Zim's Crack Creme Original Formula Review + #Giveaway 6/22 US
There are times when my hands and feet are drier and the skin prone to cracking. I experience this on the soles of my feet or the sides of my fingers. When this happens, I usually smother my hands and feet with lotion for about thrice a day. For me, it's better to prevent it before it becomes worse than to let it be and see if it'll heal by itself.
When I received the Zim's Crack Creme, I looked forward to trying it because the skin on my heels appear drier and has a bit of cracks on it. Here is a quick product description from the company:
Zim's CRACK Creme Original Liquid Formula 2 oz is an All-Natural multi-use liquid herbal formula that softens and moisturizes dry, cracked skin. Recommended for nighttime use but can be used throughout the day as well. Use on Hands, Feet, Elbows, Cuticles & More. It was developed by a pharmacist over 60 years ago when cement workers came to him complaining of dry, cracked skin on their hands and feet. This oil formula features Arnica Flower Extract and Myrcia Oil.
The Zim's Crack Creme arrived in a nice box. The plastic bottle inside has a built-in spray to dispense the Crack Creme. I was kind of surprised because I was expecting the Zim's Crack Creme to be in cream form (well, because of the word Creme in the product's name) but instead, it has a yellowish, oily consistency. It has a strong herbal scent which made me remember the herbal oil my grandmother used to put in our tummy when we were younger when we have a tummy ache. The scent is not horrible but it isn't pleasant too.
This is recommended to use at nighttime, but can be used during the day as well, so I followed that. I applied it on my heels because it's starting to get drier and I can see the early signs of the skin starting to crack.
After massaging the Zim's Crack Creme on my heels, I saw an instant relief on my heels. The oil is absorbed quickly and it neither felt greasy nor irritated my skin. The scent is a bit strong but was gone by the time I woke up.
The Zim's Crack Creme also worked well on my hands. It's light enough to be applied on my hands and gentle enough to not cause any skin irritations. I like that I can use this as a moisturizer for my hands before they even show signs of dryness.
The Zim's Crack Creme is an herbal skin care product which I liked because I like products which are more natural. This came in a 2 oz. bottle but because I only need a little amount per application, this bottle will last a long time.
