 I change our pillow cases often so I have quite a few spare ones at home. I could always use a new one so I was excited when I got the chance to try the 1000 Thread Set of 2 pillow cases from Yorkshire Mayfair. Here is a quick product description from the company:

The Yorkshire Mayfair's 1000 Thread Set of 2 pillow cases arrived quickly. The pillow cases were in a reusable plastic case with a zipper. The color I received has a beige color with a subtle orange hue to it. I find the color really pretty so I loved it the first time I saw it.

The material/fabric used is very soft and smooth. I like how these neither shrink nor did it get any pillings after washing and drying them. These retained its original state before I washed them.

The pillow cases fit my standard pillow perfectly. I like how soft the fabric is as well as the sateen finish because it feels somewhat cooler than my other pillow cases. The label from the package says this is a 1000 thread count, 100% Mercerized Cotton Woven Sateen. The care instructions are also printed on the bottom of the label.

Yorkshire Mayfair 100% Cotton Flannel Sheet Set Review

This is the first time I received a sheet set to try and I was super excited because flannel sheets and bed sheets aren't cheap. I have 2 sheet sets at home and Yorkshire Mayfair sent me a random colored queen size flannel sheet set. Yorkshire Mayfair offers 17 different colors of sheet sets so I was giddy when I opened the box. I saw this light green/apple green color which honestly for me, was a bit awkward but likeable.

I immediately opened it to touch the feel of the fabric and was happy that the sheets feel soft and smooth. I popped it into our washing machine and then dried it using our dryer so that I can try it on our bed.

TheYorkshire Mayfair queen flannel sheet includes the following:

After removing it from the dryer, I saw a lot of fabric pilling on both the sheets and the pillowcases. Now, I wash all our sheets in our washing machine and toss it in the dryer after because we don't have any space to hang them. I didn't have any problems with fabric pilling on my other bed sheets so I didn't think I would see this on the Yorkshire Mayfair Sheet Set HOWEVER, the softness of the sheets and the pillow case was not compromised. They still felt the same way when I removed it from the packaging so I was still happy to try it.

The sheets and the pillowcase also produced some little balls of cotton which adhered and got stuck on my clothes and fell on the floor. Again, that didn't affect the softness of the sheets and pillowcases so I still tried them on.

The fitted sheet fit perfectly on our queen memory foam mattress. The pillow cases also fit nice on our memory foam, standard sized pillows.

The flat sheet is perfect to use as a blanket at night since the weather here in SoCal is warm already. The nights are cooler but not cold enough for us to use a comforter so the flat sheet works well a a light blanket for us.

I like how soft the sheets are and how breathable and yet warm it is. Even though they looked worn out the first time I washed them, the quality and softness of the sheets didn't change so that's a plus for me.
