Dino Dan Trek's Adventures: Tyrannosaurus Trek DVD Review + Giveaway 2/17 US

NCircleEntertainment

My now 5 year old daughter was and still is a fan of Dino Dan. She is so fascinated with dinosaurs that she jumped up and down when I showed her the Dino Dan Trek's Adventure: Tyrannosaurus Trek DVD.

What I liked about the first episode is that it showed the continuity and transition from the previous Dino Dan to this new Dino Dan series. Dan was the main character in the first Dino Dan series and in this new series, Trek (Dan's younger brother), is the new main character.

In the first episode, my daughter briefly saw Dan on his video message for his younger brother and boy was I surprised that Dan is a teen already! At least that's what he looks like on his video message. :)

Dan was away on a trip so he sent all of his dinosaur tracking gadgets to Trek, his younger brother. Trek then realized that he can see dinosaurs just like his big brother and started his Dino Experiment 101.

My 5 year old daughter loved the old Dino Dan but she laughed more with the Dino Dan Trek's Adventures episodes. Trek is more playful and more silly than Dan so she liked the new episodes more.

I like that it's a show that taught my daughters simple facts about dinosaurs and how they lived before. My daughter even knows more dinosaur facts than me! LOL. :)

The Dino Dan Trek's Adventure has 5 different episodes including Team Dino, Use Your Dino Senses, Dino Climbers, Tyrannosaurus Trek, and Trekoodon. It has a running time of approximately 60 minutes.

She loved the Dino Dan Trek's Adventure DVD and said she wanted to watch more episodes! :)

If you have young kids who loves dinosaurs, then they would love and enjoy this as much as my daughters did.

SRP: $12.99 (It's on sale right now at Walmart.com for only $6.96!)

Octonauts: Here Come the Octonauts DVD Review + Giveaway 1/7 US

My 5 year old daughter is so fascinated with sea creatures and life under the sea. She always asks me about sharks, dolphins, penguins, whales, starfishes, and a lot more! She found out about the Octonauts about a year ago and she instantly loved the characters and the show. When she saw the Octonauts: Here Come the Octonauts! DVD, she was super excited to watch it. My 2 1/2 year old daughter on the other hand, watched this show for the first time and instantly loved it.

The Octonauts: Here Come the Octonauts! DVD has 6 episodes and each episode brought laughter to my daughters. What I like about this show is that it taught my daughters about sea animals in a fun way. My 5 year old's favorite character is Peso the Penguin. Their favorite episode would be the Adelie Penguins. They laughed a lot when the little penguin jumped on Kwazii and shouted "Cannon Ball!"

My daughters have watched this DVD a lot of times already and they doesn't seem to get tired of watching the episodes. I am happy that they can learn about different sea creatures from the Octonauts and at the same time have fun watching it. The Creature Report is an added bonus as well because it summarizes the whole episode in a way my daughters can remember it. :)

Here is a brief summary of the DVD:

“Dive into adventures with your favorite underwater explorers, the Octonauts! Join brave Captain Barnacles, daredevil ex-pirate Kwazii, and medic Peso Penguin, along with the other Octonauts as they explore the world’s oceans, rescue the creatures who live there, and protect their habitats – above and below the waves!  On this exciting DVD, Captain Barnacles tangles with a Colossal Squid who has his hooks in the Octopod, Peso babysits a bunch of penguin chicks stuck in a blizzard, Kwazii has a shocking encounter with an Electric Torpedo Ray, and much more!”  Available at retailers near you.

Yo Gabba Gabba! A Very Awesome Yo Gabba Gabba! Christmas DVD Review

My daughters always look forward to Christmas. I mean who doesn't? :) I look forward to Christmas too. When I was younger, it was about receiving and opening presents but as I got older (and had my 2 daughters :P) Christmas became about them and my family. :) I now tell them about Santa Claus and that they have to be good all year round so that they'll be on Santa's "Nice" list.

This year, we've put up the Christmas tree a lot earlier than the previous years. We've set it up a day or maybe two after Halloween. Now it wouldn't be complete without my daughters watching Christmas themed shows and listening to Christmas songs.

The Yo Gabba Gabba! A Very Awesome Yo Gabba Gabba Christmas! DVD was a perfect match. My daughters have been watching this for a few days now and even I watch it too. It features a very special guest to which my daughters squealed with delight when they saw him *ehem**Santa Claus**ehem* :D The songs were very catchy and it taught my daughters that Christmas isn't just about "receiving" but also about "giving". They also loved it when the Yo Gabba Gabba! gang put up their Christmas tree and kept comparing the Yo Gabba Gabba's! Christmas tree to ours.

