Mira Lunch Box or Snack Box Stainless Steel 2 Container Set Review

It's been ages since I used a stainless steel container and I forgot how durable and nice they are. I was very excited when Mira sent me a stainless steel container set which came in a small and medium piece.

Having 2 girls ages 3 and 5, I have a few things I consider when I choose a to-go container for them.

1. It should be spill proof so number 2 is a must too.
2. The lids should be easy for them to snap on and off but shouldn't open easily when shaken. I know I don't like it when my daughter comes home and her backpack becomes the snack container. :)
3. Kid friendly, non-toxic and BPA free.

I was very happy that the Mira Lunch Box and/or Snack Box is made of quality stainless steel. The size of the containers is perfect for my daughters' snacks. I tried to shake it with my daughter's snack inside just to test if it's spill proof and doesn't open easily and guess what? It passed my test! :) The lids were very easy to snap on and off but it doesn't come off easily when shaken. I also like the color of the lids. It's BPA free as well and non-toxic and it's very easy to clean and doesn't retain the odor of other foods.

GCx2 Garcinia Cambogia & Green Coffee Bean Week 3 Update

I've been using the GCx2 Garcinia Cambogia & Green Coffee Bean Weight Loss Supplement for 3 weeks now and here is my week 3 update. You can read my week 1 and week 2 review and update on the links below.

I only lost 0.8 lbs this week but I did see a difference in my side view. I did workout 4x this week but didn't lessen my calorie intake. I will give a full review about the GCx2 Garcinia Cambogia & Green Coffee Bean Weight Loss Supplement next week and also post about what I think about this new weight loss supplement.

I am hoping to lose more weight in the coming week and will post another updated picture next week. :)

I never did drink tea. Well except for the Boba Milk Tea which I buy at least twice a week. I mean of course it's sweet and those tapioca balls are to die for. :)

I opened the bag of Matcha Green Tea they sent me. I like that it's packed nicely and in a good quality bag which can't be opened/torn easily. I immediately sniffed inside the bag and the matcha green tea powder smelled rich and nice.

The matcha green tea powder is very fine. It's like a green-colored confectioner's sugar. :) I used half a teaspoon of the Kiss Me Organics Matcha Green Tea Powder and mixed it with 8-oz. of warm milk. I was surprised by the taste because although I didn't put any sugar in my matcha green tea drink, it tasted good and has this super subtle sweet taste. I expected it to taste a bit bitter (because it's tea) but I didn't taste any bitterness on my drink.

I do have to get used to the natural "tea" taste but considering I love boba milk tea, I'm sure I will get used to the taste of the matcha green tea as well. I am going to try this over ice as well. I'll cook my own boba (as soon as I've bought some) and try to make my version of the matcha green milk tea with boba.

Glade PlugIns Scented Oil Customizables Review #GotItFree #bestfeelings

Oil plug-ins is my preferred type of air freshener. Why? Well I have 3 reasons.

1. They're easy to use. Just plug it in and room smells nice in a short time.
2. They last longer than cones and the diffusers.
3. I can adjust the intensity of the scent diffused.

I usually buy the apple-cinnamon-y scent because it's my favorite scent for our home but sometimes I just need a breather. I need a break. :)

So when I was invited by BzzAgent on a campaign for the Glade Plug-ins Scented Oil customizables and the Glade Wax Melts, I accepted it without hesitation. You can read my review of the Glade Wax Melts here.

I chose the Hawaiian Breeze and Vanilla Passion Fruit combo because I love the combination. The Glade PlugIn Scented Oil Customizable is a bit different from the normal Glade plug-ins because there are 2 slots for 2 different scents and the warmer actually alternately diffuses the 2 scents from the fragrance bottles. Cool huh? :)

I was not disappointed by the smell of the Vanilla Passion Fruit. I don't really like anything vanilla scented (it makes me a bit dizzy) but the Vanilla Passion Fruit smells heavenly. Maybe because it didn't smell anything like vanilla. It smelled a bit floral and fruity so I love it. The Hawaiian Breeze scent is my second choice when I want a breather from my apple-cinnamon scent. It smelled a bit tangy and fresh. :)

I like how the Glade Customizables alternately diffuses the 2 fragrance bottles. It makes our home smelling nice with a twist. :) I won't be getting tired of the same scent over and over again because as I've said, it alternately diffuses the 2 scents from the 2 fragrance bottles. What's nicer? I can buy a different scent of the Glade oil refill and use them on my Glade Customizables Warmer. 

The starter kit is a bit pricey because it cost $7.99 for the warmer and the 2 scented oils included but it can last up to 60 days. :)

Glade Red HoneySuckle Nectar Wax Melts Review #bestfeelings #GotItFree

I love it when my home smells nice so I always buy different kinds and types of air fresheners to help me achieve my goal. :)

This is actually the first time I tried wax melts. I usually use oil plug-ins or cones (for the bathroom) and sometimes I use diffusers or the gel type. I have seen the Glade Wax melts before and have always planned to buy one and try it at home but somehow, I never got the chance to try one until now.

I was so excited to try it and I realized how MANY kinds of scents are available for the wax melts when I went to claim my free product coupon. I finally chose the Red Honeysuckle Nectar after about 5 minutes of sniffing the different kinds of scents available for the wax melts.

Luckily, I won a warmer from a giveaway I entered a few months back so this was perfect timing. :) The warmer was not sent by BzzAgent and I won it from another giveaway.

