MY REVIEW:

When I was in high school, there was a quarter (most elementary and high schools in the Philippines have 4 quarters in a school year) where we learned about Greek Mythology in English class and I was so fascinated with it. I was so eager and interested in learning about the different gods and goddesses. When I read the synopsis of The Gate Keeper's Trilogy, I was immediately drawn to the story and was excited to read it Why? Because this book combined my love for paranormal/supernatural romance books and my interest in Greek Mythology.

The moment I started reading the book, I was hooked. I followed the journey of Therese as she lost her parents, met Than and Hip, fell in love and her journey and trials as she try to become a goddess to be with her true love, Than.

All throughout the trilogy, I looked forward to turn each page of the book because I couldn't wait to know what will happen next. There were lots of obstacles and challenges for both Therese and Than and I love how they handled and solved each challenge. The Greek gods and goddesses were described accurately and although some of them are petty and childish, I like how some gave their full support for Therese and Than.

The Gatekeeper's Trilogy is a great read for fans of Greek Mythology and paranormal or supernatural novels. This is one of the books which I couldn't put down once I started reading it.

When we first walked into our Columbia, SC Pier 1 Imports I was completely amazed and a little overwhelmed. They had so many items from their Outdoor Collection that I really wanted to purchase. Like these items pictured below. My husband really wants that Double Swingasan, he fell in love with it. They have such amazing outdoor furniture, glassware, decorations, ceramics, and so much more!
     
We had about nine guest at our Outdoor Oasis Party and everyone had a blast. I had so much fun setting up for our party. I made all types of salad, potato, macaroni, Italian Pasta salad, deviled eggs and of course hot dogs and hamburgers. We had the music going and the kids had so much fun swimming in the pool!       
The weather was nice in the high 90's and when we couldn't take the heat anymore we had fun in the pool. I have received so many compliments on the theme we choose for our Outdoor Oasis Party. Everyone loved the colors we choose, vibrant, fiesta colors from the outdoor rug we purchased from Pier 1 Imports, the dinnerware, glasses, pitcher, napkins and napkins holders and let me nit forget the tea-light stand. They loved it all!

I love shoes, what woman doesn't and with Spring here and Summer not that far away I have started shopping for Sandals. Sorry but I can't get enough of White Mountain Shoes, they have a beautiful selection of Spring and Summer shoes and recently they sent me a pair of Risso Black Sandals and I love them! I did a review for White Mountain Shoes a few months ago and you can read that HERE.     White Mountain has so many styles of Spring shoes to choose from, I had such a hard time picking one that I really wanted, I finally settled for the Risso Black Sandals and I am so glad I did! This is a really comfortable wedge that has a hugging stretch fabric and really beautiful detailed stone design. They are not only stylish, but one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I've ever slipped onto my feet. I absolutely love White Mountain Shoes!   I was first a little worried to wear these. I really never wore a wedge sandal and was a little worried I would be uncomfortable. Well I worried for nothing, the Risso Sandal was so comfortable. Ronnie and I went out to dinner and I slipped these on and I felt like I was in heaven, so soft and comfortable!       When I first put these on I was absolutely amazed at just how much I loved them. The shoe has great cushioning on the inside and that is what makes these shoes so wonderful to wear. I love that I can wear these for hours and my feet do not hurt at all! These wedges are perfect for Spring and Summer and go with just about everything I wear.
