GeoPuzzle World in Spanish by GeoToys Review + Giveaway 9/8 US

I've always been a puzzle lover ever since I was a kid. I remember having a favorite jigsaw puzzle, a 1000-pc. Beauty and the Beast Puzzle, which I love putting together again and again. So when GeoToys sent me their GeoPuzzle El Mundo, even though I didn't speak Spanish, I was happy to do a review of it.

The GeoPuzzle El Mundo by GeoToys has a total of 68 pieces of jigsaw puzzles each with some pieces shaped like countries and group of countries. All the countries and oceans are labeled in Spanish. It is made in the USA from recycled materials and the puzzle measure 66 x 32 cm when put together.

My 3 year old daughter helped me put together the puzzle because my 6 year old daughter was at school. When she returned, she asked that we do it again. :) The puzzle of pieces of the GeoPuzzle El Mundo were sturdy and hard to bend so I think it's a plus because I know my daughters wouldn't be able to bend it quickly. The colors printed on each puzzle are also very vibrant.

I do have to admit, I didn't pay much attention to the map of the world when it was taught so I had a HARD time putting the puzzle together. Some of the pieces are also small and irregularly shaped so that makes it much harder. I think it'll be easier to put the puzzle together if I'm familiar with the map of the world but since I'm not (shhhh that's our little secret!), I was challenged with the puzzle. I also did learn a bit since I was familiarized with the map of the world while we were putting the GeoPuzzle together plus, I got to see the Spanish translation of the countries and the ocean. I'm from the Philippines and I particularly looked for the Spanish translation of the Philippines which is Filipinas (ehhh, I knew that already.. :)).

I love how the GeoPuzzle El Mundo helped ME get familiarized with the map of the world as well as learn the Spanish translation of each country. I'm sure this will help my daughters in the future when they start learning about the map of the world. My daughters and I had a fun time putting the puzzle together and the second time we put it together, we beat the time it took us to finish our first try! :)
