EASY-OFF® Heavy Duty Oven Cleaner is specially formulated to handle your worst messes. The formula penetrates tough baked-on grease and cleans the oven - in as little as 5 minutes! Its expert deep-cleaning formula dissolves tough oven grease & food spills and wipes away easily.

MY REVIEW:

** Pictures of my oven-cleaning adventure to follow. :)

I've cleaned our oven several times already with several oven cleaners from the dollar store. They work well but what I don't like about it was the fumes and the scent of the cleaner. The fumes make me cough and I couldn't use our oven for quite some time after cleaning it to let the scent of the cleaner clear out.

I was so excited when I was selected for the EASY-OFF Oven Cleaner because our oven is in need of cleaning.

I so wanted to try the Fume Free Easy-Off Oven Cleaner but I felt like the Heavy Duty Easy-Off Oven Cleaner is more helpful for the current condition of my oven now.

Using the Easy-Off Heavy Duty Oven Cleaner is super easy and although I did smell a bit of a scent when I used it, the scent and fumes is much less than the oven cleaners I've used before. I love how easy it was for me to wipe and scrape the burnt and dried up drips of oils and sauces on our oven. I didn't have to scrub hard and I like how the scent of the cleaner didn't linger inside our oven. It made our oven look clean and almost new again and as I've said, I love how the scent is less irritating than our previous oven cleaner.

MY REVIEW:

I'm already familiar with Dimetapp because my mom used to give this to us when we were younger to help with our stuffy nose. I am familiar with Dimetapp's taste and I remember this is one of he medicine I didn't make a fuss about when I take it.

I got to sample the Children's Dimetapp's Cold & Cough free from Smiley360. As a mom of 2 girls now, I trust products which I've known and used when I was younger. Although my 6 year old daughter haven't had the chance to use the Children's Dimetapp Cold & Cough Smiley360 sent me, I've given this medicine to her before. I actually have a bottle in my medicine cabinet because my 6 year old daughter has seasonal allergies. This helps relieve congested and stuffy nose at night to help her sleep better. The taste is the same as before (yes I tasted it a bit) and she has no problems with the taste. In fact, she likes the taste and tells me it taste great.

Have you given Dimetapp to your child? This is for children age 6 and over only. If you have any questions, please ask your health care provider before giving any new medication to your child.

Tazo Chai Sampling For Smiley360 #SweetMeetsSpicy

TazoChai.jpg
I'm more of a coffee person than tea but sometimes, I crave for tea. I prefer drinks over ice more over hot but at times, specially during the colder months, I switch to hot drinks to keep me warm.

As a member of Smiley360, I was so excited when I got accepted to try the Tazo Chai. My Smiley Kit contained the following:

• Full-value coupon for any TAZO® Chai filterbag tea or latte concentrate
• Two full-value coupons for any TAZO® Chai filterbag tea or latte concentrate to share with your closest friends or family
• TAZO® Chai tasting guide
• 1 TAZO® Classic Chai filterbag, 1 TAZO® Chocolate Chai filterbag and 1 TAZO® Vanilla Caramel Chai filterbag

For my full value coupon, I claimed the Chocolate Latte and bought the Pumpkin Spice Latte. I couldn't wait to try these at home hot and over ice.
The Tazo Chai Chocolate Latte has a sweet cocoa taste with a hint of cinnamon. Mixing it with half portion tea and half portion milk is a bit too strong for me so what I do is I put 1/3 part of the Tazo Chai Chocolate Latte to 2/3 part milk. I either add ice for an iced drink or put it in the microwave to warm it up for a hot drink. :)
I bought the Tazo Chai Pumpkin Spice Latte because I like the taste of the Pumpkin Spice Creamer from International Delight. I wanted to see if the taste of the Tazo Chai is similar to the creamer.

The Tazo Chai Pumpkin Spice Latte has a more spicier taste than the Chocolate Latte. I actually found it too overpowering so I mixed 1/4 part of the Pumpkin Spice Latte  to 3/4 part milk. Then, I either added ice for an iced drink or put it in the microwave for a hot drink.

Between the two, I like the Chocolate Latte more because it has a sweeter less spicier taste.

What I like about these is that they are concentrated so I only need a little amount for my drink. The lattes taste good in both hot and iced drinks. I can easily prepare them and bring them on the go. :)

My Smiley360 Mission: Try The Sleep Number Sleep IQ Technology

As a member of Smiley360, I get to try new products for free. For this Smiley360 mission, I had to visit a Sleep Number store and try out their Sleep IQ Technology and if I successfully complete my mission, I will be getting a free CoolFit™ Foam Contour Pillow. I waited for my Smiley360 Sleep IQ Mission card in the mail before I went to the Sleep Number Store near us (Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga, CA).

