Smith, and Mark Schultz.

MY REVIEW:

I enjoy listening to Christian pop and rock music because aside from these songs having family friendly lyrics, the melody are often catchy and nice as well. When I received the Living Hope CD, I was quite excited to listen to it.

The Living Hope CD has 12 tracks included by famous Christian artists. I actually know who Colton Dixon is because I watched and rooted for him when he was a contestant on American Idol. I listened to his song first and loved it. I also like the song, Hold on to Hope. Listening to this album makes me feel calm and relaxed. I also like how the songs in this album is centered on hope and that I can't help but sing along when I play this CD.

The Living Hope CD is currently available on Pizza Ranch Restaurants for just $5+tax or for download at pizzaranch.com/livinghope through August 31! I haven't eaten at Pizza Ranch yet since they don't have any stores in California so I hope they open one in SoCal as well. :) I like their mission and their food looks delicious!

There are the traditional lullabies and there's Jammy Jams. I've heard several albums from Jammy Jams and I love how they make songs into instrumental lullabies. Recently, they sent me a download code to redeem the Jammy Jams Little Headbangers 4: Sunset Strip Goes Lullaby. This album has some interesting tracks and some of my favorites are the Sweet Child O' Mine and Cum On feel The Noize.

I love how Jammy Jams made these songs into instrumental lullaby renditions perfect to lull kids to sleep. My daughters love listening to the xylophone sound in each track. Although they don't know the song, I like how I can sing along to the instrumental music.

MY REVIEW:

This is the first time I've heard about Plumb and I was impressed with her album "Exhale". Her album has very nice songs with very nice and clean lyrics. The melody is catchy and I can't help but listen to her while we're in the car.

My favorite song in her album would have to be Lord I'm Ready Now and Exhale comes in a close second. Although all the songs are really good too. I like how her songs inspire and motivate me. Her songs are similar to faith songs, with a difference: this is more modern and the melody compares to the more popular songs on the radio these days. Her songs are like a breath of fresh air for me because it's soothing and inspiring at the same time.

I love listening to this CD and I'm thankful to Flyby Promotions that I got the chance to know who Plumb is because her songs in her album "Exhale" are great.

MY REVIEW:

I've done a couple of reviews for Jammy Jams and I've loved each album I reviewed. They turn pop/rock/rap/etc. music into soothing lullabies suitable for young kids and babies which I think is really nice. Recently, I was able to review their Rock The Cradle: A Lullaby tribute to Billy Idol and I was born the late 80's and I am familiar with Billy Idol so I looked forward to listening to the album.

The Rock The Cradle: A Lullaby Tribute To Billy Idol has 10 tracks included which are all popular songs of Billy Idol. Jammy Jams made the songs soothing in a way that my daughters were humming to the tune while they were listening to the tracks. I like that these are all instrumental songs perfect to play for an afternoon nap or before bedtime.

Jeff Gold's Soul Of A Mountain CD has wonderful instrumental tracks is perfect for self and group meditation, relaxation or if I just wanted to free and clear my mind of my worries. The melody and instrumental songs are calming and relaxing and at the same time, it helps me find inspiration whenever I'm out of ideas for my blog. It also helps me unwind, think and reflect which I think is really nice.

I like the tracks in Jeff Gold's Soul of a Mountain CD because it reminds me of nature and reminds me of a mellow place where I can free my thoughts of anything.

MY REVIEW:

When I feel down or in a bad mood, I like to keep to myself and just be quiet. I need to have some time to think and reflect and sometimes, it's a bit hard specially if I failed at something.

Listening to Jeff Gold's Path To Resiliency helped me boost my confidence back up faster when I feel down. I like how soothing Janet's voice is and how calming and soothing the melody of Jeff Gold is.


My frustrations are lessened when I listen to this CD. It puts me in a relaxed state and makes me reaffirm myself that I can't control what's happening around me. Just as long as I do my best, I shouldn't feel so down because that's the way life is.

