FlavFusion Infuser Bottle With Flip Top Sipper Lid Review

FlavFusionInfuserBottle.jpg
Have you heard about infuser bottles? Well, I might've heard about them before because I'm familiar with the name but I haven't really looked into them until now. Wanna learn how I made this fruit-infused water? Read on below. :)

What is an infuser bottle?

It's actually a water bottle which has a smaller separate container inside for fruits so that your water will be infused with the flavor of the fruit you put inside. Cool? :)

I received an infuser bottle from FlavFusion and before we dive in to my review, here's a little something about the FlavFusion.

The FlavFusion has a 26-ounce fill capacity and is easy to use. It makes plain water taste like a natural fruit flavored beverage. It has a removable fruit infuser and it works by the liquid flowing around and through the fruit to flavor the drink. It's BPA free, lead-free and bottle is made of PET plastic. The basket is made of polypropylene. It has a wide mouth, 63 mm neck and can fit most cup holders. It's meant to be handwashed only and non-microwave safe. It's made in the USA.

Before using the FlavFusion, I washed it first with soap and rinsed it with warm water. The bottle is a bit tall and my initial thought about the removable fruit infuser was that it was a bit small.

I first tried to add strawberries in the fruit infuser. I had to slice the strawberries into smaller pieces so that it can fit in my infuser. The fruit infuser has the right size to fit 1 piece of strawberry cut into pieces.

I placed the cut strawberries inside the fruit infuser.

Then, I attached it into the FlavFusion's cover. I filled the FlavFusion bottle with cold water and closed it with this cover+fruit infusion combo. :) That's it! :)

So my thoughts?

The FlavFusion is very easy to use. I like the 26-ounce water capacity because the water can last me until past noon.

At first, I thought that my water would taste like strawberries, specially when the strawberries began to disintegrate and bits and pieces of the strawberries were floating in the water already. It actually didn't, to which I'm a bit relieved. The water has a clean crisp taste with a super subtle taste of strawberries. Unless I focus on the water and swish it a bit inside my mouth, the water just tastes great.

I love the flip top sipper. Every time I sip, I feel and hear the water seeping through the fruit infuser. I think this makes it effective because the water goes through the fruit infuser with a bit of pressure when I sip.

The fruit infuser might seem small but it actually is just the right size for the bottle. Too much fruit would alter the taste of my water too much and I don't really like that. I like that the fruit infuser gives me a subtle fruit taste.

I tried to put lemon on the fruit infuser and my water tasted great! I can't wait to try to add other fruits in the fruit infuser.

I love how portable the bottle is and how it infuses my water with the fruits' flavors and nutrients. :)

You can purchase the FlavFusion on Amazon for $10.97 with free shipping if you have Prime.
