PickGeek Guitar And Base Pick Set Review

PickGeekGuitarAndBasePickSet.jpg
I only play the guitar a little bit but I've come to like the idea of using picks when I'm playing and studying the cords and strumming the guitar. I was sent a pack of PickGeek Guitar and Base Pick Set and I looked forward to trying it.

The PickGeek Guitar and Base Pick Set arrived in a metal "click-clack" container. This means that to open the metal case, I press the middle portion of the lid until I hear a "click" sound. To close the lid of the metal case, I press the sides of the lid until I hear a "clack" sound.

The metal case holds the 16 guitar picks included in the PickGeek Set.

The PickGeek Pick Set came in 8 different designs, two of each design, and 4 different thickness:

  • Extra Heavy (1.5mm)
  • Heavy (0.96mm)
  • Medium (0.71mm)
  • Thin (0.46mm)

I love the bright and bold designs of each pick and each design has a corresponding thickness.

The PickGeek Guitars make strumming the guitar easier for me. I also love how I don't have to use my fingers to strum anymore. I can choose which thickness I like to use because the set includes different pick thickness already.

The metal casing helps in keeping my picks in place. I often lose guitar picks because they're too small but since there's a casing for these, I can just store them there after I use them.

You can purchase the PickGeek Guitar and Base Pick Set HERE with free shipping if you are a Prime member.

StrapSnake Cotton Guitar Strap with Brown Leather Review

StrapSnakeCottonGuitarStrapBrownLeather.jpg
I've never thought of having a guitar strap because I don't play the guitar professionally so, when I had the opportunity to try the guitar strap by StrapSnake, I looked forward to trying it because afterall, this is the first time I've had a guitar strap.

Here is a quick product description of the StrapSnake's Cotton Guitar Strap w/ Brown Leather:
  • SOFT COTTON IS THICKER, TOUGHER, and STRONGER over thin nylon or polypropylene guitar straps that are prone to slip and fall off your shoulders and cut into your body due to thinner material ... a problem for kids due to shoulder fatigue.
  • KIDS GUITAR STRAP for girls and boys since it cinches down to 33.5" for young kids and teenagers, so they can get comfortable with playing bigger guitars too.
  • PERFECT GUITAR ACCESSORIES to enhance your guitar player style and performance with comfortable, non-sliding feel.
  • CLASSIC BLACK, NO LOGO DESIGN complements any acoustic or electric guitar without being a brand advertisement.
  • FITS MOST MEN AND WOMEN BODY SIZES since it extends to 56" for larger sized players and those who prefer a low hanging, full arm strumming, guitar style.

The StrapSnake's Cotton Guitar Strap arrived quickly. It is packed in a clear plastic. The strap has brown leather ends which made it look more classy and pretty. The black strap itself is thick and has a soft texture. Because of the thickness, it looks durable.

The strap is also adjustable so I had the option to adjust the strap to fit comfortably on my shoulders. Since the strap is thick, it doesn't crease or bend easily.

The guitar strap by StrapSnake made it more comfortable to play the guitar because it supported the weight of the guitar. The strap is comfortable around the shoulders and didn't make my shoulders hurt.

Additionally, I was able to carry the guitar on my back which also hung comfortable on my back.

I like how the StrapSnake's Cotton Guitar Strap with Brown Leather made it easier to play the guitar because it helps support it. It's stylish and the color complements well with our acoustic guitar.

60 Guitar Picks In A Sturdy Case From Tanbi Review + Giveaway 3/30 US/CAN

TanbiGuitarPicks.jpg
I'm not a professional guitar player and I honestly only play the guitar a little bit. My sister knows more a lot about guitars than me and plays better but we both just learned by ourselves. I know how to use a pick to play the guitar but I really don't know why there are different sizes and I use one based on the color. :)

After researching a bit, I learned that different pick sizes produce different tones when playing the guitar and I was excited to have learned this.

When I received the guitar picks from Tanbi, I was super excited to try each pick. There are 60 picks included and a sturdy, plastic case which can carry up to 100 guitar picks. There are 7 compartments available to easily sort the picks by thickness.

Each case of picks includes the following pick thickness:
- 0.6mm (yellow)
- 0.73mm (green)
- 0.88mm (blue)
- 1mm (purple)
- 1.14mm (pink)

Since they're color coordinated, it's much easier to pick the right pick thickness.

I like how these picks are easy to grasp and hold. They are sturdy and durable.

I also like the variety of pick thickness available because I can experiment and learn how the tones differ with each pick. They're easy to use and since there's a lot, I gave my sister a few picks so that she can use it too.

The plastic case closes easily and stays closed so I can bring it on the go. I like the extra space because I can place my old picks here too. :)

You can visit the Tanbi website HERE to learn more about their other products.
