Finesseur 8 Inch Ceramic Chef's Knife Review
I have different knives at home but I've never owned a ceramic knife before. Maybe because my mom and grandmother also used steel knives when they chop and slice before, that's why I also use steel knives. With steel knives, I noticed that they become dull easily and sometimes they form rust on the blades.
When I received the Finesseur 8 inch Ceramic Chef's Knife, I was quite excited to try it because this is the first time I've owned a ceramic knife. I've heard about ceramic knives before but haven't tried or used one, maybe because for me, old habits (or for this matter using products which my grandmother and mom also use up 'til now) die hard.
Before using the Finesseur Professional Ceramic Chef's Knife, I read the description of the knife first and how to care for it. Here is a quick product description of the Finesseur 8 Inch Ceramic Chef's Knife:
Discover effortless food cutting within seconds. Quick, perfect slices and dices every single time. Cooking should be this easy for amateurs or seasoned chefs.
Slice exactly where you want to with precision and confidence. With this sharp and nimble ceramic knife, you are in complete control.
Perfect for health conscious families. Less exposure to germs and bacteria because ceramic is non-porous and chemically stable. You'll also never worry about rust, stains, lingering smells, or aftertaste again.
Enjoy a sharp knife for years to come. Finesseur ceramic knives hold their original sharpness longer due to the superior strength of the zirconium dioxide blades.
Full 1-year 100% satisfaction guarantee. Just email vendor via Amazon if not completely satisfied. Refund will be processed within 24 hours, no questions asked.
The Finessuer 8 inch Ceramic Chef's Knife arrived in a white box. The knife inside actually looked prettier than steel knives. It has a black color and is lighter than a steel knife I own with the same size. The handle is shaped so that it's easy to hold.
I tried the Finesseur 8 inch Ceramic Chef's Knife as soon as I got it and was surprised at how sharp it is. I can easily cut vegetables and thawed boneless meat without putting much effort into my wrist and into the knife.
This is very easy to clean as well. I hand wash it but keep away from the blades because it is sharp. I do have to dry it after washing it because water spots form on the blades if I leave it to dry. I also learned that drying the blade would lengthen the blade's life.
This ceramic knife also doesn't retain strong scents from certain vegetables like onions and garlic. As soon as I wash it, the scent goes away.
I like the Finesseur 8 inch Ceramic Chef's Knife and I'm switching to ceramic knives now that I've tried one.