I recommend this DVD because it's a perfect show to watch this Christmas season. :)

Here are some more information about the DVD from NCircle Entertainment:

"A Very Awesome Christmas Special" - It's a Christmas celebration when DJ Lance places a gingerbread house into Gabba Land! The Gabba gang make new friends with neighbors and everyone is excited to exchange gifts, but what can they possibility get for Santa Claus?
"Christmas" - So much of Christmas is about receiving, but in this episode the Gabba gang learns about giving through the songs "Making Presents" and "For Me For You." They celebrate winter and the holiday season in the songs "I Love Winter" and "Decorate the Tree."

Pocoyo Boo! DVD Review

My 2 daughters loved all the episodes in this DVD, Pocoyo Boo! :) They've watched it a lot of times already and they don't seem to get tired of watching it over and over again. They still laugh at every episode. Even my 2 year old daughter gets the humor in Pocoyo ( I too laugh with them while they watched this). I love how Pocoyo teaches good attitude like being a sport, being friendly to everybody, etc. in a simple way that my 2 and 5 year old daughters understand.

Here is a brief description of Pocoyo Boo! from NCircle Entertainment:

Pocoyo's Circus DVD Review

When I first heard my daughters saying "Pocoyo" I was like "WHAT?!". LOL. I didn't quite get what they were saying then I learned from them that it was a cartoon show that has really cute characters.

I watched this Pocoyo's Circus DVD with them and I can see why they love Pocoyo and his friends. Pocoyo is a little kid who is very cute. He has 3 friends here and their names are Ellie (Elephant), Pato (duck) and Lulu (dog). He also doesn't talk very much but in this episode, he talked! And his voice was so cute specially when he said "naughty naughty". My daughters broke into laughter when he talked. :)

I can say that this DVD is really for younger kids because my daughters aged 2 and 5 understood the episodes well and they laughed at Pocoyo and his friends even though the only voice you can hear most of the time is the voice of the narrator.

Here is a brief description from NCircle Entertainment:
Join Pocoyo and his friends on a new fun-filled circus adventure!  One day a group of curious aliens arrive in Pocoyo's world.  Pocoyo soon realizes that these new friends are not just any aliens; in fact, they are circus aliens!  Their new friends treat Pocoyo and the gang to a free day at the circus, where Pocoyo and his friends must work together to help save the show!  Will they do it?  Find out in Pocoyo's Circus!

Pajanimals: Pajama Party! DVD Review

As a mom of 2 girls (2 and 4 year old), I always look for fun and at the same time educational children's shows. As an NSider, I was given another opportunity by NCircle Entertainment to review their Pajanimals Pajama Party! DVD.  My 2 year old personally picked this title when I showed them the available titles they can pick. So when the DVD came, she was very excited to watch it.

My daughters watched it with excitement. My 2 year old loved the 1st episode. She was excited to see all the balloons in Sweet Pea Sue's birthday party and even recognized the colors. They also danced to the Jiggle Giggle Dance and the Sing, Sing, Sing a Pajanimal Song.

For me, I love that the episodes teach lessons like sharing and not becoming jealous in a subtle way that my daughters understand.

I was also surprised to see a colorful certificate from NCircle for my participation to their NSider program. My 2 year old daughter immediately recogniszed Pocoyo, Elli and Pato. :)
I truly recommend pajama party for younger children because the characters are very fun to watch.

Here is a brief description of the DVD from NCircle:

About the DVD: The Pajanimals love to celebrate birthdays, sing songs and enjoy pajama dance parties with friends.  Join CowBella, Apollo, Sweetpea Sue and Squacky as they travel to Birthday Land to learn the true importance of why birthdays are so special!  Then it’s time to enjoy a pajama dance party and sing our favorite songs!  Join the Pajanimals on these fun adventures before it’s time for bedtime.  These stories encourage children to learn important social and emotional lessons such as practice makes perfect, overcoming jealousy, and spending time with the ones you love.

Dino Dan "Dino Party" DVD Review

As a member of the NSider, I was given another opportunity to review the Dino Dan Dino Party DVD. My daughters were excited to watch it specially my 4 year old who loves dinosaurs.

Here is a picture of them watching the Dino Dan Dino Party. They watched it 2x and were very attentive while they watched it. My 4 year old daughter liked the second episode the best. She loved the Stegosaurus and how the spikes changes color depending on the emotions of the Stegosaurus.

I like Dino Dan personally as a mom because the show keeps my daughters entertained and at the same time, they learn about dinosaurs in a very subtle and simple way that they'll remember the name of the dinosaurs. My 2 year old also liked the show and watched it together with my 4 year old.

Here is a brief description of the DVD:

Join Dan as he tries to save his mom's garden from a sneaky Compognathus by dino-trapping it!  However, his plan goes wrong when he ends up trapping a baby T-rex instead.  Will Dan ever capture the Compsognathus before it destroys his mom's garden?  Then it's time to celebrate Dan's birthday!  Join in on the party and a dino scavenger hunt with Dan and all his friends! Dan, a paleontologist-in-training, uses the scientific method to gather clues and solve mysteries.  Dino Party is filled with five action-packed adventures full of discovery!
