OvenArt Bakeware Silicone 12-Cup Muffin Pan Review

My daughters love cupcakes and muffins and as much as they love eating them, they love to "help" make them too.

When I received the OvenArt Bakeware Silicone Muffin Pan, my daughters saw it and wanted to bake cupcakes right away.

I noticed how flexible it is and that's because it is made of silicone which is free of cheaper, plastic filler material. Who knew the more sturdy a silicone pan is, the more plastic fibres it has? So I am glad that the OvenArt Muffin Pan is flexible, to the point that it's floppy and bend-y, because I know I am getting a premium muffin pan.

I washed the muffin pan with water and soap before using it and let it dry. :) Then we're off to try it! 

I placed the OvenArt Silicone Muffin Pan on a cookie tray before putting the batter to support it. Because of it's flexibility, the cookie tray supported the silicone muffin pan from accidentally folding up. :)

I didn't put oil or grease on the OvenArt Silicone Muffin Pan because of 2 things. First, I wanted to test it's non-stick capability and second, I really don't like the greasy/oily texture of the cupcakes when I grease the muffin pan before baking.

Well the OvenArt Silicone Muffin Pan did amaze me. The OvenArt Silicone Muffin Pan was cool in just a few minutes and I just "popped-out" the cupcakes from underneath and they popped out easily. My daughters even did it by themselves. Even without greasing the silicone muffin pan, it was very easy to remove the cupcakes and only a tiny little bit of cupcake residue was left on the pan.

The muffin pan was very easy to clean as well. The cupcake residue left on the pan came off easily with water and a bit of soap. I didn't even have to pre-soak the silicone muffin pan to soften the cupcake residue. :)

SURPAHS Ultra-Thin Tempered Glass Digital Kitchen Scale Review

Honestly, I haven't really owned my own kitchen scale before. Yes I have been TRYING to control my food intake to lose weight and I TRY to follow the serving size on food packaging but I base it on pure self-measurement.

So what is self-measurement? Well it's simple. For example the packaging says serving size is 5 grams but the whole package is 15 grams, I divide the contents by 3 to make each serving 5 grams. :)

When Surpahs offered me to try their Ultra-Thin Tempered Glass Digital Kitchen Scale, I was super psyched because this is the first time I'll be owning my own digital kitchen scale. :) Now I feel I'll be able to control and see what I eat more precisely. :)

The Surpahs Ultra-Thin Tempered Glass Digital Kitchen Scale is very light and portable. It is made of tempered glass and is very thin.

I weighed the first thing I saw at home and that was an avocado. :) I like the super sensitive on/off button (on the right side of the display screen) because it's very easy to turn the digital kitchen scale on and off. It also shuts off automatically if ever I forget to turn it off manually which I tend to do most of the time. :)

I also like that with a simple push of the "Unit" button (on the left side of the display screen), I can change the unit into pounds (lb.oz.), fluid ounce (fl.oz.), milliliter (ml) and grams (g). It uses a 1xCR2032 lithium battery but no worries, it's included already. :)

The maximum weight capacity it can measure is 11 lbs / 5.5kg which is nice for its size. The tempered glass is very easy to clean. It also has a 2-year manufacturer warranty! :)

SURPAHS - Outlook Precision Digital Bathroom Scale Review

I've been trying to lose weight for quite some time now and monitor my weight every week but my current digital weighing scale (which is one of the popular brands for weight loss) is not precise anymore. Why can I say it's not precise anymore? Simple. Because every time I step on it, it displays different weights. When I say different weights, it varies from 0 to 3 lbs. every time I step on it so I have to take my weight about 3 to 4 times to get my correct weight.

When Surpahs offered me to try their Outlook Precision Digital Bathroom Scale, of course I got excited. :) I am in the market for a new weighing scale and this came in the right time. :)

The Surpahs Outlook Precision Digital Bathroom Scale comes only in black color. For me, I usually prefer black over white so the color favors me. The handle has a silver color and the color combination complements each other. The Surpahs Outlook Precision Digital Bathroom Scale has a very elegant, stylish look to it and I love it. :)

There are several things which I loved about the Surpahs Outlook Precision Digital Bathroom Scale. 

1. I love how lightweight it is. My 2 daughters who are 3 and 5 can even carry it around. By the way, they love to step on the weighing scale too so whenever they see me step on the scale, they do too. :)

2. I've mentioned that I love the color combination because it looks so elegant and stylish.

The actual picture above doesn't do justice to the actual Surpahs Bathroom Scale. I'm not sure why my camera isn't functioning well but I assure you, it's better in-person. :)

3. I LOVE the inverse LCD black display. It clearly showed me my weight, although I am in denial :) and it completes the classy, elegant look.

4. The 4xAAA battery is already included! :)

5. I don't need to tap somewhere and wait for it to turn on and calibrate. My old weighing scale needs me to tap somewhere and most of the time, I tap for about 2 to 3 times for it to turn on and then wait for the display to turn into 0.0 before I can finally step on it. For the Surpahs Outlook Precision Digital Bathroom Scale, I just step on it and VOILA!, it takes my weight just like that. No more tapping and waiting for me and it automatically turns off. :)

6. It's very precise. I took my weight 3 times to see how precise it is and only one time did my weight differ for just 0.2 lbs. And guess what, I am 2 lbs. lighter with the Surpahs Outlook Precision Digital Bathroom Scale when I compared it with the weight I got from my current weighing scale!
