NeeBooFit 6 Piece Resistance Loop Band Review + Giveaway 4/13 US

I came upon resistance bands last year and I can't believe how easy they are to use and how effective they are in giving resistance to help tone different parts of my body. Although I'm not yet toned (and still far from it), I like using these to help me have resistance when I squat as well as use it for arm toning.

Since we live in an apartment, I like having small, portable and accessible workout accessories to help me tone and burn fat more effectively. I don't go to a gym to lift weights and we can't really get a big exercise equipment at home so, the smaller the workout accessories, the better.

Unlike my previous resistance loop band, the NeeBooFit Resistance Loop Band Set includes 6 color-coded resistance loop bands. Each color has a different level of resistance which is as follows:

Green: Light
Blue: Medium
Yellow: Heavy
Red: X-Heavy
Black: XX-Heavy
Orange: XXX-Heavy

The NeeBooFit Resistance Loop Bands also came with a carrying pouch and instructions on what exercises I can do with the resistance loop bands. Each resistance loop band measure 12 inches in diameter and 2 inches in width.

I love using these bands when I do squats and bicep curls. I also tried to do rows by attaching the NeeBooFit medium and heavy loop band on my exercise handles (not included in the box) and it worked fine for me. I used a greater resistance on my left arm since it's weaker than my right arm.

The NeeBooFit Resistance Loop Bands are easy to use. I don't need much space, in fact I only need a little space, to use these bands. It effectively gives me the resistance I need similar to lifting weights. They're much lighter (all of them together wouldn't even weigh 1 lb!) but I can feel my muscles working when I use them.

I like how portable they are because I can bring them on the go or store them easily. They are also durable because they haven't snapped or broke yet and the bands return to their original, looks like new, state.

These are great to use for those starting to tone and strengthen their muscles. For me, the medium and heavy bands are just right for my arms while the X-Heavy band is great to use when I squat. I like these bands and can't wait to move on to the next level of resistance.

Lingerie And Delicates Laundry Bag For Laundry Review + Giveaway 3/31 US/CAN

I use a laundry bag for my underwear, delicates and my daughters' tights and leggings to protect them from being entangled with other clothes. This helps prolong their lives and ensure that they wouldn't be damaged in the washing machine as well as in the dryer.

I already have a couple of laundry bags but they don't seem enough for us. We're a family of 4 so, with all the clothes we have and go through per week, I could always use another bag for our delicates and underwear.

When I received the IX Better Home Lingerie Laundry Bag, the first thing I noticed was the pink zipper. I mean, it was pretty cute and it goes well with the white mesh bag.

I received the medium laundry bag and it measures 12 x 16 inches. It is made of a fine, soft mesh which isn't stretchable. The small holes on the mesh ensures the water and soap comes in and out of the bag to reach the clothes inside the bag.

The baby pink zipper opens and closes smoothly and it has a garter at the closing end to keep the zipper in placed when inside the washing machine. It also keeps the zipper away from other clothes to prevent it from being caught into the other clothes inside the washing machine.

What I like about this laundry bag is that I can fit a couple of pieces of delicates/lingerie/underwear in 1 time. Depending on the sizes of the clothes I place inside, it can hold 1 delicate camisole or a couple of smaller pieces of underwear.

This doesn't have any scent and the seam is cleanly sewn. It's also durable because after using it for a lot of cycles already, it still has its original form. I wouldn't fill this laundry bag up with clothes though, because the clothes inside wouldn't be properly washed.

This is perfectly safe inside the dryer as well and the clothes inside dry up fine too.

This is such a big help for me to prolong our delicates like leggings, tights and delicate fabric as well as underwear and lingerie. I can also use it for our socks so that I wouldn't lose a pair of sock when I was them.

I fell in love with using Vitamin C Serum when I first tried one last year. Now, it is one of the constant and daily serum I use because they're gentle and they're effective.

The serum has a subtle orange color and has a subtle citrus-y scent. It has a thinner than gel-like consistency and is cool on the skin. I use this once every night and it absorbs quickly, doesn't feel greasy or heavy.

I use this once every night. After cleansing my face and apply my toner, I apply a small amount of the Imbue Naturals 20% Vitamin C Serum all over my face and neck. I then follow it up with my moisturizer.

