I take pride when I do the laundry because our clothes always smell nice. Thanks to the Purex Crystals, I am able to prolong the freshness and scent of our clothes even if they've been in our closet for more than 2 weeks already. So, when I was able to try a new product from Purex, which is similar to their Purex Crystals, I was super excited to use it the next time I did the laundry.

Here's a quick product description from the company:

I received the Purex Crystals ScentSplash In-Wash Fragrance Booster in Fresh Spring Waters scent. If you've used the Purex Crystals Fresh Spring Waters scent and the Purex w/ Crystals Fresh Spring Waters Laundry detergent, this is the same scent but instead of the crystals, this came in liquid form. It has a light blue in color and has a thick consistency.

This is used similar to the Purex Crystals and is added into the washer. I added half a cup of the Purex Crystals ScentSplash directly on my washer and it didn't leave a stain even on my whites.

My clothes smelled REALLY nice when I got it out from the washing machine. The scent didn't go away or fade after I removed our clothes from the dryer which I think is great. Some of the clothes which I've washed almost 2 weeks ago still smell great.

I also noticed that the Purex Crystals ScentSplash removes the odor and scent of musty towels. It's a bit harder to remove the musty odor of towels and sometimes I have to rewash the towels to completely remove the odor. When I used the Purex Crystals ScentSplash, one cycle was enough to remove the musty odor.

The Purex Crystals ScentSplash In-Wash Fragrance Booster is easy to use and I like how it doesn't stain my clothes, even the whites. It keeps our clothes smelling nice and fresh even after almost 2 weeks of washing the clothes.

A hand soap is one of the things I like to stock up on because we wash our hands regularly at home. he top criteria I like in a hand soap is its' scent. A Body Wash That Does What It Says - Dial Vitamin Boost Body Wash + Giveaway (2 WINNERS) 2/17 US

I admit it. I am a body wash addict. I love trying out new body washes and I can't take a bath without one. :)

There are 3 things I look for in a body wash.

First is the scent. Okay others might say that the value of the body wash should be considered first before anything else BUT! for me, I can't use a body wash that smells bad (okay is there a body wash that smells bad? LOL.) not "bad" bad but not to my liking. There that's more clear. :)

Next of course is the value. I wouldn't buy overly-priced body washes that claim to achieve something by using it. I don't fall for those tricks. :)

Third is the added benefits I can get from the body wash but of course still considering the scent and the price. So whether it's moisturizing, added vitamins, lotion infused, etc., I will definitely pick this if the scent and the value is right.

What I first noticed about the NEW Dial Vitamin Boost Body Wash was the scent. :) I've told you before this is the first thing I look for in a body wash. :P It smells VERY NICE! The picture in the body wash is a kiwi but I am reminded of a cucumber-melon scent with a bit of orange-y/tangy smell in it. I LOVED THE SCENT. :)

I tried it and after that, I truly feel like my skin was a bit moisturized. I'd be lying if I say I wouldn't need to put on lotion afterwards but at least my skin didn't become flaky and dry after taking a shower and drying up. :)

I can't post my pictures here using the Dial Vitamin Boost Body Wash in the shower. LOL. BUT! I will post pictures of me trying it on my arm. :P That's the most I can do! :)

So here is my arm before I used the Dial Vitamin Boost Body Wash.

I prepared the loofah I use and the Dial Vitamin Boost Body Wash.

When I first used this while taking a shower, I was surprised by the neon green color of the body wash but it was nice and it compliments my loofah doesn't it? :)

Just a little amount is needed for it to foam.

Just washed it off with water and next picture would be...

The end result! I'm not sure if you can see the difference in the picture but in-person, I did see and feel the difference after using the Dial Vitamin Boost Body Wash.

I can definitely say I am in love with the NEW Dial Vitamin Boost Body Wash. I love the scent (I can even smell the scent while I'm typing! Can't help smelling my arm! LOL), the soft skin after using it and the moisturizing effect. I also love that it's lotion infused and has Vitamin B! Healthy skin, here I come! :)

Purex Crystals Fresh Mountain Breeze Review and Sweepstakes + Giveaway (3 WINNERS) 2/10 US

For me, I am not contented with clothes just being clean. I've always wanted them smelling good for weeks after washing them.

I used to only use a scented fabric softener for our clothes but then, the scent wouldn't last that long. Sometimes, the scent wouldn't even stick to the clothes.

When I first smelled the Purex Crystals Fresh Mountain Breeze, I was amazed at how good it smelled (I know I'm being redundant LOL). It really smells fresh and quite addicting. :D

I just placed a small amount of the Purex Crystals in our clothes together with the laundry soap and the results were great. It truly is a laundry freshener and it left our clothes smell good.

I really liked the smell of the Purex Crystals Fresh Mountain Breeze so I tried to put it in our bathroom as substitute for our air freshener.

I just opened the dried-up air freshener we have then I put in a little bit of the Purex Crystals Fresh Mountain Breeze inside.

It looks like a toilet plunger right? I thought so too. LOL.

I put the lid back on and placed it back where I usually put our air freshener.

In 30 minutes, our bathroom has the same scent as our clothes. I only placed a small amount of the Purex Crystals so as not to have that overpowering smell in the bathroom. I like it better if it's just enough for me to whiff the scent of the Purex Crystals Fresh Mountain Breeze. :)

I'm not sure how long this will last but I will update this post on how long this will last! :)

I'm also thinking of putting a little amount on our car to use as car freshener. I will update you with that! :)

Purex Fels-Naptha Laundry Bar and stain remover Review and Giveaway 12/9 US

As a mom of 2 girls (2 and 5 years old), I always look for ways to make laundry time shorter, easier and of course cheaper. I've tried lots of stain removers, both bleach and the ones safe for colored clothes, because it's a must in our home. The one I use on their clothes now is a bit pricey (but effective) and I am always open to try new ones specially cheaper ones. :)

 My 2 daughters' clothes always seem to get dirty at the end of the day and not to mention they change their clothes about 3 to 4 times a day (so imagine how many loads of laundry I do in a week with just their clothes).

I tried the Purex Fels-Naptha Laundry Bar for a change. I was so used to seeing laundry boosters and stain removers in liquid or powder form that I was excited to try the Purex Fels-Naptha which is in bar form. I read the instructions and yes it has to be grated (I'm not joking.).

I didn't have a spare cheese grater so I used the one we have at home. (Look it's the same color as the wrapper of the Purex Fels-Naptha!) :)

No this isn't cheese. LOL. It's the grated Purex Fels Naptha Laundry Bar. :) It was easy to grate and only a small amount was needed for each load (1/16 of the bar). Yes I mentally calculated how much 1/16th would be. :)

See I told you it was easy to grate. :)

Here is my daughter's footsies. She loves this footsies and she wears it everytime I've washed it. As you can see, there are crayon and chocolate stains on it.

Here are the after pictures of her favorite footsies. :) See the crayon and the chocolate stains are gone!

So my thoughts are:

- I like that it is in bar form but I am hoping to find it in liquid or powder form or grated form. :)
- Based on my experience, Purex Fels-Naptha is effective against everyday stains like chocolate, crayons and some other stains on my daughters' clothes but it cannot remove stains that has been on my daughters' clothes for a few days already.
- I really like the smell of the Purex Fels-Naptha bar. It is strong if you smell the bar itself but when I got the clothes, they have a subtle fresh scent.
- I love the cheaper price! Yes for me, nothing can beat cheaper products that work. :)
