Youphoria Yoga Towel Review

I get sweaty when I workout, even more so when the weather gets warmer, so it gets a bit slippery when I start doing floor exercises on my mat. When my exercise/yoga mat gets wet with my sweat (wow that rhymes.. :)), it gets harder to balance because my hands and feet start slipping. So, using a yoga towel helps in the sense that it absorbs my sweat and helps with balance and stability because it improves grip and traction.

I already own several yoga towels and each one has it's own unique feature like a design, or the feel of the cloth. I recently tried the Yoga Towel by Youphoria and they have 5 different colors available and 2 of these colors have 2 different sizes. I chose the dark gray towel with pink stitching (because I love pink) in a 24"x62" size.

It arrived in a clear plastic packaging and the yoga mat inside looks pretty. It has a very soft texture and the pink stitches is thick and cleanly made. There are no hanging loose threads around the edges and the color combination is very nice.

I washed it first before using it and was glad that the towel didn't curl on the edges. The towel stayed like new after washing it and the color and the texture was still the same as when I got it out of the plastic packaging.

I placed it over my yoga/exercise mat and proceeded to do my workout routine. When it came to the floor exercises, I was sweaty already so the yoga towel by Youphoria was put to the test.

The Yoga Towel by Youphoria absorbs sweat very well. It helped me keep my balance as well as prevented me from slipping slowly because it absorbed my sweat. The mat also stayed in place and provided a better traction. I didn't have to adjust and readjust it every time I do a different floor exercise move so, it saved me the trouble of fixing it again and again.

I also like to put this over my carpet when I'm just doing crunches because it feels more hygienic (rather than lying down on the floor) and clean.

I've washed this several times already and it has neither faded nor shrunk and no curling edges yet.
