottonelle Fresh wipes and would definitely buy more! :)

Lunchables Jr. Review

I received 2 Lunchables Jr. so that I can review it and my daughters were very happy when they saw the Lunchables Jr. on the table. They immediately got one each and were very excited to try it. Lunchables Jr. have 4 different packs and I got the Teddy Bear Picnic and the Blueberry Bonanza flavors.

It was very easy to open (they opened it on their own) and the portions was perfect for them. The one with the Peanut Butter was the Teddy Bear Picnic.

They also had fun decorating their food and then eating it. The apple bits were very soft and chewy. They liked the apple bits more than the blueberry flavored apple bits.

They loved dipping the honey bear grahams on the peanut butter too.

Overall, my daughters liked the Teddy Bear Picnic more than the Blueberry Bonanza. The portions are just right for their age and I liked that they had fun while eating.
