Herotopia Online Game for Kids Review

My 5 year old daughter loves playing online games. As a mom, I allow her to play online games just as long as it's educational and appropriate for her age. I saw Herotopia and got curious of the name. I showed it to her and she immediately wanted to try it.

The sign-up process is very easy and she customized her own hero's costume, hair and eyes. Her hero is the one in blue clothes and green cape. She also named her own hero. I like the graphics because they're colorful and there are different levels. There is also an option for chatting with other players but since she's too young to understand it, she just played with the different mini games.

This game is called Stash the Trash. I enjoyed playing this game as much as my daughter did. You just have to catch the recyclable things the airplane man is dropping and avoid the toxic barrel he drops. There is a timer but as long as you catch the clocks the airplane man drops, you'll never run out of time. I love this game because my daughter learned about recycling. When I was playing the game she keeps on telling me on how to recycle bottles because they harm the fishes and sharks in the ocean.

This is another mini game which is called Tugboat twist. It is similar to the Blocks game I have on our tablet and the goal is to open up a path for the blue boat to got to the blue exit space on the right. Now she tried playing this and she only finished up to level 2.  This is harder and I'm the one who played it until level 13. I enjoyed the game but not intended for younger kids.

This is her favorite part. The Playground where she has her own smighties pet. Her pet's name is Huego and he is so cute. She loves feeding him and bathing him. My 2 year old loves this because of the simple buttons. She can just click the 6 different buttons here and the pet responds.

It is free to sign-up and create a character at Herotopia. You can play many different mini games in the free subscription and interact with other players too. You also have the option to choose a membership plan for $49.95 a year for more options like decorating your child's hideout and get superpowers and super vehicles.

It is very fun and I like it because it teaches my daughter about the environment in a fun and educational way.

Kroger Deli Fried Chicken Review

I have 2 daughters with very different personalities as well as eating habits. My elder daughter who just turned 5 is a very picky eater. She doesn't like many foods. My 2 year old on the other hand eats everything. She eats anything I give her and doesn't mind eating vegetables and she loves fruits. Despite their differences on food choices, they both love fried chicken. They would eat a lot whenever fried chicken is served.

As a member of BzzAgent, I was given a free coupon for an 8 pc. Kroger Deli fried chicken, a free product coupon for the Kroger chips and a free product coupon for any 1.25 L Coca-cola product. I was excited to try the chicken the most. My daughters were excited as well and couldn't wait to taste it.

I love that the chicken stayed fresh and the taste isn't too salty. It was just right for me. It was perfect with white rice. The meat of the fried chicken was juicy and soft. My daughters loved it too. They ate more than what they eat and I'm very happy with that. The chicken also stayed fresh until we got home. The size of the fried chicken was pretty big too (specially the thighs).

Pajanimals: Pajama Party! DVD Review

As a mom of 2 girls (2 and 4 year old), I always look for fun and at the same time educational children's shows. As an NSider, I was given another opportunity by NCircle Entertainment to review their Pajanimals Pajama Party! DVD.  My 2 year old personally picked this title when I showed them the available titles they can pick. So when the DVD came, she was very excited to watch it.

My daughters watched it with excitement. My 2 year old loved the 1st episode. She was excited to see all the balloons in Sweet Pea Sue's birthday party and even recognized the colors. They also danced to the Jiggle Giggle Dance and the Sing, Sing, Sing a Pajanimal Song.

For me, I love that the episodes teach lessons like sharing and not becoming jealous in a subtle way that my daughters understand.

I was also surprised to see a colorful certificate from NCircle for my participation to their NSider program. My 2 year old daughter immediately recogniszed Pocoyo, Elli and Pato. :)
I truly recommend pajama party for younger children because the characters are very fun to watch.

Here is a brief description of the DVD from NCircle:

Dino Dan "Dino Party" DVD Review

As a member of the NSider, I was given another opportunity to review the Dino Dan Dino Party DVD. My daughters were excited to watch it specially my 4 year old who loves dinosaurs.

Here is a picture of them watching the Dino Dan Dino Party. They watched it 2x and were very attentive while they watched it. My 4 year old daughter liked the second episode the best. She loved the Stegosaurus and how the spikes changes color depending on the emotions of the Stegosaurus.

I like Dino Dan personally as a mom because the show keeps my daughters entertained and at the same time, they learn about dinosaurs in a very subtle and simple way that they'll remember the name of the dinosaurs. My 2 year old also liked the show and watched it together with my 4 year old.

