Multipurpose Waterproof Headlamp From Dark Light Review
Using a headlamp is useful when I need to use both my hands when I'm looking for something or when hubby needs both his hands to fix something. Aside from that, a headlamp is useful when hubby goes biking because a headlamp adds up to the visibility and brightness so that he can see the road better.
When I received the Dark Light's Multipurpose Waterproof Headlamp, I looked forward to trying it. We have already have a headlamp at home but I like to try and compare different headlamps.
Here is a quick product description from the company:
The New Darklight LED Headlamp And Free Gift Flashlight.
Headlamp - utilizes a powerful 1 Watt Cree LED And 4 red LEDs, combined with 6 different lighting modes.
Harness - Three strap harness system is one size fits most and can be changed out with ease.
Lighting features - The headlamp can be completely submerged in water without affecting operation at any depth but is not meant for underwater use. In fact the headlamp has been designed with water safety in mind. If the headlamp is completely submerged for longer than 5 minutes it will begin an SOS strobe pattern that will run until it has been dried out. Turning on the red and white light strobes at the same time will create an attention grabbing emergency strobe that alternates its pattern automatically. Red and white lights run on independent switches allowing for increased flexibility.
Gift flashlight - Flashlight has a full aluminum body and rubber seal that makes it completely waterproof. Utilizing three CREE LEDs it is the perfect tool to keep on your key chain
The Waterproof Headlamp by Dark Light works on 3 x AAA batteries which is not included in the box. It has 1 bright white CREE led light and 4 red LED lights.
There are 2 buttons under the lamp which can switch the red LED lights or the white LED light. The red LED lights have 3 different light settings.
The white CREE LED light also has 3 settings. I like that I can simultaneously turn on the red and white LED lights at the same time.
There is a penlight included which has a keychain.
The batteries are already included on the penlight and I like that I can place this on my bag for emergency purposes.
The Dark Light Headlamp has a stretchable and adjustable head strap, one which goes around the head and another which goes over the head. This is a nice feature because the extra strap which goes over the head make the headlamp stay on the head more effectively. The head strap is also comfortable and not irritating.
The light can also be tilted up to 180 degrees. This is great so that I can just adjust the light and point it at a spot so that I can use both my hands when fixing or looking for something.
The Dark Light Multipurpose Waterproof Headlamp works as it should and can be used in a variety of ways.

Cycle Torch USB Rechargeable 500 Lumens Bike Light Review
Every time I receive something related to biking, hubby would be excited to try it. I do have my own bike but he is the one who commutes daily to and from work using his bike. He's also the one who has a biking session every Wednesday with his biking buddies after work so it would be dark already once they finish their bike route.
When I received the Cycle Torch USB Rechargeable Bike Light, I showed it to hubby and although he already has a bigger, rechargeable bike light, his smaller bike light (he has 2 on his bike) uses batteries. So, he was excited that this bike light, and the tail light included, were rechargeable.
The Cycle Torch USB Rechargeable Bike Light came in a nice box. Inside were the following:
- 1 x 500 Lumens Rechargeable Bike Light
- 1 x rechargeable tail light
- 1 x rubber strip
- 2 x USB charging cables
The Cycle Torch USB Rechargeable Bike Light has a single button to turn the light on/off as well as to cycle through the light modes. The button has a blue color when there is enough battery life for the bike light to function and turns red when the battery is getting low. When charging, this is also colored red during active charging.
The Cycle Torch's light is different than hubby's current secondary bike light because instead of having a light which is concentrated on a spot, the Cycle Torch has a wide, flat light which illuminates more ground. There are 4 light options here: high, medium, low and strobing. Each mode can be accessed by pressing the button simultaneously. To turn the bike light on/off, the button should be pressed for about 2 seconds.
The Cycle Torch can be charged by plugging the micro-USB cable included in the port under the bike light. Charging time takes around 8 hours and active charging shows a red-colored button.
