When my 1st daughter was born, she didn't liked being swaddled so I was always wondering what swaddling blankets are for. My wonder for swaddling blankets turned into a need when my 2nd daughter was born because she always wanted to be swaddled. The swaddling blankets I had back then were made of cotton and polyester and were not that stretchy so she always wiggles out of her swaddle.
Lambie & Me sent me a 2-pack Swaddle Blanket to review. Although I don't have a newborn to swaddle anymore, my daughters were excited to use it as blankets.
The Lambie & Me Swaddle Blankets were made from 100% Muslin Cotton. It's pre-washed for super comfort but I still washed it before I let my daughters use it. It's soft when I got it out of the box but got softer after I washed it. I love that the swaddle blankets were thin and breathable. Here in SoCal, the temperature is already in the 90's during daytime and at night, the temperature drops only to the 60's so the thin and breathable material of the blankets are great.
The color of the blankets is great either for a girl or a boy. My daughters love the dotted design and the colors. I also like that these swaddle blankets can be used not only for swaddling but also as a cover for strollers, a nursing cover, a burp cloth, a travel blanket or a changing/play mat. The size is big (47 x 47 in. each) which is nice and it's a bit stretchable too so making a tight swaddle is easier.
You can purchase the Lambie & Me Swaddle Blankets on AMAZON.

ReplyDeleteI've heard great things about these blankets and can't wait to try them out on baby #4!
ReplyDeleteI would love to give these to my daughters who are both due this summer
ReplyDeleteI like how you describe the material as breathable. I am going to have a baby soon so breathable materials would be good.
ReplyDeleteI love the size of the swaddles and the fact that they are breathable for hot summer weather. I have had two babies born in the summer now who LOVE to be swaddled, but it was so warm it was hard to keep them cool and swaddled!
