Active Belt By Respiro Review

When hubby and I go biking, I like to use a belt wherein I can place important things like my keys and a bit of cash/card. The most important thing for me is the belt should be comfortable as well as that it stays in place. When I received the Active Belt by Respiro, I was excited to try it because it looked really nice. Here is a quick product description from the company:

The Active Belt by Respiro arrived in a black box. The belt has a dark blue color and has a stretchy fabric material. One side has a zippered pocket perfect to keep things like cards/cash inside and to keep it from slipping out.

The other side has 2 internal pockets on each side.

One side of the pocket has a plastic hook inside so that I can securely hook my keys to it.

I chose a size bigger than what I usually wear but I noticed that this still fits a bit snug on my waist. I wear a size small in clothes and I got the medium one. Maybe the large size would fit more perfect for me.

Since this is a bit snug, the only things I can place here would be my keys and a card/cash. My phone can't fit the pocket anymore since it's a bit snug already. It does stay in place and although a bit snug, this still feels comfortable.

The material/fabric used is also durable since it stretched to fit my waist yet it went back to its original size. The Active Belt by Respiro also stays in place which is nice. I wouldn't be comfortable if I adjust this on my waist all the time so it's nice that this stays in place.

This is a nice belt which is perfect to use so that I wouldn't have to carry my keys and cards with my hands. It runs a size or in my experience, 2 sizes smaller, so it would be nice if they indicated that in their product description.

Lightweight Running Belt By Aegend Review + #Giveaway 6/29 US

When I jog or go biking, I like to keep important stuff near me but, I can't do that by holding them with my hands. So, it's either I use a backpack or I use a lightweight belt pouch. Using a backpack gives me more space for my things but a bit of a hassle since I have to stop biking when I need to get something from the bag. With a belt bag, it has less space but it gives me easy access to things.

When I received the Aegend Running Belt, I looked forward to see if it's comfortable and if it would work as it should.

The Aegend lightweight running belt has 2 different zippered pockets. The bigger zippered pocket is approximately 7.8" x 3.3" in size. The smaller zippered pocket, which has a yellow colored zipper, is approximately 5.1" x 2.75" in size.

There is a headphone/earphone jack in front so that earphones can easily go through.

The material of the main body of the bag is neoprene. The inside of the pouch has a breathable mesh yet the neoprene material keeps the belt waterproof. This is very helpful specially when I start sweating so that the things inside the belt bag would remain dry.

The belt is adjustable and can fit waist from 29 inches to 41 inches. The belt isn't stretchy but comfortable. The buckle is easy to snap on and off. There are also 2 grey reflective strips at the back which helps me to be visible even from the back.

The front side also have grey reflective strips which is nice.

The Aegend lightweight running belt is also very stylish. It looks nice and sporty.

It fits comfortably and it doesn't move around that much even with moderate movement. It stays in place which is nice as well.

The only thing I noticed was that since I have a bigger phone, a Huawei Ascend Mate 2, the phone fits just right on the bigger zippered pocket.

Since my phone just fits on the bigger pocket, it forms a raised edge. It's not uncomfortable but with the size of the bigger pocket, this is more perfect for smaller phones. I tried to place my old Moto G here and it fits more nice. The smaller zippered pocket is perfect for my keys with some cash/card.

I like that I can bring important things when I go biking or jogging and I like how easy it is to access them. The zippered pocket prevents my things from slipping out and it keeps them safe. I also like that I can separate my phone from my cash/card because of the 2 zippered pockets available.

The Aegend lightweight running belt is easy to use and I like how it makes it easier for me to bring a few important things when I go biking or jogging.

I've never heard of a cooling towel before and honestly, I was surprised when I opened the Forever Cool Cooling Towel by Live Infinitely. Why? I'll tell you why below in a while.

The Forever Cool Cooling Towel by Live Infinitely is wrapped in a sealed plastic inside the hard plastic carrying case. Drops of moisture can be seen inside the sealed plastic.

When I opened the plastic, the first thing that hit me was the strong, rubbery-like scent of the towel. FYI, I washed this a couple of times to get the strong-rubbery like scent. Good thing this is washable and reusable and didn't deform in any way after washing it a couple of times.

The towel has a smooth, soft texture similar to a thin and smooth kitchen sponge. My biggest surprise was that this towel was damp straight from the packaging. I didn't realize that this is called a cooling towel because it is damp and is supposed to be damp when used. After washing this a couple of times and then trying it out, I can definitely say that this is effective in cooling my body down after working out.

Since the weather is already warmer now, I sweat more and I my body temperature goes up way faster. With the Forever Cool Cooling Towel, I can cool my body heat way faster and I feel relieved and refreshed after using this. I like how it works as it should.

I also like that this is reusable and washable. I can also bring it on the go when we go biking. I like that soaking this in cool water and then squeezing it out makes it readily available for use.

Aside from the strong rubbery scent of the towel the first time I removed it from the packaging, I am glad that I got to try this towel because it helps my body cool down after a workout faster.

Be Seen At Night With The Mr Visibility USB LED Reflective Belt Review

Jogging or biking when it starts to get dark is more dangerous because pedestrians and bikers are less visible to vehicles but since hubby goes biking every Wednesday with his biking friends after work, I make sure that he has the proper gear to stay visible to cars.

When I received the Mr. Visibility USB LED Reflective Belt, I was quite excited to give it to hubby because it looked more effective compared to a regular reflective belt.