Here is a brief description of the DVD:

Seventh Generation products review

I always love it when I discover new products my family would love. I've been given the chance to try 6 different products from Seventh Generation.

First is the Seventh Generation Baby Shampoo and Wash. I used this on my 2 year old daughter and I love the light citrus scent. It is made with extra virgin olive oil and is gentle, natural and hypoallergenic. My daughter like the smell too and left her hair smelling fresh and citrusy after bath.

The next product I tried is the Seventh Generation Baby lotion. Like the Baby shampoo and wash, it also has a light citrus scent. I like that it didn't leave any greasy feeling on the skin like other lotions does. It left my daughter's skin soft and lightly scented. It is also made with olive oil and is gentle and hypoallergenic.

I also got a sample of their Seventh Generation baby Natural 4x detergent. It has a light lemon-y smell and it is hypoallergenic and gluten free. I tried it on my daughter's white clothes and I like that it cleans well.

Next sample is the Seventh Generation Mandarin Nourishing Body wash. Of course I was excited to try it on me. I like the light citrus scent and I like that my skin felt soft after using it.

I also tried their Seventh Generation Lavender moisturizing lotion. I like the calming and relaxing lavender scent of the lotion. I like that this lotion is non-greasy.

Last but not the least, I got to try the Seventh Generation Mandarin Refreshing Facial Clothes. The facial cloth is super soft! I like that it cooled down my face specially with the warmer weather the past days. It made my face looking fresh and hydrated. I definitely recommend this and love the light citrus scent too.

Overall, I love the products I tested and would definitely buy more. :) You can also find more Seventh Generation products here. For more savings, you can get a 20% off code for Seventh Generation products here.

Campbell's Go Coconut Curry with Chicken and Shitake Mushrooms Review

I admit it. As a stay-at-home mom of 2 girls, there are times when I feel too lazy to prepare and cook our meals from scratch so I look for other alternative food in the market that are easy to prepare and at the same time healthy and of course should taste good.

I was given the chance to review the Campbell's Go Coconut Curry With Chickenand Shitake Mushrooms. I was sent a free product to taste. Here is the actual product sent to me.

I was glad of the flavor because I love curry dishes. I also noticed that the packaging is nice and the preparation time is really fast. You just have to cut along the line at the back (I didn't even use a scissors to cut it. It was very easy to cut using my hand) and then microwave on high for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes.

I instantly smelled the curry flavoring as soon as I opened it. It smelled very good and nice.

I microwaved it for 2 minutes and then transferred it to a bowl.

I wanted to try it with rice so I put it on a plate with white rice.

I expected it to taste like other out of the pouch food products I've tried before but to my surprise, it tasted great! I love the curry taste. It was perfect for me. I also love the vegetables in it. I didn't expect them to be so crunchy and fresh tasting.

Overall, I would definitely buy more of these flavor. There are 6 flavors available:

  • Moroccan Style Chicken with Chickpeas
  • Golden Lentil with Madras Curry
  • Creamy Red Pepper with Smoked Gouda
  • Coconut Curry with Chicken and Shitake Mushrooms
  • Chicken & Quinoa with Poblano Chilies
  • Spicy Chorizo and Pulled Chicken with Black Beans
You can find more information for the Campbell's Go Soup here.

You can also print a $1 off coupon so you can save money.

Pocoyo's World Review

I have been given the opportunity to watch and review Pocoyo's World. My 2 and 4 year old daughters have always loved Pocoyo and I too love waching the cute little guy in blue clothes. I also like the other characters like Pato the Duck and Elli the Elephant. :) My daughters got excited when I opened the package and gave them the DVD. They watched it and I watched with them too.  I personally like The Seed episode because it taught my daughters how seeds grow to a plant. We actually made our own experiment of seeds and I showed them how to water them everyday so that they'll grow. I also like Pato's egg because my daughters learned what animal hatches from an egg. Other stories are very educational too and very simple to undertand so little kids can watch it too. :)

I always love it when my daughters find something they want to watch and pay attentively to it. I love it even more that Pocoyo teaches kids different things in a simple way. This is a great DVD even for little kids because it i so easy to understand and funny too. :)

About the DVD: Join in on the fun that is Pocoyo’s World!  You’ll laugh right along with Pocoyo and his friends on twelve fun-filled adventures! Whether it’s planting a seed, embarking on a camping trip or making friends with a little cloud, every day is an adventure in Pocoyo’s World!
