Northbooks Ruled 5x8 Notebook Review

Northbooks_5x8_Ruled_Notebook.jpg
I've always been picky about my notebooks. I like a notebook with a thick paper since I write in a heavy manner, which often results to marks on the next page. I also don't like it when ink bleeds through the other side of the paper.

When I received the Northbooks ruled notebook, I was super excited to see how the paper inside was. Here is a quick product description from the company:

Northbooks are great notebooks made in New York. Our original ruled soft cover notebook keeps it simple with high quality paper for a fine writing experience. Each notebook is 5x8 inches (13x20 cm) with rounded corners. This notebook is our go-to size for light work and for serious play, and it works great as a writing journal.

The ruled notebook from Northbooks has a simple look but the pages inside are really nice. The pages inside has a yellowish/brownish color and has a super smooth feel.

Each paper is thick enough for ink not to bleed through the page but not thick enough for the paper to feel stiff. I also like the thickness because my handwriting didn't go through the next paper.

The smoothness of each paper makes it feel like my pen just glides on the page. Aside from that, the size is just right if I wanted to bring this on a trip. It is small enough to be placed inside my bag but large enough for me to write notes.
