8 Bay/Slot AA/AAA Ni-MH Ni-Cd LCD Fast Charger Smart Battery Charger Review

I use rechargeable batteries specially on our camera. I like to have an extra set specially when we go out for a long trip. I have a basic charger for my rechargeable batteries and it takes about 8 hours for our rechargeable batteries to get fully charged. I've had this charger for about 3 years already and I was glad I got to try Sunlabz' Fast Battery Charger.
Before trying out the Sunlabz' Fast Battery Charger, I read the directions at the back first and see if our rechargeable batteries are compatible. I have the Sanyo Eneloop Rechargeable batteries and was glad that it was compatible with this charger.
The Sunlabz' Fast Battery Charger has the following features:
  •  LCD equipped Smart Charger for 1-8 cells AA/AAA NIMH/NICD rechargeable batteries
  • Advanced IC/Delta-V (Δ-v) control function
  • Over heating, over Current and Short Circuit protection. Defective battery detection
  • 8 Individual Charging Channels. LCD screen indicates individual charging status
  • Input: 12V - 1000mA || Output: AA1.2V x 8 - 500mA / AAA 1.2Vx8 - 250 mA
I love the LCD display of the Sunlabz' Fast Battery Charger. I can see the charging status of each individual battery. I neither have to guess if our rechargeable batteries are fully charged already nor rely on the blinking lights to see if all the batteries have been fully charged already. I like the blue-colored back light on the LCD screen because I can easily see the display.

I also like how I can charge both AA and AAA batteries on the Sunlabz Fast Battery Charger. I can charge up to 8 batteries at the same time which saves me time. I also like how faster it charges the rechargeable batteries. It only took about 5 hours to fully charge the batteries compared to the 8 hour charging time in our old battery charger.

You can purchase the Sunlabz' Fast Battery Charger on Amazon.

    1. The Panasonic Advanced charger (for Eneloops) has a charging output of 1.5 VDC. The Sunlabz 8 bay has a charging output of 1.2 VDC. I'm not certain if the Eneloops will fully charge.