I liked that when I held the Glade Wax Melts, it neither crumbled nor have any crumbs. It's very easy to use and not messy at all. It only started to melt a little bit after about 5 minutes in the warmer but I can already smell the wonderful scent in my living room (I placed this in our kitchen by the way). :) Well we live in an apartment so the space isn't that big BUT I can say the scent diffused faster because as I've said, I use plug-ins and diffusers but the wax melts make the room smell nice faster. :)

The Glade Red Honeysuckle Nectar Wax Melts smelled sweet, floral-y and fresh at the same time. I LOVE the scent. I always buy apple-cinnamon-y scents but I really love the Red Honeysuckle Nectar scent. It's a bit different and it's not overwhelming. My daughters complimented the new smell as well and told me it smells so good. :)

I really like the Glade Red Honeysuckle Nectar Wax Melts. Although a whole pack of the Glade wax melts (there are 8 wax melts in a pack) only last for a couple of days, the scent really got me. I really love the scent but I prefer the longer lasting air fresheners like the oil plug-ins since they're more user friendly. I will use this on special occasions though, like when friends and family come over. :)

I decided to put in a picture for comparison in the following weeks. Sadly, this week, I gained 1 pound because it was my daughter's birthday party last weekend and I indulged a little bit on her birthday cake, pasta and soda. I did do hip hop abs 3x this week.

Week 1: 142.6 lbs
Week 2: 143.8 lbs

I did gain 1 lb this week but I'll certainly do better next week. I still crave for soda and coffee but not that much anymore. :)

My thoughts:

When I received the book, God's Amazing World! by Eileen Spinelli, I can't help getting amazed by the wonderful illustrations and colors. The colors were so vibrant and colorful my daughters jumped up and down asking me to read it to them.  So I did. :)

As much as I loved the illustrations, I loved the story just as much. I grew up in a Catholic family and went to a Catholic school from elementary up to high school and graduated from a Catholic University. I am slowly introducing faith and God to my daughters and this book was perfect.

My 5 year old daughter is the one who asks lots of questions and she would often ask me where water came from, where the fishes came from and a lot more! My 3 year old daughter doesn't ask those kinds of questions yet but I can feel she's going to ask me real soon.

When I read God's Amazing World to my daughters, they were very attentive. My 3 year old daughter noticed the 2 kittens on every page. She would ask me what the cats are doing on every page. LOL. Well at least I know she was listening carefully and looking at the pictures on the book.

I love how Eileen Spinelli simplified the story of Creation through the book God's Amazing World!. I also love the illustrations by Melanie Florian. The book taught my daughters the story of Creation in a simple way which they will surely remember.

This book is great for children ages 4 and up but my 3 year old daughter loved it as well. :)

Purex Crystals Limited Edition Fabulously Fresh = LOVE + Giveaway 4/7 US

 

I've always loved Purex Crystals so imagine my delight when I was sent a bottle for their new Purex Crystals Limited Edition Fabulously Fresh scent! :)

I was excited to open the box plus the color I love the color. I am a purple/pink fan so the design really caught my attention. :)

I opened the box and was even more delighted because of the design of the bottle. It's so girl-y and so me. :D I whiffed the scent instantly when I opened the box. My 3 year old daughter was beside me when I opened it and she said it smells good. The scent is a mix of floral and fresh scent and I love it. I don't usually like the super floral-y scents so I like that this has just a hint of a floral scent and more of the fresh smelling scent.

I instantly tried it on our bed sheets since I am due to wash them already. :)

I like the vibrant neon green color of the Purex Crystals. I'm glad that even with the cute colors of the Purex Crystals, I haven't had any problems with these staining any of our clothes. :)

I can definitely say I love the new Purex Crystals Limited Edition Fabulously Fresh scent. I've tried and proven to myself that Purex Crystals eliminates odor and keeps my clothes in the closet smelling fresh and nice not just for days but for weeks that's why I always use them whenever I wash our clothes. Purex Crystals have been a part of my laundry ever since I tried them and I am glad they offer several scents available. I also love that it's a fabric softener and a laundry enhancer as well. It's also safe to use even on my daughters' sleepwear.

Remember my previous post about using the Purex Crystals as an air freshener? Well the scent lasted about 3 weeks in my bathroom and I will definitely use this new Purex Crystals Fabulously Fresh Scent as an air freshener since I love the smell. :)

Fiber One Protein Cereal Review #GotItFree

As a BzzAgent, I get invited to campaigns and sent free products to try. I was excited because I was invited to try the Fiber One Protein Cereals. I was sent 2 different boxes: Maple Brown Sugar and the Cranberry Almond.

I was also given discount coupons and I handed it out to friends and family who wanted to try these too.

I first tried the Cranberry Almond but I didn't like the taste much. It reminded me of a taste we used to describe when we were younger which is "lipstick-y". I remember my grandmother having this specific lipstick which has a distinct smell. Although we didn't eat her lipstick, the scent was strong enough for us to taste it. You know, when you smell something, like soap for example, you didn't actually put it in your mouth but sometimes, the scent makes you feel like you've tasted it. Anyways, my 5 year old liked this better so I'm thinking maybe it's not just to my liking. :)

The second box I tried was the Maple Brown Sugar. I love the taste because it tasted like a granola bar I usually buy. I love it on milk as well as by itself. I also tried it as a salad topping and it tasted great too. :)

These are great for mid-day snacks as well because they're delicious to munch on. I love that these provide 10g of protein when served with milk and that it provides 20% daily value of fiber.
