Quaker Oats Oatmeal BzzCampaign #GotItFree

I've been a member of BzzAgent for quite some time now and I love getting in on their BzzCampaigns. A few months back, I was invited to join the Quaker Oats BzzCampaign and I was sent 2 boxes of Quaker Oats Oatmeal and some money saving coupons to share with friends and family.

The Steel Cut Quick 3-Minute Oatmeal comes in 2 flavors and I was sent the Blueberries and Cranberries one.

It has real bits of blueberries and cranberries.

I like my oatmeal a bit dry and a bit gritty so I loved this! The sweetness is just right for me and I like how easy this is to prepare. The bits and pieces of cranberries and blueberries complement the oatmeal very well.

The second one I received was the Quaker Protein Instant Oatmeal. This comes in 2 flavors as well and I was sent the Cranberry Almond one. Each serving of the Quaker Protein Instant Oatmeal has 10 grams of protein which is great because I happily eat this during breakfast.

The sweetness is just right for me and I also love the bits of cranberries and the sliced almonds in this oatmeal.

I now buy this regularly and I love how I got to try these great tasting Instant Oatmeal from Quaker Oats. Thanks Quaker and BzzAgent!

Gogo SqueeZ Fruit & VeggieZ Review for #BzzAgent #GotItFree

I've been a BzzAgent member for quite some time now and recently, I was able to get in on the GoGo Squeez Fruit & VeggieZ campaign. Since my daughters are picky eaters, I was so excited to try the GoGo Squeez Fruit & VeggieZ to see if they would like it.

There are 4 flavors available and I was able to choose the flavor I wanted. I chose the Boulder Berry flavor and it contains Apple, Carrot, Raspberry, Strawberry and Blueberry. The 3 other flavors are:

Kroger Skillet Meals Review #GotItFree

 

As a stay-at-home mom, there are times when I need to prepare dinner in a flash. Many people might ask why I need to prepare dinner in a flash when I'm a stay-at-home mom and I have a lot of time on my hands for being one. Okay, I'll answer the question simply. Being a stay-at-home mom, I have to cook, do the dishes, do the laundry, take care of my 2 girls, clean the house, bring my daughter to and from school, help with her homeworks and projects, and A LOT MORE. A lot of people I meet say I'm so lucky to be a stay-at-home mom because I have lots of time for myself but sadly, this isn't true. I am on duty 24 hours a day and sometimes, I just need a break and finish what I'm supposed to do so I can have some "me" time.

I don't usually buy frozen, ready-to-cook meals because I liked cooking from scratch. So when I was given the opportunity to try the Kroger skillet meals, I was a little skeptical and hesitant but I tried it as well.

I went to Ralph's and saw that there are about 6 varieties of the skillet meals available but I picked the Tuscan-Style Penne to try. I also got the House Salad Bacon Kroger Fresh Selections Salad Kit because there were no other varieties available. The garlic bread came in last and I found it on their frozen section.

The package of the Tuscan-Style Penne Kroger Skillet Meal says it's for 2 servings only. So for a family of 4, 1 package isn't enough for us. It also says that it would be ready in just 10 minutes.

My daughters skipped on the vegetable salad and just wanted to try the Tuscan-Style Penne and the Garlic bread. She loved both of them by the way. :)

So my thoughts on the Tuscan-Style Penne Kroger Skillet Meal, their Fresh Selections Salad Kit and the Kroger Bread? They were all delicious. :) I really thought the pasta would be a bit soggy because it had been frozen but it tasted fresh and delicious. The vegetable on the salad were crisp and fresh too. The dressing was very delicious and the toppings complemented the dressing well. The garlic bread was very yummy. Even though it was frozen, it felt soft after we placed it in the oven. 

So for me, this is a great way to make dinner in a flash. In just 10 minutes, I've prepared everything without compromising the taste and quality of our dinner. :)

I would love to try the other Kroger Skillet Meals as well and I just hope they offer the Kroger Skillet Meals in a bigger package. :)

Halloween TruMoo Chocolate Milk Review #GotItFree

I've been invited to be on a BzzCampaign for the TruMoo Halloween Chocolate Milk and Vanilla Milk. Luster Premium Distinctly White Dual-Action Whitening System Review #GotItFree

As a member of BzzAgent, I was invited to another campaign for the Luster Premium Distinctly White Dual-Action Whitening System. It claims that it whitens in just 2 days. So did it work for me?

This is my starting shade. I took this photo to compare it with my final shade and you'll see the picture below later. :)

Here is a zoomed version of my photo above and this is my starting shade.

I've always had yellowish teeth since I was a teen and to add to it, I drink coffee about 3x a week. I was very excited to learn that I am on a campaign for the Luster Premium White BzzCampaign.

