Clairol Root Touch-Up by Nice N' Easy Review and Giveaway 11/23

I have jet black hair and the only hair color that works for me is the L'Oreal Paris Superior Preference made specifically for Dark Hair (UL61 Hi-Lift Ash Brown). That was my opinion before I tried the Clairol Root Touch-Up by Nice N' Easy #6..

Being Asian, I have jet black hair and I have tried different in-home hair color products and the outcome is still the same. The only thing that finally worked on my hair was the L'Oreal Paris Superior Preference UL61. When my roots grow, I always do a whole hair application to color my roots (because I don't want to waste the extra hair color). This process takes longer and the smell is a bit overwhelming.

I am due to color my hair but thinking of the longer time I needed for a whole hair application, I kept putting it off. I saw the Clairol Root Touch-Up by Nice N' Easy 6 (Matches Light Brown Shades) and decided to give it a try.

I opened the box and saw that there is a small plastic mixing tray for the hair color and a brush for the application.
I followed the instructions and noticed that the smell is more subtle than the scent of the L'Oreal Paris hair color.
Here is a photo of the small mixing bowl. I like the mixing tray and the brush applicator. It made applying the hair color easier and direct to my roots.
It says to leave it on for 10 minutes but I left mine for about 15 minutes (I forgot about the time) LOL. I rinsed it off with water then continued shampooing my hair and then used a conditioner.

And the outcome? The color matched my current colored hair. :) The Clairol Root Touch-Up claims that it matches Light Brown shades but it also matched my L'Oreal Paris UL61 shade. I am happy to have tried the Clairol Root Touch-Up by Nice N' Easy because it shortened my hair coloring time, it was easy to apply and it matched my current shade perfectly. :)

There are 21 shades available designed to match your current hair shade. :) I definitely recommend it as I've tried it personally and have loved the result.

*Please note that results may vary and that this is based on my own experience. My hubby and I use the same hair color shade but the outcome of our hair shades after differs greatly. :)