The Mr. Visibility USB LED Reflective Belt has a switch at the side which turns on a LED light in front of the belt. The area with a LED light measures approximately 18 inches in length and 2 inches in width. There are 2 light options which can be changed using the switch at the side. The first light option is a flashing light while the second option is a steady light.

The adjustable garter band at the back also has a 1 inch reflective strip to make the belt reflective 360 degrees.

The belt is adjustable to fit a waist from 25 to 50 inches (measurement according to the company). I like how this is more effective compared to a regular reflective vest because when turned on, this belt helps hubby remain visible even without a light shining on the belt.

I tried to use this as well and I like how comfortable this is and that it stays in place. The LED light works approximately 6 hours on steady light before I had to charge the belt. This is also waterproof so even when I sweat, I don't have to worry about damaging the LED reflective belt. King Athletic Resistance Band Set Review

Last year of January, I wrote a resolution of losing weight. Ever since January 2014, I've now lost 18.6 lbs and I've been trying to lose at least 5 lbs. more. Visit my blog post HERE to read about my resolution. :)

So, I've made modifications on my diet and I'm now working out regulary (Insanity, yes!). I've also started strength training but since we have limited space at home, I look for other ways to do strength training which doesn't require too much space as well as storage space. Exercise equipments wouldn't fit in our home and our apartment's gym has limited equipments, and usually, somebody else is using the equipments. I can't commit to going to a gym because I wouldn't be able to commit in driving to and from the gym regularly. So, when I learned about resistance bands, I was excited because I can start strength training at the comfort of my own home.

 The King Athletic Resistance Resistance Bands arrived in a drawstring bag. The bag contains the following:
- 5 Resistance Bands in the following color and resistance:
         - Yellow: 6 lbs
         - Blue: 10 lbs
         - Red: 15 lbs
         - Green: 18 lbs
         - Black: 20lbs.
- 2 Foam Handles
- 2 Ankle Straps
- 1 Door Anchor

The bag of resistance bands with all the accessories only weighs 762 grams. I like that it doesn't weigh much because I can bring it on the go as well. The drawstring bag included can be used as a storage bag or a carrying bag for the bands.

The different resistance in each band is nice as well because I can start off with the lowest resistance and work my way up until I can do the one with the highest resistance. During the first few reps, I felt like the bands aren't working but as I do more reps, I felt the resistance and I like how my muscles get a bit sore after doing a series of set.

The foam handles are soft and comfortable to use. I also like the ankle straps as well as the door anchor because I can also work my legs, thighs and other muscle groups. The bands are soft and smooth and are very stretchy. When unstretched, the bands measure approximately 39 inches.

Each resistance band has a metal clip on each side and I like how easy this is to attach and detach from the foam handles. There are illustrations on the drawstring bag, which are ways on how to use the resistance bands, for those who's just starting on resistance bands which I think is nice.

I like that these haven't snapped or broke yet and I like how I only need little space when doing the exercises using these bands. I also like how effective they are and that I only need a small space when storing them.

The zippered pockets are nice because they keep my valuables inside without the worry of them slipping out of the holster. I like that there are 2 zippers to keep my valuables in different pockets (e.g. cash in 1 pocket and cards in the other one).

The straps are soft, stretchy and they are adjustable. I like that it's adjustable because hubby or me can use it. Wearing the Valhalla SkinSafe Undercover is comfortable which again is nice.

BOG Ultrabright LED Front And Rear Bike Lights Review

If you've been a follower of my blog for quite some time now, you might've read that hubby rides his bike when he goes to work because his work office is just 5 minutes away from our home. There's no problem with him riding his bike in the morning because he's visible. When he rides his bike to go home, that's where the problem is because it's almost dark. There were 2 instances when he was crossing an intersection and a right turning car didn't see him. Both hit the back wheel of his bike a bit but good thing they didn't hit his wheel hard.

I don't like the fact that even with his front and rear bike lights, there are some who's not careful enough when turning right in an intersection.

When I received the BOG Ultrabright LED light, I looked forward to try it to see if both the lights are bright enough for his bike.

The BOG Lights arrived in a yellow box. The contents inside the box were:

- 1 x 5-LED Head/front bike light
- 1 x bracket for the head/front bile light
- 1 x 5-LED Back/rear red bike light
- 1 x bracket for the back/rear bike light

The head/front bike light needed 3xAAA batteries to work while the back/rear bike light needed 2xAAA batteries to work. Batteries weren't included in the box.

What's included are 4 adhesive reflective strips which can be placed anywhere on the bike.

The 5-LED Headlight has 3 functions and which can be turned on/off and changed by pressing the grey button on top of the light. The bracket included can be installed on the bike easily. The headlight can be mounted on the bracket by sliding it on or off. Hubby brings the BOG headlight home by sliding it off the bracket to prevent it from being stolen.

The 5-LED red rear light has 7 functions which can be turned on/off or changed by pressing the button at the back of the light. Similar to the headlight, the bracket included is easily installed on the bike and the light can also be mounted on the bracket by sliding the light on or off the bracket.

The 5-LED headlight is very bright and increased hubby's visibility. The 5-LED red rear light is also bright which increases his visibility at the back. Hubby likes how easy to install the brackets are and I like how I have a peace of mind knowing that he'll be safer using the BOG lights.
