Cool Gel N Cap Review + Giveaway 8/11 US

I'm a mom of 2 girls who are 3 and 6. Whenever they accidentally bump their head or any part of their body, they would run away if I tell them I need to put an ice pack on their bump. Comforting them is the first thing on my mind but with prolonged ice contact, it stings the skin so it's a battle between "to-ice" or "not-to-ice" which mostly leads to "to-ice" to relieve the bump.

When Cool Gel N Cap sent me their Toby the Puppy and Tulip the Bunny Cool Gel N Cap, I knew my daughters would like them.

Each box includes a Cap and 2 Reusable Cold/Warm Gel Packs. The Gel Packs are high quality and is non-toxic. They are double-seamed and very safe for children.

I placed 1 pair of Gel Packs inside our freezer and left it there for about about an hour. I put the other pair of Gel Packs inside the microwave and set the microwave to 30 seconds. The gel packs were warm after 30 seconds so be careful when getting it out. :)

Then I placed the warmed gel packs inside the pockets of the Cool Gel N Cap and tried to feel if it's too warm. The cap absorbs some of the heat from the gel pack and when worn, it doesn't burn the skin. I think the warm gel packs would also be great to soothe my sore muscles after I exercise. :)

Next, I got the pair of gel packs from the freezer after an hour and was glad that it was already cold. I placed the cold gel packs inside the pockets of the Cool Gel N Cap and my 3 year old daughter couldn't wait to try it on.
She chose Toby the Puppy while my 6 year old chose Tulip the Bunny. The cap fit perfectly on both of them and both didn't mind wearing the cap with the ice cold gel packs inside. My 3 year old daughter actually loved it and told me that it felt cool inside the cap. The cap itself absorbs some of the coldness of the reusable gel ice pack so the icy feel of the ice pack doesn't directly touch the skin making the cold therapy sting free.

I love how cute the designs of the caps and how convenient the reusable gel packs are. The velcro snap for the chin makes sure the cap wouldn't come off and stays in place. My daughters also love wearing the cap without the Gel Packs and pretend they're a rabbit and a dog.

If you'd like to purchase the Cool Gel N Cap, you can go to their WEBSITE to check their caps out which is sold for $12.99. The Cool Gel N Cap is tax free and they offer free shipping for every order. Plus, they have a great deal because each additional cap you order would only cost $9.99. :)

  1. I have a 5yo son and a 1 1/2yo daughter. They're both always knocking their heads into something! I'd choose the puppy dog - they both love dogs.
