Organic Beet Seeds For Sprouter By VREMI Review
We have a couple of bell pepper plants in front of our garden and although they don't bear enough bell peppers for us, my daughters have fun watering them and picking a few pieces of bell pepper there once in a while. Before bell peppers, we grew strawberries but they didn't grow well due to lack of space.
I've grown bean sprouts before (they're super easy to sprout) and I was quite excited when I had the chance to try to sprout beet seeds.
The Beet Seeds by VREMI are organic and non-GMO. They came in a pretty box which contains 30 grams of seeds. Aside from beet seeds, they also offer broccoli seeds, radish seeds and mustard seeds.
There are instructions on the back on how to germinate sprouts. The instructions were clear and very similar to how I do the bean sprouts.
I prepared a plastic container for the beet seeds.
I poured more than half of the resealable plastic bag of seeds into my container.
On the 3rd day, the seeds started to sprout. I think the seeds were slower to sprout because it's colder. The instructions said that cold slows the growth of the seeds so I think the colder weather is a factor.
On the 5th day, more seeds started to sprout. :)
On the 8th day, I can see improvements on almost all the seeds. Some sprouted fast while others were just starting. Again, I think this is due to the colder weather. :)
I like how fresh the beet sprouts are when we ate them. I am assured that the beet sprouts are fresh and free of pesticides because I grew them myself.
In my opinion, this also doubles as a science experiment because I showed my daughters the progress of the seeds everyday. They saw how the seeds started sprouting until the time they grew small leaves.
