BY Hydro-Gel Strong By Framesi From Beauty Care Choices Review + Giveaway 12/22 US

I'm not a hair gel person mainly because I get these small pimple bumps on my forehead when I used several hair gels in the past. Recently, Beauty Care Choices sent me their Framesi BY Hydro-Gel Strong sculpting gel and because I've tried Framesi's Color Lover Shampoo and Conditioner before (I love these by the way!), I was quite excited to see how the BY Hydro-Gel strong from Framesi would work for me.

Framesi BY Hydro-Gel strong is an alcohol free styling gel with malachite extract and rich in minerals to rebuild damaged hair.  Plus it has UV filters to protect hair.  Volumizes while adding incredible texture and shine.  Especially good on short styles.  Apply to either damp or dry hair. P.S. BY stands for Be Yourself. :)

The Framesi BY Hydro-Gel Strong came in a black tube. The Hydro-Gel Strong has a clear, glittery, slight grayish color (hard to capture in camera!) and has a very nice scent. I have shoulder length hair and a layered cut so putting my hair up in a bun or ponytail is very hard. There are these short stray hairs which come off my bun or ponytail. I also have bangs which, once in a while, I want to get off my face but would come off the hair pins towards the end of the day.

I tried the Framesi BY Hydro-Gel Strong and it was easy to apply. It added shine to my hair maybe because of the glittery color of the hydro-gel. My hair didn't look flat (one of the things I don't like in a gel) when I put it up on a ponytail and the Framesi BY Hydro-gel kept the short stray hairs in place. It also didn't make my hair look hard or sticky. I also liked that this didn't give me the "wet look". I actually don't like my hair to have that "wet look" style which other gels did.

I also noticed that when I applied the Framesi BY Hydro-Gel Strong in my damp hair, my hair would dry up with less frizz and less puffiness. It removes the frizz and puffiness without flatting my hair out.

I like how this kept my hair smelling nice and fresh all day. I also like that it doesn't cause any build-up on my scalp. It's easy to rinse off with water and shampoo. And the good news, I didn't get any small pimple bumps on my forehead! :)

As a person who doesn't actually use gel, I am impressed with the Framesi BY Hydro-Gel Strong. This is actually a nice product and I love how I discovered another product for my hair.

Retinol Surge Moisturizer From Body Merry Review

 I've tried several products from Body Merry already and I loved every product I've tried from them. Recently, I was given the chance to try their Retinol Surge Moisturizer.

The Retinol Surge Moisturizer from Body Merry came in a white plastic bottle with a maroon label. The moisturizer is dispensed through a pump which comes inside the bottle. The pump is very easy to control and I like how I can easily control the amount of moisturizer I want to dispense.

The cream has a white color and has a creamy consistency. It has a very subtle tangy/fresh scent which goes away once I start to spread the moisturizer. It absorbs very quickly, has a light feel and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy. I usually skip on moisturizers because they make my face oilier but the Body Merry's Retinol Surge Moisturizer didn't do that so I am fine using it everyday.

I like how gentle the Body Merry Retinol Surge Moisturizer is. I didn't see any noticeable peeling on my skin (I know some Retinol cause peeling) but I noticed my skin looking more hydrated and moisturized. It didn't cause me any breakouts and any skin reactions.

Protect Hands When Cooking With Perfect Grill Gloves

We love using our oven to bake, broil or even cook different kinds of food from desserts to entrees. The problem is our cloth oven mitt which is made of cloth. The heat from the tray almost always seeps through the cloth glove mitt and would sometimes burn my hand. Now, I got to try the Perfect Grill Gloves and was amazed at how it protected my hand from the heat.

I've recently tried a Silicone BBQ Grill Gloves and I love it since it's so effective in protecting my hands but the thing is, it's a bit too big for my hands and it's not as flexible as a cloth mitt. I had to get used to the big feeling of the gloves before I can use it comfortably.

The Perfect Grill Gloves is made of a 100% cotton inner layer and a meta-aramid (nomex) & para-aramid (kevlar) outer layer. There are silicone strips all throughout the gloves to help grip hot objects like trays and pans without slipping. It's also machine washable and is heat resistant up to 662 Degrees Farenheit.

The Perfect Grill Gloves are thick and looks big but it fits and molds to my hands. I don't have any difficulty flexing my fingers and holding the trays and pans and it effectively protects them from the heat. The heat from the tray didn't seep through the Perfect Grill Gloves even when holding the hot tray for an extended period of time.

I also like the silicone strips because it helps with holding the trays and preventing it from accidentally slipping from my grip. I like the individual finger holes because I have a wider mobility for my fingers.

This is a nice pair of grill gloves and I love how it protects my hands from the heat of a hot tray/pan.

The Liztek PSS-60B Ultra Portable Bluetooth Wireless Speaker arrived in a black box. The speaker inside has a nice design, is light and portable. The USB connector is already included inside the box and is used to charge the speaker by plugging it into our PC/laptop.

It has 4 buttons on top of the speaker. This works when I pair it up via bluetooth on my smartphone and iPad.

There's an on and off switch at the back, an audio-jack port, a USB port for charging, and a MicroSD port to play music in your MicroSD.

What did I think about the Liztek PSS-60B Ultra Portable Bluetooth Wireless Speaker?
- I love how easy it is to pair with my iPad and smartphone (Moto G). No codes needed to pair it up to my gadget. :)
- I like the design. It's really simple and nice.
- It's light so I can bring it with me on the go. :)
- I like how it can be used for calls too. I like the built-in microphone so that I don't have to disconnect it first in order to answer phone calls.
- I like that the buttons on the speaker work to play, pause, rewind, forward or answer phone calls.
- I like that this last up to 8 hours and the charging time is just 3 hours. Charges through my laptop / PC via the USB connector which is included in the box.
- I like the voice prompt when I pair it up. It says what its doing so I don't have to guess if it's pairing or if it's already paired with my device.
- I like that I can use it with an audio-line jack. It's not included though but I have some spare ones here at home.
- I love the crystal clear sound from the speaker.
- I do hope there's a volume control directly on the speaker so that I can control the volume there. I have to adjust the volume on my iPad to turn the volume lower or higher.
- I like that I can see the power/battery charge of the speaker on my device. It's located beside the bluetooth icon (upper right) of my iPad.

MY REVIEW:

I love this CD. The calming voice of Janet Montgomery combined with the relaxing music of Jeff Gold in the background makes the Sleep Well for Kids: Under the Sea a perfect addition to my daughters' bedtime routine. My 6 year old daughter has trouble sleeping and she would often toss and turn for a long time before she would drift off to sleep. Listening to this CD made her more calm and relaxed before going to be.

I love the soothing and calming voice of Janet Montgomery. Her voice guided my daughters (I listened too so me too! :)) from the clouds, down to the pool and to the beach. The background music by Jeff Gold is very calming and nice. I also found myself relaxing and becoming more calm as I listened to the CD.

This is such a nice CD and it has helped my 6 year old daughter wind down for the day and sleep more easily.
