Charcoal Bamboo 5-Layer Cloth Diaper Insert Liners From Pandaroos Review

Pandaroos_BAmboo_Charcoal_Diaper_Insert_Liners.jpg
When my daughters were younger, I would sometimes use a cotton pre-fold cloth diaper (with pins to secure them) specially when their bums need to breathe and take a break from disposable diapers. Honestly, I mostly used disposable diapers because they're more convenient to use although I know that cloth diapers are more bum and eco-friendly.

I was given the chance to review the Pandaroos 5-Layer Charcoal Bamboo Cloth Diaper Insert Liners and here is a short product description from them:

Package includes 6 of the charcoal bamboo diaper inserts and a wet bag.  The Pandaroo diaper inserts gives your the best of both worlds - no need to choose between softness and dryness.  The charcoal bamboo fleece outer layers are soft against your baby's skin while wicking moisture away and into the 3 layer microfiber core.  Charcoal bamboo is naturally deodorizing, something anyone with a baby in diapers will appreciate.  It is also naturally dark in color, hiding unsightly stains.  And charcoal bamboo has anti-bacterial properties as well.  All of that on the outside of the insert, but what about the inside? The microfiber core absorbs the moisture and keeps it away from your baby's bottom.   Face it - babies make messes, and the gussets on these inserts provide another layer of defense to keep the mess from spilling out.  When out and about you need a way of keeping the soiled diapers and clothes separate.  The wet bag is just you need.  Bag has a zipper to keep the wet in and the dry, dry.  A loop with a snap makes it easy to to attach to your stroller.

There is a short and easy to follow product care and instruction on the lower right side of the label.

When I received the Pandaroos' Charcoal Bamboo Cloth Diaper Insert Liners, the first thing I noticed when I got it out of the pouch was the thickness of the diaper inserts. The pre-fold cloth diaper insert I used on my daughters before were a lot thinner compared to these cloth insert liners from Pandaroos. The diaper insert liners measures 13.4 x 10.2 x 1.6 inch.

The Cloth Diaper Insert Liners from Pandaroos has a dark gray color. It has a gusseted legs which is nice to prevent leaks. I like how thick these cloth liners are because it'll help keep wetness and moisture inside. I remember when I used the prefold cloth diapers on my daughters, wetness can be seen and felt on the outside part which is also one of the reasons why I didn't use cloth diapers before. Because these cloth diaper liners from Pandaroos are thicker, I think they're much more absorbent and will keep wetness from seeping through the outer layer of the cloth diaper insert.

The charcoal bamboo fleece outer layers are very soft and I like that charcoal bamboo is known to keep foul odor at bay as well as known for its' anti-bacterial properties.

The wet bag which came with the charcoal bamboo cloth diaper insert has a nice and cute yellow color with animal prints. The inside of the wet bag is lined with a waterproof PUL layer which is perfect to stow away soiled diapers.

This is is a nice set of cloth diaper insert liners and I can't wait to try these out for our next baby. :)

You can purchase the Pandaroos Charcoal Bamboo 5-Layer Cloth Diaper Insert Liners HERE.

Kuuk 24 Piece Neon Colored Silicone Cupcake Molds Review

Kuuk_Silicone_Cupcake_Mold.jpg
We often bake at home because my daughters like cupcakes and muffins, and of course me too. :) We used to use paper liners for our cupcakes but aside from the cupcake sticking to the paper liners (I don't pre-grease because I don't like a greasy cupcake), the paper liners aren't reusable.

Owning a silicone cupcake mold was an eye-opener for me and ever since I've used a silicone cupcake mold, I never returned to paper liners.

When I received the Kuuk Silicone Cupcake Molds, I was so excited to see how the colors are. I love the different colors of silicone cupcake molds because they're cute and they make the cupcake look more pretty.

Here is a quick product description from the company:

Kuuk_Silicone_Cupcake_Mold.jpg
I only needed 12 cupcake molds for my batch of cupcakes but I like that this set has 24 cupcake molds because I can just make bigger batches of muffins and cupcakes when I need to.
Kuuk_Silicone_Cupcake_Mold.jpg
The silicone cupcake molds are flexible and yet they hold the muffin batter very well. I also like that these silicone cupcake molds are durable and versatile. Aside from using it as a cupcake mold, I can also use it as a Jell-O mold, a snack cup for my daughters, and a lot more.
Kuuk_Silicone_Cupcake_Mold.jpg
The best feature I love about the Kuuk Silicone Cupcake Mold is that it's non-stick. I didn't pre-grease the molds and yet, the muffin just came off when I pulled off the silicone mold.

