Surpahs Shiny Small Lightweight Digital Bathroom Scale Review

I've tried a couple of digital bathroom scales already and I noticed that their usual colors were black or white. Every scale I've tried has their own unique property and feature and for the most recent scale I've received, I was actually quite excited about it. Why? Because it's really different. It's color pink! :) And, if you've been following my posts, you'll know that I love almost anything PINK or Purple.

I received the Surpahs Shiny Small Lightweight Digital Bathroom Scale in a white box. My 6 year old daughter thought it was a small laptop and asked me if I can give it to her. LOL. :) I told her it was a bathroom scale and she was quite disappointed BUT I'm excited because of the features AND color of the scale.

The Surpahs Lightweight Digital Bathroom Scale is smaller in size compared to the past bathroom scales I've tried. I really love the nice pink color. It's lighter than the picture above but darker than 2nd picture. I can't quite capture the exact actual color of the scale but I assure you it's nice. It also comes with 4xAAA batteries. :)

I love how easy it was to set-up the user profile. The instructions are very easy to understand and with a few button presses, I was able to set-up my profile. The nice part is, I can store up to 4 users here so I can add my hubby's profile as well. You might wonder how the Surpahs Digital Bathroom Scale recognizes the person who steps on the scale right? Here's a quick explanation. Since I entered hubby's and my profile here, every time 1 of us uses the scale, the Surpahs Digital Bathroom Scale matches the weight range from -2 kg to +2 kg and a P1P2 display will appear. I just have to choose the correct profile by pressing the arrow. It's that easy!

The next thing I love about this is the BMI display. I don't have to compute my BMI anymore when I step on the scale. The Surpahs Lightweight Digital Bathroom Scale automatically computes my BMI when I step on the scale which saves me time. :)

Next, I also love the BMI level index. If you're wondering what that is, look at the photo above. It automatically shows me if I'm overweight or have a normal BMI. As of now, I'm still a bit overweight and still working on that. :) Although I know the normal BMI range, it's still nice to see the BMI Level Index. :)

The large, blue back-lit display is also a plus for me. I've been wearing glasses for almost 2 years now and my eyesight isn't that good so I love how big the display is since I don't have to bend down to see my weight. I can easily see it while standing up and the backlight helps a lot.


I store my scale in an upright position, in between our drawer and the refrigerator so similar to other scales, I would have to calibrate the Surpahs Shiny Small Lightweight Digital Bathroom Scale every time I use it. It's fairly easy to calibrate. Here are the steps to calibrate it.

1. Put the scale on a flat, hard and even floor.
2. Step on the scale
3. Wait for it to take your weight. Don't panic if you see that you've put on 3 lbs of weight because it's not yet calibrated! :)
4. Step off and wait for it to turn off, which takes about 15 seconds.
5. Step on again and voila! Correct weight shown! :)

The Surpahs Shiny Small Lightweight Digital Bathroom Scale might be smaller in size (it's actually a plus for me because it takes up less space) but is accurate and the color rocks. :) I can't say anything bad about it as of the moment and it's is my new favorite scale at the moment.
