Multipurpose Waterproof Headlamp From Dark Light Review
Using a headlamp is useful when I need to use both my hands when I'm looking for something or when hubby needs both his hands to fix something. Aside from that, a headlamp is useful when hubby goes biking because a headlamp adds up to the visibility and brightness so that he can see the road better.
When I received the Dark Light's Multipurpose Waterproof Headlamp, I looked forward to trying it. We have already have a headlamp at home but I like to try and compare different headlamps.
Here is a quick product description from the company:
The New Darklight LED Headlamp And Free Gift Flashlight.
Headlamp - utilizes a powerful 1 Watt Cree LED And 4 red LEDs, combined with 6 different lighting modes.
Harness - Three strap harness system is one size fits most and can be changed out with ease.
Lighting features - The headlamp can be completely submerged in water without affecting operation at any depth but is not meant for underwater use. In fact the headlamp has been designed with water safety in mind. If the headlamp is completely submerged for longer than 5 minutes it will begin an SOS strobe pattern that will run until it has been dried out. Turning on the red and white light strobes at the same time will create an attention grabbing emergency strobe that alternates its pattern automatically. Red and white lights run on independent switches allowing for increased flexibility.
Gift flashlight - Flashlight has a full aluminum body and rubber seal that makes it completely waterproof. Utilizing three CREE LEDs it is the perfect tool to keep on your key chain
The Waterproof Headlamp by Dark Light works on 3 x AAA batteries which is not included in the box. It has 1 bright white CREE led light and 4 red LED lights.
There are 2 buttons under the lamp which can switch the red LED lights or the white LED light. The red LED lights have 3 different light settings.
The white CREE LED light also has 3 settings. I like that I can simultaneously turn on the red and white LED lights at the same time.
There is a penlight included which has a keychain.
The batteries are already included on the penlight and I like that I can place this on my bag for emergency purposes.
The Dark Light Headlamp has a stretchable and adjustable head strap, one which goes around the head and another which goes over the head. This is a nice feature because the extra strap which goes over the head make the headlamp stay on the head more effectively. The head strap is also comfortable and not irritating.
The light can also be tilted up to 180 degrees. This is great so that I can just adjust the light and point it at a spot so that I can use both my hands when fixing or looking for something.
The Dark Light Multipurpose Waterproof Headlamp works as it should and can be used in a variety of ways.