So today, we finally went to the Sleep Number Store near us. I brought hubby and my 2 daughters with me. I was kind of worried before stepping into the store because I thought I'd be pressured to by a new bed.

As I stepped inside the Sleep Number Store, I was greeted by a girl and I handed her my Smiley360 SleepIQ mission card. She read it quickly and gave the card to "Travis" who read the card again. He smiled warmly and told me that this is the first time he saw this card. I explained to him that I am a member of Smiley360 and I was on a mission to try the Sleep IQ Technology. He asked me if I am in the market for a new bed or just wanted to try the Sleep IQ Technology. I told him I just wanted to try it and was relieved that no sales talk came up after that.

"Travis" led me to one of the Sleep IQ Technology bed (I forgot to ask what model that was!). I really wanted to document and take pictures while trying the Sleep IQ Technology bed but they said I can't do that. So, I lied down and he proceeded to explain to me how the Sleep IQ Technology works and how it's different than foam and spring mattresses. The mattress by the way, started out very firm (set up to the highest setting which is 100). He told me that because of the exclusive Sleep Number Dual Air technology, I can adjust the firmness on each side of the mattress. How cool is that?! Hubby likes his bed firm (like a floor board) and mine a bit soft. So I was hooked on this feature. Then he showed me the wireless controller which quietly adjusts the firmness of the bed. The lower the number, the softer the bed.

He then demonstrated how the bed works. He told me that he would lower the setting on the controller slowly until I find my "Sleep Number setting". I learned that my Sleep Number setting was "20". Haha. Yes, as I've said, I do like my bed a bit soft. :)

Then, he set the setting up to highest level again to show me how my back looks like when I lie down to a firm mattress. This next feature amazed me because the Sleep Number Sleep IQ Technology bed has a sensor. On the monitor beside the bed, I saw that with the highest setting, my upper back has a bluish color (which is ideal), I have a thin blue line on the groove of my back and a reddish color (which isn't ideal) on my lower back. He captured that image and proceeded to lower the Sleep Number setting to my Sleep Number Setting to my number. As he lowered the Sleep Number Setting, the bluish color became evenly distributed and the thin line before for the groove of my back appeared thicker. The red color for my lower back also turned light yellow in the middle and bluish on the sides.

He also showed me the side view of how the bed looks like with the highest/most firm setting and my Sleep Number setting. I can see a big difference between lying down flat on a firm mattress and the way the Sleep Number Sleep IQ Technology bed accommodated and conformed to the curves of my back. Travis asked me if I wanted my Sleep Number Setting emailed to me and of course I said sure. :)

After trying out the Sleep Number Sleep IQ Technology, I can say I was amazed and in awe of how high-tech this technology and bed is.  Our bed is so outdated that it looks ancient compared to the Sleep Number SleepIQ Technology bed.

Travis was so nice to show me how it works and I was glad I visited my Sleep Number Store today. So a big thank you to Travis! :)

Here is a little more something about the Sleep IQ Technology:

The Sleep Number® bed is the only bed that lets you track and optimize your sleep with SleepIQ™ technology. Sensors work directly with Sleep Number® DualAir™ technology inside the Sleep Number bed to measure your average breathing rate, average heart rate and movement to track how you’re sleeping.
SleepIQ™ technology provides a simple and intuitive way to know more about your sleep. It tracks your sleep and provides information you can use to make adjustments to your SLEEP NUMBER® setting or daily routine. Best of all, it empowers you so you can achieve your best possible sleep, night after night.

Quilted Northern Ultra Soft & Strong Tissue Paper Review

If budget is not an issue for us, I would always buy the Quilted Northern Ultra Soft and Strong tissue paper. I've tried other tissue papers but for me, nothing compares to Quilted Northern. Softness is the first thing I look for in a tissue paper and among all the tissue paper brands I've tried, Quilted Northern would be the softest for me. It's also strong and thick.

I was super excited because as a member of Smiley 360, I was one of the members chosen to receive 2 free product coupons for a free Quilted Northern Ultra Soft and Strong Tissue Paper, some mints, hand sanitizers and some $2 off coupons. I've used Quilted Northern before and this would be my favorite brand among all the tissues.

The Quilted Northern is definitely thicker than the brand I'm using now considering they're both 2-ply rolls but because of our budget, I couldn't always buy the Quilted Northern. The price difference is too big for me to choose the Quilted Northern tissue paper considering the fact and reality that we just flush it down the toilet. If I see it on sale (which is not quite often), that's the time I pick some up and stock up.

Because we're on a budget, I pick the softest and thickest tissue paper within our budget. I may not always buy the Quilted Northern Ultra Soft and Strong Tissue Paper because of the price but I am definitely hands down on its quality.