The Cycle Torch 500 Lumens Bike Light is unique because I can easily check the battery life of the bike light by pressing and holding the single button. 1 flash is equivalent to a 10% battery life. I like this option because hubby is aware of how much battery life is left on the bike light so that this wouldn't drain out while he's out biking.
This is a nice set of bike light and tail light and for its price, this is a great deal.
You can purchase the Cycle Torch Bike Light HERE.

SecurityIng 3200 Lumens Bike Light With Rechargeable Battery Pack Review + #Giveaway 7/6 US
Before, when the weather was cooler, hubby and I ride our bikes early in the morning and finish around mid-morning. Now, having a bike light is important specially now that hubby and I go biking in the afternoon when it's cooler already. With the weather becoming warmer, we prefer to go biking late in the afternoon during the weekend instead of in the morning so that it wouldn't be so warm. Because we go late in the afternoon, we would finish our bike route when it's about to start to get dark already so a bright bike headlight is important to keep us visible and safe.
When I received the SecurityIng 3200 Lumens Bike Light, I immediately asked hubby to install it in my bike.
The SecurityIng Outdoor LED Bicycle Light arrived in a box which is a bit heavy.
The box contained the following:
- 1 x SecurityIng Headlamp
- 1 x AC Adapter
- 1 x Rechargeable Battery Pack
- 2 x Fixing Ring
The SecurityIng 3200 Lumens Bike Light comes with 7 Cree XM-L T6 LED bulbs. The maximum brightness for these bulbs is 3200 Lumens. The SecurityIng bike light is made out of an aluminum alloy casing, aluminum alloy reflector and a coated glass lens. It measures 55 mm in diameter and 52mm in height.
The lifespan of these bulbs are up to 50,000 hours which is nice.
There are 3 light modes available for the SecurityIng bike light:
- Strong which has a 2.1A / 3200 Lumen output.
- Middle which has a 1.3A / 1500 Lumen output.
- Strobe which is a flashing light setting.
The light modes can be switched by pushing the single button on the bike light. The single button turns green once the light is connected to the battery pack and turns off once it's disconnected from the battery pack or once the battery pack's power has been used up already.
The light is connected t the battery pack by connecting the cable of the bike light to the battery pack.
The battery pack measures 72 x 35 x 84mm (LxWxD) and weighs 375 grams. It has 8 x 18650 Li-On Rechargeable batteries and has a capacity of 8000 mAh. It has a black pouch bag with a velcro snap on so that I can easily remove and place it in my bike. The rechargeable battery pack has a charger included.
There are 2 fixing rings included but hubby only needed to place on my bike to hold the bike light. The fixing ring has thick and stretchy and looks durable. It holds the SecurityIng bike light in place.
The SecurityIng bike light helps a lot when it gets dark already. The brightest setting helps me see farther down the road as well as keep me visible to cars. I like how easy it is to use and that it has different light settings available.
The green-lit power button makes it visible when it gets darker and I also like that it shows me that the battery pack still has charge left in it. Hubby's bike light only has 3 bulbs so according to him, and from what I saw, the SecurityIng 3200 Lumens bike light is much brighter.
I also love how easy this is to install in my bike and that it stays in place. The SecurityIng bike light lasts for the duration of our biking session which is about 2 hours. It still has charge left on it after we ride our bikes so that's nice as well.
I also like that I can use this for a variety of ways like using it as a flashlight for our home. The bike light can be easily installed and removed from my bike so this is handy for other outdoor use as well like camping.
This is a very nice and effective bright light perfect to keep me visible at night and to light up my way so that I can see farther when it gets dark. It's also versatile since it can be used for other purposes as well.
I noticed that there is no manual included but, since hubby already has his own bike light, he installed this with no problems by wrapping the stretchy fixing ring around the handlebar of my bike and hooking each side of the ring to the hooks in the SecurityIng bike light.

Forever Cool Cooling Towel By Live Infinitely Review
I've never heard of a cooling towel before and honestly, I was surprised when I opened the Forever Cool Cooling Towel by Live Infinitely. Why? I'll tell you why below in a while.