I opened the box and it has only 2 products inside that I'll have to use. The bigger bottle is the Accelerator Mouth Rinse and the smaller tube is the Super Whitener Gel (I forgot to take a picture of the products inside but please refer to the box picture on top. :)) I read the instructions and it is very easy to use. Here is a step by step instruction of what I did according to the instructions:

1. Rinse mouth with the Accelerator Mouth Rinse for 10 seconds.
2. Shake Super Whitener Gel Tube for 3 to 5 seconds and then squeeze tube and apply it to the 6 upper teeth and 6 lower teeth (the teeth that shows when smiling). Do not let it touch the lips or gums for 30 seconds and after that you can close your mouth and leave the gel on teeth for 10 minutes.

You can repeat the steps twice in the morning and rwice in the evening for 3 days (total of 12 sessions). If you are short on time, you can do it once in the morning or once in the evening for 6 days.

Here are my thoughts on the Luster Premium Distinctly White Dual-Action Whitening System:

First, I like the taste of the Accelerator Mouth Rinse. It is minty and it's color blue. It says to use about 1 tbsp. of the Mouth Rinse or the right amount for me to swish and cover the front teeth. I made the cover of the Accelerator Mouth Rinse as my guide and 1 full cover cap is enough for me.

Next is the Super Whitener Gel. First time I used it, I started with my upper teeth. I noticed that when I got to my bottom teeth, I needed cotton to absorb my saliva already. The taste of the Super Whitener Gel is bitter (I didn't intentionally swallowed the gel but when I closed my mouth after 30 seconds, I swallowed excess saliva and the taste of the gel was still there). So my tip is to first apply the Super Whitener Gel on the bottom teeth because that's where the saliva pools and then apply the Gel on the upper teeth last. :)

I also like that it didn't cause any tooth sensitivity. I have sensitive teeth so this is a plus for me. There were also no other side effects for me.

What I did was 2 sessions in the morning and 2 sessions in the evening for 2 days and this is the result after the second day.

I noticed that my teeth did become lighter but not that white (as in the bond paper white like other people have). I am not aiming for the bond paper-white teeth but for a lighter shade. Here is a zoomed picture of my teeth.

After just 2 days of using the Luster Premium Distinctly White Dual-Action Whitening System, I can definitely say that it is effective enough for an in-home whitening system. :) I like it because it is very easy to use and didn't cause any problems for me. :)

Kashi All Natural Hummus Chips Review #GotItFree

As a member of BzzAgent, I was invited to try and do a review for the Kashi Hummus Crisps. I received the Sea Salt and Olive Oil flavor. I was excited and happy to try it because it has at least 3 grams of protein, at least 3 grams of fiber, at least 5 grams of whole grains, no partially hydrogenated oils, no high fructose corn syrup and no artificial anything! There are also 2 other flavors you can try. The Sundried Tomato Basil & Feta and the Caramelized Onion.

Now for the review of the taste, the flavor is less than the chips I regularly buy. I let my 2 and 5 year old daughter try this but they didn't like it so in my opinion, this is for older people. I can also say that it is fresh and crunchy. :) I also liked it more when I tried dipping it to ranch dressing to add more flavor to it.

Kroger Deli Fried Chicken Review

I have 2 daughters with very different personalities as well as eating habits. My elder daughter who just turned 5 is a very picky eater. She doesn't like many foods. My 2 year old on the other hand eats everything. She eats anything I give her and doesn't mind eating vegetables and she loves fruits. Despite their differences on food choices, they both love fried chicken. They would eat a lot whenever fried chicken is served.

As a member of BzzAgent, I was given a free coupon for an 8 pc. Kroger Deli fried chicken, a free product coupon for the Kroger chips and a free product coupon for any 1.25 L Coca-cola product. I was excited to try the chicken the most. My daughters were excited as well and couldn't wait to taste it.

I love that the chicken stayed fresh and the taste isn't too salty. It was just right for me. It was perfect with white rice. The meat of the fried chicken was juicy and soft. My daughters loved it too. They ate more than what they eat and I'm very happy with that. The chicken also stayed fresh until we got home. The size of the fried chicken was pretty big too (specially the thighs).

Review on MorningStar Farms Veggie Burgers (BzzAgent)

I was lucky enough to be on a BzzCampaign for Morningstar Farms. I was given a Free product coupon and money-saving coupons to hand out to friends and families. There are a lot of Veggie alternatives to choose from but I chose the MorningStar Grillers Prime Veggie Burgers to try with my family.

I'd like to keep it plain so I fried the veggie patties with a little bit of cooking oil and then served it hot with white rice and mayonnaise for dipping. You can try other Morningstar Farms recipes here http://www.morningstarfarms.com/recipe-search.html

What I like about it is that it is a healthier alternative to meat burgers and the taste is okay. The texture is a bit different from meat burgers because it is too grinded. The taste is different from meat burgers. Personally, I would prefer the taste and texture of meat burgers but we can still get used to the taste of the veggie burgers knowing that it is healthier and a great alternative.

