Brillante Multi-Spectrum Pest Repeller Review

 I've never heard about a multi-spectrum pest repeller before. A few months back, I called pest control because the roaches are getting a bit out of hand (at least for me). The pest control guy told me that the roach infestation is still mild and is likely treatable with the roach paste (looks like peanut butter to me) he applied in cracks and the sides of the cabinet. True to his word, I didn't see any roaches after a few days until just recently, I noticed the roaches are acting up again.

When I received the Brillante Multi-Spectrum Pest Repeller, I decided to give it a try since it's non-toxic. I've never tried anything similar to this before so I looked forward to seeing if it would work.

The Brillante Multi-Spectrum Pest Repeller arrived in a brown box. The pest repeller unit is color white and is a bit heavy and bulky.

The left side of the pest repeller has the Ultrasonic and the Electromagnetic Switches. These work by:

-Ultrasonic sound wave creation (intended to disturb and drive away pests with sounds outside the spectrum audible to humans)
-Electromagnetic field alteration (to repel in-wall insects sensitive to electromagnetic variations)

 The right side of the pest repeller has the O3 and the Negative Ion Switches. These work by:
 -Negative ion generator (to reduce airborne particles, microbes and odors that help attract pests)
-O3 / ozone unit (for reducing indoor bacteria and virus levels)

I plugged the Brillante Multi-Spectrum Pest Repeller in our kitchen wall plug because that's where I regularly see roaches. It took up the whole socket because of its size so I placed it in the socket least used in our kitchen.

I turned all the switches on to see if it works and left it plug in 24 hours a day. Each switch has a corresponding LED light in front of the repeller to indicate that it's working. The LED light color is as follows:
Green: Ultrasonic
Red: Electromagnetic
Blue: O3
Yellow: Negative Ion

The green and the blue light flashes regularly which I think is due to the sound waves emitted by the Ultrasonic and Electromagnetic properties of the pest repeller. I didn't hear any audible sound coming from the Brillante Pest Repeller and we don't have any pets (except for turtles which are far away from the unit) so I don't have an idea if pets are disturbed by these inaudible sound waves.

A few days after installing this, I frequently see a roach on top of the repeller early in the morning when I switch on the lights. I tried to kill it but it just goes at the back of the repeller. It did indicate that the first few days of using the Brillante Pest Repeller, there will be an increase in pests in the home because they will be disturbed by the sound waves.

After about 2 weeks of continuously using the Brillante Multi-Spectrum Pest Repeller, I didn't see the roach on top of the Brillante Pest Repeller anymore. I also notice a decrease in instances when I see roaches in our kitchen counter top. I think this really works because the roach sightings aren't as frequent as before I plugged in the Brillante Multi-Spectrum Pest Repellent.

I couldn't say if this works on other pests such as mice, rodents, ants, etc. because thankfully, we don't have that problem in our home.