The Forever Cool Cooling Towel arrived in a plastic carrying case for hygienic purposes.
At the back of the case is some of the uses and features of the Forever Cool Cooling Towel. Some of the product features from the company include:
- Our Yoga towel instantly lowers the temperature of your skin. Quickly feel the dramatic difference as it cools you off. Soon it will be the only thing you reach for when needing to cool down, help with those pesky migraines, when doing yard work or just about anything in between.
- When wet the sports towel's advanced cooling fabric activates and cools to around 30° below average body temperature and stays that way for up to 4 hours.
- Easily carry or store cooling towel in it's own special, convenient and hygienic plastic container. Perfect yoga towel for all body types!
- Anti-bacterial treatment to reduce odors/prevent molding-environmental-friendly PVA material and 100% non-toxic.
- Highly absorbent fabric absorbs water and wicks away sweat leaving you a refreshing and cooling feeling.
The Forever Cool Cooling Towel by Live Infinitely is wrapped in a sealed plastic inside the hard plastic carrying case. Drops of moisture can be seen inside the sealed plastic.
When I opened the plastic, the first thing that hit me was the strong, rubbery-like scent of the towel. FYI, I washed this a couple of times to get the strong-rubbery like scent. Good thing this is washable and reusable and didn't deform in any way after washing it a couple of times.
The towel has a smooth, soft texture similar to a thin and smooth kitchen sponge. My biggest surprise was that this towel was damp straight from the packaging. I didn't realize that this is called a cooling towel because it is damp and is supposed to be damp when used. After washing this a couple of times and then trying it out, I can definitely say that this is effective in cooling my body down after working out.
Since the weather is already warmer now, I sweat more and I my body temperature goes up way faster. With the Forever Cool Cooling Towel, I can cool my body heat way faster and I feel relieved and refreshed after using this. I like how it works as it should.
I also like that this is reusable and washable. I can also bring it on the go when we go biking. I like that soaking this in cool water and then squeezing it out makes it readily available for use.
Aside from the strong rubbery scent of the towel the first time I removed it from the packaging, I am glad that I got to try this towel because it helps my body cool down after a workout faster.
You can purchase the Forever Cool Cooling Towel by Live Infinitely HERE.

300 Lumens LED Lantern By AYL Review
Almost 6 years ago, the typhoon Ondoy struck the Philippines and as a result of the strong typhoon, we had no electricity for almost a week. We used candles to light up our home at night and we needed a lot of candles to brighten up the room. When I received the AYL 300 Lumens LED Lantern, I thought and wished we had something similar to this before because it's helpful in calamities and emergencies when electricity isn't available.
The AYL 300 Lumens LED Lantern by AYL arrived in a white box. The lantern has a decent size and height and measures 4 x 4 x 7.2 inches. There is a handle on top of the lantern and a hook at the bottom of the lantern so that I can also hang it upside down. The ABS Plastic cover can be removed so that I can have a light-bulb style lighting.
The rubberized base helps maintain a firm grip on the a counter top or table so that the lantern will stay upright. The green body which also has a rubber surrounding it, helps protect the lantern from bumps and drops.
The 3xD-sized batteries needed to power up the lantern is not included. There is no illustration on the box on which way the batteries should face so I installed it the wrong way the first time. I browsed the short instruction booklet included and it has a simple diagram there on how to place the batteries correctly.
There are 3 lighting options for the lantern: Low, High and Flashing Strobe. The white plastic case comes with a convex reflector which helps scatter light for a broader lighted area.
I couldn't capture the flashing green light on top of the power button but this flashes every 30 seconds so that I can easily find it in the dark.
This lantern emits a bright light and since it uses LED lights to power up, battery consumption is less. It's light enough for my 2 daughters to carry it around.
This would've been nice to have when we had no electricity for almost a week. I like this and I'm more confident and more prepared when there's a power outage in the future. :) Right now, my daughters use this as a night lamp and love it.
You can purchase the AYL 300 Lumens LED Lantern by AYL HERE with free shipping if you are a Prime member.
