Greenwald's Carpet And Fabric Stain Remover Kit Review
Having 2 girls who are 4 and 6, our carpet often have stains because of spilled drinks and other stuff. Aside from that, their clothes are often stained with food, chocolate, and other stains which I'm amazed as to where they get it. LOL. When I received the Greenwald's Carpet & Fabric Stain Remover, I was excited to try it on my daughters' clothes as well as see if it would work on our carpet as well.
The Greenwald's Carpet & Fabric Stain Remover came in a brown box.
Inside, there was an empty plastic spray bottle and a pack of 6 soluble packs.
I like that this kit came in 6 soluble packs because I can just make 6 x 32 oz. solutions. I don't need to buy bottles of stain remover and I can just store the small refillable packs in a safe drawer. It's not bulky to store and I only need to dissolve a packet when I use up the whole bottle already. What's also nice is that I can use the same plastic bottle over and over again so I don't have to buy a new bottle anymore.
The soluble packs has a yellow color and a bit similar to the scent of chlorine. It's much milder though so I like it.
There is an easy to follow direction with images at the back of the label of the bottle.
I like that 1 pack of the Greenwald's Carpet and Stain Remover is all I need to make a 32 ounce solution.
I just drop it in the bottle.
I filled the bottle up to the top and then let it stood for 1 minute.
Next, I covered the bottle up and shook the bottle to fully mix the solution.
The Greenwald's Carpet and Fabric Stain Remover's scent became very subtle after I mixed the soluble packet with water. It retained the yellowish color which is fine since it doesn't cause any yellowish stain/color on fabric and on our carpet.
The nozzle has an on and off position which is nice so that my daughters wouldn't accidentally spray this. I tried this on my daughters' clothes which has been recently stained with chocolate and I noticed that it completely removed the chocolate stain.
Before using this on any fabric or on our carpet, I always test this first on a small, inconspicuous area to see if it wouldn't cause any discoloration. Same as other stain removing products, this might cause some discoloration on some types of fabric. Although I've successfully used this on our carpet and our clothes, it's always nice to be careful first. :)