These silicone cups are also very easy to clean and because there are almost no remnants inside the silicone molds, cleaning them is a breeze.

The Kuuk Silicone Cupcake Molds are a nice addition to my baking supply and I love how I can reuse them over and over again. The thickness of the cupcake molds are thicker compared to some of my silicone cupcake molds here at home and I think it's nice.

Blupure 13 Stage Countertop Water Filter Review

BlupureCounterTopWaterFilter.jpg
For more than 3 years now, we've been using a popular branded faucet mount water filter. We switched from getting the $0.25 per gallon self-refill to a home water filter because it's more convenient and we actually save even a little. The problem with the faucet mount water filter we have at home is that the faucet mount's indicator light breaks down in less than 2 years. We also have to change the filter once every 2 to 3 months depending on how much water we filter. Our second faucet mount just broke down and the indicator light isn't working anymore so I was glad to receive the Blupure 13 Stage Countertop Water Filter to try.

The Blupure 13 Stage Countertop Water Filter arrived in a box. The first thing I noticed was that this is way bigger and heavier than our faucet mount water filter. I love the idea of a 13-stage filter though because I had a feeling that this will be more effective in filtering our water.
BlupureCounterTopWaterFilter.jpg
It was very easy to install the Blupure 13 Stage Countertop Water Filter. I actually couldn't wait for hubby to come home so I experimented and tried to assemble it on my own. I was successful enough and in about 5 minutes, I was able to set it up on our kitchen sink. The filter is already set up inside the big, white container and I only needed to plug in the faucet adapter of the water filter to our kitchen faucet and I was ready to try it.

What I love about this is that the faucet adapter isn't heavy so it doesn't weigh our kitchen faucet down. The big, white part which filters the water is connected to a tube so I conveniently placed it on the side of our sink. I also like how the knob on the side of the faucet adapter easily switches to normal tap water and to filtered water.
BlupureCounterTopWaterFilter.jpg
Prior to filling up our recycled milk jugs turned water containers with filtered water, I first let the water on the filter counter top flow for about 5 minutes. The initial water is brownish and muddy in color BUT do not panic. Our old faucet mount water filter also does this whenever we change to a new filter. :)

After 5 minutes of letting the water flow on the water filter, I grabbed a cup and tasted the water. It tasted crisp and fresh and free from any metallic or weird taste. I can't stand drinking water which have a weird taste so I'm happy with the Blupure 13 stage countertop water filter.

Every time I use the Blupure Water Filter to filter our water, I let it flow for about 2 minutes first to ensure that the water which was left on the filter goes out. I do this because our old faucet mount requires a 2 minute flowing water first to ensure all the old water inside the water filter goes out first.

The only problem I notice is that there is no indicator for the water filter or when to change it. I made a note on my calendar on when I installed this since it says the filter is good for a year. But then, our water consumption varies daily (I use the filtered water for cooking, drinking, baking, etc) so it'd be more nicer if there is an indicator if we needed to change the filter already.

Other than that, I love the Blupure 13Stage countertop water filter because it's easy to install, no drilling holes required, easy to use and gives us a fresh and crisp tasting water.

You can purchase the Blupure 13 Stage Countertop Water Filter HERE.

EcoPoof Biodegradable Dog Waste Bags Review

EcoPoofBiodegradableDogWasteBags.jpg
Whenever I see something that's environment friendly, I would rather buy that (if the price is reasonable) to help the environment.

I was recently given the chance to try the  EcoPoof Biodegradable Dog Waste Bags and I was excited to see how it would compare to a regular plastic bag.
EcoPoofBiodegradableDogWasteBags.jpg
The EcoPoof Biodegradable Dog Waste Bags arrived in a brown box. Each box has 8 rolls of green biodegradable waste bags with 15 bags per roll. Each bag is 9 x 13 inches in size.

I've never heard about biodegradable plastic bags but according to the company, these bags are made of D2W technology which helps the bags breakdown without leaving a harmful residue behind. The bags are also polyethylene free.

The biodegradable dog waste bags have a green color but is see-through. It looks thin but it's strong and durable and doesn't tear easily even if I tie the upper portion in a knot.