I also like how this CD helps me overcome the feeling of being down in a shorter period of time.

MY REVIEW:

This is the third CD album I've reviewed by Jammy Jams and me and my daughters liked the first two albums. I received another opportunity to listen to another album from Jammy Jams which is the Once Upon a Rhyme: Lullaby Renditions of Hip-Hop Classics album.

I'm not much of a hip-hop music fan but I know a few. The Jammy Jams' Once Upon a Rhyme: Lullaby Renditions of Hip-Hop classics features hip-hop songs turned into soothing, instrumental sounds which is very soothing and calming. There are only 3 songs in the tracks I'm familiar of (Hey Ya, The Real Slim Shady and Gangsta's Paradise) but I had fun listening to the other tracks as well. My daughters weren't familiar with the songs too but they said they liked it.

MY REVIEW:

I don't have problems falling asleep at night but there are times when my body says I need to sleep already but my mind keeps on working and thinking. This happens randomly and not that often but I don't like the feeling of restlessness and the feeling of waking up tired and unrested.

I listened to the Sleep Well CD by Janet Montgomery and Jeff Gold during a night when I just couldn't sleep. Listening to the Sleep Well CD helped me relax, unwind and calm down and finally find sleep after just a short time.

Janet's voice is very soft and soothing and combining it with Jeff Gold's beautiful and relaxing music, this CD is a perfect way for me to get a good night's sleep. I like listening to this CD even if I don't have any problems falling asleep because I noticed that listening to this makes me wake up feeling more refreshed and rejuvenated.

I did a review on Jammy Jams Pop Goes Lullaby 3 (READ REVIEW HERE) a couple of months back and I'm so excited to tell you about their new Jammy Jams Pop Goes Lullaby 4.

The Jammy Jams Pop Goes Lullaby 4 features 10 pop hits by Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Meghan Trainor and Magic to name a few. I love how soft the melody of each song is. All the songs are instrumental and some instruments I heard were a xylophone, maracas and piano. I like how they made the melodies of each song more calm and serene. My daughters can identify the songs they know (like Rude and All About The Bass) and sing along to the songs.

I love the music-turned-lullabies in this CD and I recommend it to those who have small children and to those who love lullabies.

MY REVIEW:

I know the Holidays is an exciting and joyful celebration but to be honest, picking out the right gifts and the stress of threading through the holiday crowd and shoppers often make me feel stressed out and exhausted. Good thing I have the Live Well Series CD because this CD helped me get through the stress and exhaustion of preparing for the holidays.

The Live Well Series: Techniques For Managing Stress helped me a lot because it taught me proper breathing techniques to let out stress as well as help me relax at night through the guided imagery and visualization. I really like Janet's calm and soothing voice and paired up with Jeff Gold's soothing melody, this is such a great and inexpensive way to de-stress and relax.

MY REVIEW:

I've reviewed the Sleep Well: Under The Sea CD recently and I loved how it's effective for my 6 year old daughter who has a hard time sleeping every night. Recently, I received the Sleep Well for Kids: The Original CD and was super excited to see if this is as effective as the Under the Sea CD for my daughter.

The Sleep Well for Kids: The Original focuses on breathing exercises. I love how calm and soothing Janet Montgomery's voice is. Jeff Gold's instrumental music has beautiful, soothing and calming melody as well which is perfect for Janet's voice.

I let my 6 year old daughter listen to this and I love how she easily settled down and unwind. My 3 year old daughter listened to this as well and followed her big sister.

My 6 year old daughter was asleep before the CD ended which lasted about 30 minutes. I love how this helped her relax and fall asleep easier.

MY REVIEW:

Jeff Gold's Simple Treasures is very soothing, calming and relaxing. There are 12 tracks included in this CD and each track or song takes me somewhere peaceful and calm. Each instrumental song is melodious and smooth and features guitars, piano, strings and flutes. I love how the songs helps me stay calm and relaxed specially on stressful days.

