When I take a bath, our bathroom would become foggy, specially the mirror, even when I turn on the exhaust fan. I have to open the door to clear the foggy mirror and now that the weather is colder, opening the door brings in a blast of coldness inside the bathroom. The Gurin DHMD-210 Electric Compact Dehumidifier in a box that included an AC/DC Power Adaptor and an instruction manual. It is small and compact measuring 8.5(H) x 6(W) x 5(D) inches and weighing about 2 lbs. It is so easy to use, just plug it and press the On Button (Green Light). I decided to set it up in our bathroom because it's foggy after I take a warm shower.

Specially now that it's getting colder, the mirror would fog up even if I turn on the exhaust fan in our bathroom. I have to wait a couple of minutes and open the door in order to lift the fog from the mirror. When I received the Gurin dehumidifier, I was excited to try it to see if it would help lessen the fogginess inside the bathroom. The Gurin dehumidifier is so quiet and doesn't consume much space. Since our bathroom countertop isn't that big, I like that I can fit it there without having to compromise space. It is quiet, barely a whisper, when working so it's nice. I have to empty the tray every 3 to 4 days because water collects at the plastic bin. I like that it's easy to use and works as it should.

Santa Medical Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer Review

I have 2 daughters who are 4 and 7 and having a working, accurate thermometer in the the house is a must. I have several digital oral thermometer, a forehead thermometer and also an ear thermometer from my mom. The first takes time to get the result and it requires to be disinfected every use. The ear thermometer is more accurate and easy to use but requires a one-time disposable filter/cover for the ears probe which I sometimes I forget to buy and in the long run cost me. The forehead thermometer is better because I just swipe it on my daughters' foreheads but it takes a couple of seconds before it gives out a read-out. I received the SantaMedical RY-230 Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer neatly packed in a box. It included the 2 AAA batteries, a nice gray pouch and the instruction manual. The thermometer is compact measuring 5.25 x 0.7 x 1.6 inches and weighs approximately 3.6 oz. It is compact, portable and lightweight so I can easily put it inside my bag.

 There is a button on the side which turns the beeping alarm on and off. The beeping alarm is a bit loud so I prefer to turn it off when I use this to take my daughters' temperature when they're sleeping.

The LCD Display has a back light so it's easier to see the read-out even when it's dark. The LED display is also big which is nice because I can read the display easily.

It is easy to use and I love that in just a second, it can take the temperature already. This is also great because I don't have to put the thermometer on my daughters' foreheads so they wouldn't be disturbed when I take their temperature when they're sleeping.

 It can recall previous readings so I would know if the temperature went up or down. I like the big lighted LCD screen for easier reading specially during night time. I also like that I can choose between Celsius and Fahrenheit. Another thing is that it beeps and back light will glint 4x when temperature goes over 38 Celsius.

This is an accurate and easy to use non-contact thermometer which gives a temperature reading in a second.

Gurin Massage Roller Review

 I sometimes suffer from sore muscles either at my back because of sitting in front of the computer for a prolonged period of time or sore thigh and leg muscles because of driving for almost 3 hours to and from work. At times, it's also due to standing most of the time at work or just plainly sore muscles after my work out. I seldom use Ben-Gay or related products because both me and my 4 year old daughter doesn't like the minty scent and I definitely don't want to take pain relievers constantly just for muscle pains. So I wanted to try the Gurin Massage Roller V.2 (GMR-110) as an alternative.

I received the product neatly packed in a plastic pouch and I got the 17.7 inches travel size. It weighs almost 10 oz. They have 2 other sizes according to the label, a 22.8 inch Convenient Size (GMR 210) and a 22.8 inch with 16 Magnets (GMR-210MG). The roller looks basically as a hard or stiff stick. It has 10 light green rollers in the middle ( measuring 1 inch each ) that is made of hard plastic and 2 yellow stopper made of rubber at both ends of the rollers next to the light gray handles at the end.

Each handle measures 3.5 inches and fits well in my palm. But I admit I have a small hand. It is made of hard rubber so it is sturdy and it has notches for easy grip.

The green rollers basically serve as the massager because they move and roll while I slide the stick to my sore muscle. The 10 rollers are positioned close to each other with only 0.5 cm allowance for smooth and more effective massaging. The roller can be used on most part of the body such as head, neck, back, waist, thighs, legs and also soles of the foot.

I like that I can control the pressure I need to exert on different areas of my body. I can feel how it gradually reduces the tightness in my muscles and eases the tension. It provides soothing relief and in the end it calms and relaxes my sore and tired muscles. I like that this massage roller from Gurin is so handy that I can use it anywhere in the house, while watching tv and I can also take it with me when we travel. And occasionally, my husband uses it too.

The Volmate 16 LED Solar Power Motion Sensor works as advertised. I place it in our terrace so that it stays lighted even when it gets dark already. The light is dim when it's not activated and when it senses motion, the light becomes brighter.

This is great because it makes me feel safer and secured because we sometimes leave the sliding door open at night. With this light, we would be able to see when something comes within 3 meters of our front porch because it automatically activates within the 3 meter zone.

 I like that solar light can last for 10 to 12 hours continuously when properly charged. I like that it is waterproof so I don't have to move it when it rains. It recently rained here the past 2 days and it's still working so I've tested that it's not affected by rain.

It's so easy to install and since this is a solar light, there are no need to change batteries. It's lightweight and portable as well so I can bring it inside the house during night time and let it recharge in the morning.

Rhino Fuerte Hair Styling Gel Review

 I don't use a styling gel but my brother does. I tried a different styling gel before and my experience wasn't that pleasant. It made my hair feel stiff and left residues on my scalp.  According to my brother and his friend who tried and used the gel, the gel effectively gives a mild hold and style but not to the point of making their hair feel stiff.

It also doesn't leave any residues on their scalp and it washes off easily. They also said that after washing it off, their hair feels soft.

The Rhino Fuerte hair styling gel came in a 16 oz. jar which for me is a decent size. It's okay to use daily and doesn't cause any build-up or residue. The gel works a bit differently for different hair types but effective enough to give a mild hold.

The book, Sydney Becomes a Big Sister is a nice book for young girls who are becoming big sisters soon. The book is a simple and short read perfect for a bedtime story. It tells a story of Sydney who's waiting for her mom and dad to come home with her new baby brother.

I like this book and I like how it prepares young children to meet and become a big sister. The illustrations are nice too.

 The Aquaswift Swimming Goggles have a silicone lining on the eyepiece.

 The silicone lining effectively forms a seal around my eyes without making the area around my eyes feel uncomfortable.

 The head strap is stretchy and when removed carefully, it doesn't pinch or get caught on my hair.

 The hard plastic case included is nice because it keeps the goggles safe. The holes on the plastic case also drains excess water out of the case so that the goggles remain dry.

There are 2 extra nose pieces available with different sizes. I like this because I was able to find the piece which fits me perfectly and the smaller one is perfect for my daughter.

The Aquaswift Swimming Goggles doesn't fog and I like how clear it is. The glasses are tinted light blue but it doesn't affect my vision. I also like that this can fit me and my 7 year old daughter. It has a nice color and can be worn as hubby as well.

The materials used look durable and I like how easy it is to use. The short instruction guide included was helpful because I now know how to wear the swimming goggles properly.