The only thing I noticed is that these are see-through bags so the waste inside the bag is visible. The green color of the bag help to conceal the waste a bit but the bags are see-through.

Even though they're see-through, I still like them since they're biodegradable.

You can purchase the EcoPoof Bioedgradable Dog Waste Bags HERE.

Set Of 24 Silicone Baking Cups From Home-Complete Review

Home-CompleteSilicone.jpg
My daughters love cupcakes and muffins so I often bake at home. Before, I always use paper liners for our cupcakes and muffins but ever since I used silicone baking cups, I never went back to paper liners.

I have several brands of silicone baking cups and I only look for one thing in them. They have to be non-stick because I don't like pre-greasing liners. All the rest of the features of the silicone muffin liners are a plus for me. :)

I recently received a set of 24 Silicone Baking Cups from Home-Complete and what first caught my attention was that this comes in a set of 24. That means, I can bake larger batches of muffins or cupcakes and the price is just $11.99 for a set of 24.

The Silicone Baking Cups from Home-Complete also came in 6 different neon-colors. The cups are very vibrant and I love how colorful they were. Each silicone liner has a diameter of 2.75 inches and a height of 1.37 inches. That's approximately the size of a regular cupcake/muffin.

Home-CompleteSilicone.jpg
Similar to my other silicone baking cups, these are a bit floppy by itself and flexible BUT they hold cupcake batter and cooked cupcakes very well.
Home-CompleteSilicone.jpg
These silicone liners can be used in the oven and in the freezer. I love how our apple cinnamon cupcake turned out because the sides and the bottom didn't have a burnt color.

Here are the things I loved about the Home-Complete Silicone Baking Cups:
- Comes in a set of 24 so I can bake larger batches of muffins/cupcakes.
- The colors are very vibrant and cute.
- Love the non-stick feature even if I don't pre-grease the liners. Cupcakes/muffins come off with just a slight push from the bottom of the liner.
- I love that I can reuse them over and over again. They're durable and the non-stick feature didn't fade even after using it a couple of times already.
- Easy to clean because there's minimal cupcake residue on the liners. Just a few minutes of soaking removes the cupcake residue and easily comes off once I run it under running water. These are dishwasher safe but I prefer washing our kitchen utensils by hand. :)
- I love how versatile these liners are because I can use them to serve nuts, small snacks and use a Jell-o mold.
- I love how I save from buying paper liners because I can just reuse these. I also help keep the environment cleaner, even if it seems just a bit.

If you love baking and haven't tried silicone baking cups yet, I highly suggest trying them out. :) Home-Complete offers a 100% lifetime satisfaction guarantee with a full refund if you're not satisfied with their muffin liners. Organic Beet Seeds For Sprouter By VREMI Review

NaturalSeedSprouts.jpg
We have a couple of bell pepper plants in front of our garden and although they don't bear enough bell peppers for us, my daughters have fun watering them and picking a few pieces of bell pepper there once in a while. Before bell peppers, we grew strawberries but they didn't grow well due to lack of space.

I've grown bean sprouts before (they're super easy to sprout) and I was quite excited when I had the chance to try to sprout beet seeds.

The Beet Seeds by VREMI are organic and non-GMO. They came in a pretty box which contains 30 grams of seeds. Aside from beet seeds, they also offer broccoli seeds, radish seeds and mustard seeds.
NaturalSeedSprouts.jpg
There are instructions on the back on how to germinate sprouts. The instructions were clear and very similar to how I do the bean sprouts.
NaturalSeedSprouts.jpg
I prepared a plastic container for the beet seeds.
NaturalSeedSprouts.jpg
I poured more than half of the resealable plastic bag of seeds into my container.
NaturalSeedSprouts.jpg
On the 3rd day, the seeds started to sprout. I think the seeds were slower to sprout because it's colder. The instructions said that cold slows the growth of the seeds so I think the colder weather is a factor.
NaturalSeedSprouts.jpg
On the 5th day, more seeds started to sprout. :)
NaturalSeedSprouts.jpg
On the 8th day, I can see improvements on almost all the seeds. Some sprouted fast while others were just starting. Again, I think this is due to the colder weather. :)

I like how fresh the beet sprouts are when we ate them. I am assured that the beet sprouts are fresh and free of pesticides because I grew them myself.

In my opinion, this also doubles as a science experiment because I showed my daughters the progress of the seeds everyday. They saw how the seeds started sprouting until the time they grew small leaves.