You can also sign-up to become a Smiley360 member and receive free products to try. Sign-up here to try it. It's free! :)

CAREFREE Acti-fresh Liners Review

Since I had my first "period",  I usually have it for 5 to 7 days and sometimes longer. I would usually wear the long overnight pads with wings for the first 2 to 3 days because my "period" is very heavy. I usually change 3 to 4 times a day and my pads would really be soaked. Around the 5th day of my period (it would be much lighter), I would get rashes due to the wings of the pads. I can't use pads without wings because based on my experience, they would not stay in place and it can get messy. That's when I discovered Carefree Acti-Fresh Liners.

I was very happy to have found out about the Carefree Acti-fresh liners because they're so thin and they stay in place! I don't have to worry about the remaining "lighter" days of my period because I can skip the pads with wings and use the CareFree Acti-fresh liners. IT saves me from the allergies and rashes I get every month because of teh extended use of the pads with wings. It doesn't move around like the liners I used before and it doesn't crinkle-up in the middle too (you'll know what I'm talking about if you've experienced it too). Plus, I can barely feel it's there. :)

Carefree Acti-fresh liners are available at Walmart, Target, CVS, etc. You can check if they're available near you here. Right now, they have a $0.50 off coupon you can print to save money.

OxiClean™ 2in1 Stain Fighter plus Color Safe Brightener Review

Being a mom to 2 girls (ages 2 and 5), it would be a surprise if their clothes are stain-free and dirt-free at the end of the day. 99% of the time (and I am not exaggerating :)), their clothes would either be stained with food or get dirty with something from I don't know where. I have a hard time specially with their clothes because most of the time, stains from the food they spill on their clothes wouldn't come off. I would have to pretreat their stained clothes before the stains would come off and sometimes, the stains never come off.

As a member of Smiley360, I was given the chance to try the OxiClean 2in1 Stain Fighter plus Color Safe Brightener. I added it to my laundry detergent to test it's stain fighting power. I added OxiClean 2in1 Stain Fighter plus Color Safe Brightener (filled it up to 3/8 of the cup or up to line 3 for large loads) to my usual laundry detergent.

Here are some of the clothes of my daughters before I washed it. I didn't do any pretreatment for the stains on their clothes.

After the wash cycle, here are the pictures of their newly washed clothes. :)

Oh yay! The stains were gone. :) I also noticed the brighter color (for the colored clothes) and the whiter color (for the whites) of the clothes. I also loved it because I didn't pretreat their clothes and the result was still great. The price is pricier ($8.95 per 66 oz. bottle of the OxiClean 2in1) than the stain fighter I used before (the boxed one in powder form) but the results are a lot better. :) So I will definitely use this for my 2 daughters' clothes because their clothes need all the stain fighting power they need and would use the cheaper one (the powdered one) for me and my hubby's clothes. :)

Aveeno Nourish+ Dandruff Control Shampoo and Conditioner Review

I've always had problems with dandruff. When I use a shampoo that's wrong for me, I would definitely get those dandruff. I have to use an anti-dandruff shampoo once in a while to control my dandruff.

The problem with the anti-dandruff shampoo I previously used, it makes my hair drier and harder to comb specially when I step out of the shower. I have to use a conditioner to make it more manageable and easier to comb but still, it feels stiffer and it tangles more easily.

I've had the chance to try Aveeno Active Natural Nourish+Dandruff control shampoo and conditioner. I'm happy because I can use it everyday and still, my hair feels softer and the scent is really great. The scent stays on my hair the whole day. What I noticed is that I had to use it a few days to see the dandruff control effect on my scalp.

Here is a $3.00 off coupon for a purchase of the new Aveeno Active Natural Nourish+Dandruff control shampoo or conditioner which you can print to save. :)

You can also like Aveeno on facebook to know about their products.

If you want to sign up for Smiley360 and receive free products too, you can do it here.

Seventh Generation products review

I always love it when I discover new products my family would love. I've been given the chance to try 6 different products from Seventh Generation.

First is the Seventh Generation Baby Shampoo and Wash. I used this on my 2 year old daughter and I love the light citrus scent. It is made with extra virgin olive oil and is gentle, natural and hypoallergenic. My daughter like the smell too and left her hair smelling fresh and citrusy after bath.

The next product I tried is the Seventh Generation Baby lotion. Like the Baby shampoo and wash, it also has a light citrus scent. I like that it didn't leave any greasy feeling on the skin like other lotions does. It left my daughter's skin soft and lightly scented. It is also made with olive oil and is gentle and hypoallergenic.

I also got a sample of their Seventh Generation baby Natural 4x detergent. It has a light lemon-y smell and it is hypoallergenic and gluten free. I tried it on my daughter's white clothes and I like that it cleans well.

Next sample is the Seventh Generation Mandarin Nourishing Body wash. Of course I was excited to try it on me. I like the light citrus scent and I like that my skin felt soft after using it.