What I like about this Vitamin C Serum is the added benefits of the Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E and the Amino Complex. Using the Imbue Naturals helped lessen my acne breakouts and kept my skin less oilier than usual. Since I just swapped this out with my old Vitamin C Serum, I like how this continued to make my skin appear brighter and prevent my acne scars from appearing darker.

The bottle is small but since I only need a small amount every application, it'll last for quite some time.

I've never owned a moscow mule mug before so I looked forward to trying the Moscow Mule Copper Mug by Kitchen Concepts. I've never tasted a Moscow Mule before but I was set on trying this as a juice mug.

The Moscow Mule Copper Mug is pretty and for me, perfect for an iced cold drink.The cup holds 16 ounces of liquid and it's the perfect size for me. It is double-walled so it keeps the drink cold longer.

I like the look and feel of the copper mug because it's light. I do have to dry it every time I hand wash it because it retains water spots if not dried immediately.

So far, I haven't had any issues with a lingering taste or scent on the mug and it still looks like new.

Blupure 13 Stage Countertop Water Filter Review

For more than 3 years now, we've been using a popular branded faucet mount water filter. We switched from getting the $0.25 per gallon self-refill to a home water filter because it's more convenient and we actually save even a little. The problem with the faucet mount water filter we have at home is that the faucet mount's indicator light breaks down in less than 2 years. We also have to change the filter once every 2 to 3 months depending on how much water we filter. Our second faucet mount just broke down and the indicator light isn't working anymore so I was glad to receive the Blupure 13 Stage Countertop Water Filter to try.

The Blupure 13 Stage Countertop Water Filter arrived in a box. The first thing I noticed was that this is way bigger and heavier than our faucet mount water filter. I love the idea of a 13-stage filter though because I had a feeling that this will be more effective in filtering our water.

It was very easy to install the Blupure 13 Stage Countertop Water Filter. I actually couldn't wait for hubby to come home so I experimented and tried to assemble it on my own. I was successful enough and in about 5 minutes, I was able to set it up on our kitchen sink. The filter is already set up inside the big, white container and I only needed to plug in the faucet adapter of the water filter to our kitchen faucet and I was ready to try it.


What I love about this is that the faucet adapter isn't heavy so it doesn't weigh our kitchen faucet down. The big, white part which filters the water is connected to a tube so I conveniently placed it on the side of our sink. I also like how the knob on the side of the faucet adapter easily switches to normal tap water and to filtered water.

Prior to filling up our recycled milk jugs turned water containers with filtered water, I first let the water on the filter counter top flow for about 5 minutes. The initial water is brownish and muddy in color BUT do not panic. Our old faucet mount water filter also does this whenever we change to a new filter. :)

After 5 minutes of letting the water flow on the water filter, I grabbed a cup and tasted the water. It tasted crisp and fresh and free from any metallic or weird taste. I can't stand drinking water which have a weird taste so I'm happy with the Blupure 13 stage countertop water filter.

Every time I use the Blupure Water Filter to filter our water, I let it flow for about 2 minutes first to ensure that the water which was left on the filter goes out. I do this because our old faucet mount requires a 2 minute flowing water first to ensure all the old water inside the water filter goes out first.

The only problem I notice is that there is no indicator for the water filter or when to change it. I made a note on my calendar on when I installed this since it says the filter is good for a year. But then, our water consumption varies daily (I use the filtered water for cooking, drinking, baking, etc) so it'd be more nicer if there is an indicator if we needed to change the filter already.

Other than that, I love the Blupure 13Stage countertop water filter because it's easy to install, no drilling holes required, easy to use and gives us a fresh and crisp tasting water.

Age Defense Neck Cream By Body Merry Review

 For the past few months, I've noticed that there are already lines on my neck. They're a shade darker than my skin tone and the more I look at them, the more I notice them. They're not annoying and I'm thinking it's because I'm getting older but I like to see if something would make the lines lighter and in the long run, disappear.

I apply this on my neck at night after cleansing my face and neck. I apply a dime-sized cream all around my neck and massage it for about 30 seconds to ensure the cream has been absorbed. It is quickly absorbed so I like that too.

I noticed a difference on the shade of the lines on my neck about 1 1/2 weeks after using the neck cream by Body Merry daily. The lines appear lighter but haven't really disappeared yet. I am happy that they're less noticeable (at least for me). They haven't completely disappeared so I'm hoping they would in the long run.

Since I only apply a little amount once a day, the bottle still feels heavy so this would last for a long time.