Covergirl Blast flipstick Review from BzzAgent

As I have posted in my previous reviews, I am a BzzAgent and this time I've joined the campaign for the Covergirl Blast Flipstick. I am really picky on the color of lipstick I wear and was excited to learn that I was invited for this campaign. I received 3 Covergirl blast flipsticks (vixen, minx and stunner) and some valuable coupons. I insantly liked the Vixen and the Stunner but gave the Minx to my friend. Here are the things I loved about the Covergirl Blast Flipstick:

1. I loved that it is blendable because I can mix and match colors instantly. The 2 colors on each lipstick complement each other and I didn't have to think of what colors to match.

2. Now I used it when I felt adventurous and mixed the Vixen and the Stunner and still, the colors blended and complemented each other. Here is a picture of me with the Vixen (cream) and Stunner (Shimmery) blend.

3. I like the scent of the flipsticks. I can't distinguish what scent it is but I definitely have smelled it when I was younger (maybe one of my toys? :))

4. I like that it is thinner than other lipsticks because I definitely can put it easier than other thicker lipsticks.

5. It lasts for a very long time. I've eaten and drank (from a cup) and still the Covergirl blast flipstick was still there. Not as vibrant as the first application but still there. :)

Now I really like this New Covergirl Blast flipstick and would definitely look for other shades in the market. Imagine there are 13 different shades that complement each other! And the SRP is just $8.49.

BIC Soleil Savvy from BzzAgent

Have you ever used a razor and feel frustrated afterwards? I have! I've used several razors and all of them gives the same result. Unsmooth skin and sometimes small cuts.

I've been using razors for several years now and I must say I don't get the results I want. There are always these tiny little prickly hair that stays on my skin even after I shave. I am too scared to try waxing because I think it's painful (have you watched the prank tv shows or the movies?!).

Now I have been given the opportunity to try the BIC Soleil Savvy razor and I must say I'm excited to try it. BzzAgent sent me this sample plus some coupons I'll hand out to my friends and relatives. Can you see the pink color and the cool shape of the BIC Soleil Savvy?! That's what I noticed about it first! :) I love the color pink and this color suits me. :) Now as for the review. I have yet to try this and will update this blog as soon as I use it. :)

Review on Smooth N Shine Keratin Power Hair Tamer from BzzAgent

I received my Smooth N Shine Keratin Power Hair Tamer from BzzAgent the other day and I am excitd to try it (now I have to find the time to apply it to myself). Here is a picture of what BzzAgent sent me.

I forgot to add the coupons they sent me. There's 1 $5 off coupon and a couple of $2 off coupons. Here is a picture of my before hair.

It is a bit wavy and a little fluffy and a little bit dry. This is how it looks after I've blow-dried it so it is much wavier and unruly when I just let it air dry. I will post pictures of my hair after I use the Smooth N Shine Keratin Power Hair Tamer. :)

As you can see in the 2 pictures, there is a BIG difference. My hair now feels smoother and of course it is straighter. It looks natural and it is shinier. It didn't weigh my hair down unlike my previous trips to the salon where I got my hair relaxed. It is a great product and I will use it again. :)

BIC(R) Soleil(R) Savvy Razor BzzAgent Campaign

Anybody tired of having unwanted hair in their body? I sure am. I have been using razors since I wanted to remove unwanted hair because (1) I haven't tried waxing (it seems painful from the looks on movies and TV shows. Now who would agree to this?) and (2) it is the most convenient way for me. Now the problem with using a razor, often times, I can't achieve the feeling of smooth skin (because there's always a little bit of hair left sticking out). I do believe I'm doing it the right way. Now when I saw this campaign (which is my 3rd campaign as a BzzAgent) I accepted it without hesitation because I saw the way it looks (which is very girly and pink) and I love it! :) I am excited to try it and am excited for the results. I will update you on this once I receive my sample. :)

Smooth N Shine Polishing Keratin Power BzzAgent Campaign

I am a member of BzzAgent and this is my 2nd campaign. This is about the Smooth "n Shine Keratin Power Semi-Permanent Hair Tamer.

My hair is a bit wavy. Not curly but wavy and fluffy. Now why am I excited about this and blogging it here? Well,, based on my experience, I have gone to salons several times to have my hair relaxed, rebonded or straightened with chemicals. Now everytime I have these done, after a few days (okay 4 days at the most) my hair returns back to its wavy texture. I don't know why that happens but other people I know who have their hair relaxed or straightened or rebonded maintains their hair or their hair stays the same. Now for my hair, I won't comment (LOL). Maybe it has a mind of its own. :)

So now, I am into this campaign and I am excited to receive the free sample and try to use it. Take note, this is the first time I'm going to use this and the first time I'm going to do it by myself. I am exited to see the results because I've heard good things about this (crossing my fingers). :) So I would write my experience as soon as I receive the free sample BzzAgent sent me. :)