I also tried their Seventh Generation Lavender moisturizing lotion. I like the calming and relaxing lavender scent of the lotion. I like that this lotion is non-greasy.

Last but not the least, I got to try the Seventh Generation Mandarin Refreshing Facial Clothes. The facial cloth is super soft! I like that it cooled down my face specially with the warmer weather the past days. It made my face looking fresh and hydrated. I definitely recommend this and love the light citrus scent too.

Overall, I love the products I tested and would definitely buy more. :) You can also find more Seventh Generation products here. For more savings, you can get a 20% off code for Seventh Generation products here.

I am a member of Smiley360 and got Seventh Generation trial/sample size products to review. All opinions are honest and my own. Pictures shown here are full sizes and I received trial/sample sizes only. No other compensation was received. You can learn more about my mission and Smiley360 here.

Campbell's Go Coconut Curry with Chicken and Shitake Mushrooms Review

I admit it. As a stay-at-home mom of 2 girls, there are times when I feel too lazy to prepare and cook our meals from scratch so I look for other alternative food in the market that are easy to prepare and at the same time healthy and of course should taste good.

I was given the chance to review the Campbell's Go Coconut Curry With Chickenand Shitake Mushrooms. I was sent a free product to taste. Here is the actual product sent to me.

I was glad of the flavor because I love curry dishes. I also noticed that the packaging is nice and the preparation time is really fast. You just have to cut along the line at the back (I didn't even use a scissors to cut it. It was very easy to cut using my hand) and then microwave on high for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes.

I instantly smelled the curry flavoring as soon as I opened it. It smelled very good and nice.

I microwaved it for 2 minutes and then transferred it to a bowl.

I wanted to try it with rice so I put it on a plate with white rice.

I expected it to taste like other out of the pouch food products I've tried before but to my surprise, it tasted great! I love the curry taste. It was perfect for me. I also love the vegetables in it. I didn't expect them to be so crunchy and fresh tasting.

Overall, I would definitely buy more of these flavor. There are 6 flavors available:

  • Moroccan Style Chicken with Chickpeas
  • Golden Lentil with Madras Curry
  • Creamy Red Pepper with Smoked Gouda
  • Coconut Curry with Chicken and Shitake Mushrooms
  • Chicken & Quinoa with Poblano Chilies
  • Spicy Chorizo and Pulled Chicken with Black Beans
You can find more information for the Campbell's Go Soup here.

You can also print a $1 off coupon so you can save money.

**I am a member of Smiley360 and I was provided with a free full-sized sample to facilitate my review. No other compensation was given. This is my own honest opinion of the product sent to me.

Children's Mucinex Multi-Symptom Cold Review for Smiley360

When my daughters have the cold or stuffy nose, their moods change a lot as though they're different persons. Their sweetness and their sunny nature completely changes into a moody person. I feel bad for them everytime they have a stuffy nose and/or cough. They have allergies all through out the year that often leads to colds. I am very excited to have tried the Children's Mucinex Multi-cold symptom medicine for my 4 year old daughter. She liked the sweet berry taste very much unlike other cold medicine that has the bitter taste in them. I am also very surprised that it is very fast-acting. I have used store brands before because they're cheaper but now, I wouldn't hesitate to buy the Children's mucinex specially now that I've tried it and I've seen the difference.

Right now Mucinex is offering a $2 off coupon on any Children's Mucinex product

If you are unsure about using Children’s Mucinex® Multi-Symptom Cold liquid for your child, talk to your pediatrician.

Please call the toll free number 1-866-MUCINEX (1-866-682-4639) if you have any product related questions.

Infant's Advil review for Smiley360

Being a mom of 2 girls, a 4 year old and a 23 month old, I have noticed that they have really different reactions when I try to give them medicine. I don't have a problem with my 4 year old when it comes to drinking medicine but it's a different story for my 23 month old. I have to run after her and force her to drink the medicine. She often gags and cries whenever I give her medicine. When she had a fever, I tried giving her the Infants' Advil White Grape Flavor (for 6 - 23 month old). She readily took it without any hesitation. I tried tasting a bit of it and what I noticed is that it's has a nice sweet taste. Even I like the taste. I was glad she liked the taste. The second thing I liked about it is that it is concentrated. It comes with it's own measuring syringe and since it's concentrated, she only needed a small amount. Third thing I like about it is that it is Dye-Free and Alcohol-Free. Fourth thing I like about it is that I only have to give it once every 6 to 8 hours for her fever. It kept her fever down longer. You can check out more information about Advil Infants' Drops here http://smiley360.com/1143955.cfm

If you have tried the Infants' Advil or the Children's Advil, you can answer this survey and get a chance to win a $200 gift card. :)

*I received a full size sample and coupons from Smiley360 for me to review the Infants' Advil Drops. Please consult your doctor or pharmacist if you haven't given them this medicine before.