I also like listening to this CD because I can take a break and compose my mind if I need to think about how I'll write my blog post. This is also perfect to listen to when I drive because it makes driving less stressful for me.

Jeff Gold's Simple Treasures CD is also nice to play when we need some quiet time at home because the melody of each song has that soothing and calming effect for me as well as for my daughters.

MY REVIEW:

I love this CD. The calming voice of Janet Montgomery combined with the relaxing music of Jeff Gold in the background makes the Sleep Well for Kids: Under the Sea a perfect addition to my daughters' bedtime routine. My 6 year old daughter has trouble sleeping and she would often toss and turn for a long time before she would drift off to sleep. Listening to this CD made her more calm and relaxed before going to be.

I love the soothing and calming voice of Janet Montgomery. Her voice guided my daughters (I listened too so me too! :)) from the clouds, down to the pool and to the beach. The background music by Jeff Gold is very calming and nice. I also found myself relaxing and becoming more calm as I listened to the CD.

This is such a nice CD and it has helped my 6 year old daughter wind down for the day and sleep more easily.

California native Jeff Gold composes soulful and spiritual instrumentals which have received the attention of wellness centers, spas and music therapists for their tranquil and healing qualities.

Jeff has released three CD's, "Simple Treasures" in 2012, "Escapes" in 2009 and "Soul of a Mountain" in 2006, each one a soothing and relaxing collection of melodies featuring beautifully arranged acoustic guitars, piano, string and flutes.

He composes and arranges his own music, plays the guitar and piano, creating other instrumental sounds with his keyboard and computer. He also does his own mixing, editing and mastering; skills he perfected as a television editor for shows like MTV's "Making The Video", "Baywatch", "MadTV" and "The Office".

Jeff's very special nephew, Russell, became a fan of these soothing instrumentals because they help to calm him and make him "feel better". Russell then passed on his uncle's music on to his other friends on the autistic spectrum who also enjoyed it and found it made them "feel better" too.

Jeff is also a contributing writer and music adviser to EXPERIENCE | PREMCHIT resorts, located throughout Europe and Asia, researching and writing articles on the physical, mental and therapeutic effects that are possible with music.

Jeff has also teamed up with hypnotherapist, Janet Montgomery to produce seven guided imagery CD,s for "The Live Well Series". Topics include sleeping soundly, stress management and coping with cancer treatment.

MY REVIEW:

When I was in elementary and in high school, I went to a Catholic School and every year, we would have a "retreat" where we spend overnight or 2 nights in a retreat house. We would have different sessions of praying, and reflections on ourselves, family and friends and they would play these types of instrumental music whenever we needed to reflect and think deep within ourselves. The music is similar to the Escapes CD and I love how I can relax as well as reach deep into my heart to see what I truly felt.

When I heard the tracks to the Escapes - Music For Relaxing CD, I remembered my elementary and high school days. I love each track on this CD. Each track plays a very relaxing and calming instrumental music which helps me unwind and be refreshed. I've found so many things I can do while listening to this CD. I like listening to this while I'm driving because it helps me relax and be calm. I also like listening to this when I'm at loss for words when I'm blogging. I also find the music helpful to spark up some ideas on how I can write my blog post.

This is a really nice CD and also perfect for those stressful days where I just can't seem to relax.

MY REVIEW:

Honestly, this might be the first time I listened to Christian Music, aside from the songs we hear and sing when we go to church every Sunday, and I was a bit shocked at how good the songs were in Manic Drive's VIP album.

The melodies of each song is catchy and the lyrics of each song were captivating. The lyrics of every song from their album VIP is free from obscene and double-meaning lyrics which I noticed, is getting popular these days. Two of my favorite songs on their VIP Album are the Song to Sing and Indestructible. Manic Drive's VIP Album helped me appreciate Christian Music.
