Chamberlain's Leather Milk Furniture Treatment No. 5 Leather Conditioner Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Product Description
Furniture Treatment contains rich, natural emollients and a gentle cleaner designed to clean and condition your quality leather furniture items!  May be used as often as desired to clean and refresh leather furniture items such as sofas, couches, love seats, ottomans, and chairs.  Not for use on suede or extremely soft leather types.
Furniture Treatment is a milky, water-based emulsion containing some remarkable leather enriching ingredients for your quality leather furniture items.  For leather furniture that is exposed often to spills, stains, and human touch, this recipe is the perfect solution to keeping your leather looking healthy, supple and new!  This recipe contains oils that can be described as ‘lighter’ rather than ‘heavier’ oil types; and, because the recipe is water-based, it can also work as a mild cleaner.  You can use Furniture Treatment often, for a quick, effective, cleaning and revitalizing result to your home’s leather furniture.

We bought our leather sofa about 6 months ago after we decided to give our previous 4+ year old sofa a rest already. The best I did to clean up our leather sofa was to wipe it with wet wipes to clean out the dust and the little dried food stains/pieces that stuck to it thanks to my 2 daughters. :)

When Chamberlain's Leather Milk sent me a No. 5 Furniture Treatment to try, I was excited since this would be the first time I'll use something like this on our sofa.
Chamberlain's Leather Milk is made in the USA and is made from a nature-based recipe for leather care. It is environmentally safe and aesthetically pleasing. It also comes with a white applicator so no need to buy an applicator.

Before I used it, I followed the directions and tested it on a part on our sofa which cannot be seen to make sure I can safely use it. The consistency of the Leather Milk is a little bit thicker than water (more of like a dishwashing soap consistency) and the scent is actually nice. Now that I've thought about it, I've been trying to figure out where I smelled the scent for quite some time now :), my Honey and Almond Body Scrub smells just like it! LOL. That's why the scent is sooo familiar!

After applying the Leather Milk on our sofa, the end effect after buffing was amazing. I had forgotten how our sofa used to look like and the Chamberlain's Leather Milk did a great job in making it shiny again. :) It even made it look a bit darker. You can see the comparison in the picture above.

I love the Chamberlain's Leather Milk Furniture Treatment No. 5. It's really effective in cleaning our leather sofa without the nasty chemical smell.

Chamberlain's Leather Milk also offers 4 other Leather Milks designed specifically for different leather types.

You can visit Chamberlain's Leather Milk on their website to know more about them.

Lightload Full Size Beach Towel Review + Giveaway 4/28 US

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

When we go to the beach, I would always pack 4 towels. One for me, my hubby and one each for my 2 daughters. These towels would take up if not the whole backpack, almost three-fourths of it.So when I received the Lightload Towels, I was surprised that a very small and very light "puck" looking thing can become a 36 x 60 inch beach towel! :)

Now for this review, I wouldn't be able to show you how the Lightload Full Size Beach Towel works or how big it is since I am planning to save it on our trip to the beach BUT I promise to make another review, complete with pictures, when we go to the beach and get the chance to actually use it. :) I will however describe it in its "puck" form on this post. :)

The Full Size Beach Lightload Towels weigh only 5 oz. or 114 grams when it's in its "puck" form. The packaging is waterproof so I won't have to worry about expanding it if I accidentally spill water on it. To expand it to it's full size, water is needed to soften and expand it. The size of the towel expands to 36 x 60 inches when it's fully opened. I can't believe it's also reusable and can be tossed in the dryer. I don't think I can put it back to it's original "puck" form when opened but I'm glad that I can hand wash it so that I can use it again.

You can visit Lightload Towels on their Website, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. :)

Now on to the giveaway! :) Lightload Towels have generously sponsored a giveaway for a chance to win the same towel size I received. Just enter on the rafflecopter below. :)

Viva Vantage Paper Towel Review + VLOG Demo #TeamVivaVantage #Breakup4Better

Having 2 girls ages 3 and 5, we use A LOT of paper towels everyday. I grew up with my mom using rags for cleaning up but I find that it takes more work and time when I use rags rather than paper towels so I always opt in for the latter.

I admit I always buy paper towels which are on sale. Often times, I would buy the cheapest one available so as "to save money". Hey, I only use it to clean up messes and spills so why do I have to buy an expensive one right?

So when Crowdtap sent me 4 rolls (1 for me and 3 rolls to give away to friends and family) of the New Viva Vantage V-Flex Weave paper towels, I was excited because I get to try a new brand of paper towel. :)

I had the perfect opportunity to try it since my daughters made a pool out of our bathroom sink. AGAIN. I usually use about 3 to 5 sheets of my go-to cheaper paper towels to clean up their "mini pool". :)

I captured the Viva Vantage V-Flex Weave in action so enjoy the video below. :)

First of all, I am so impressed by how absorbent the Viva Vantage Paper Towel is. I only had to use 2 sheets to clean up the "pool" my daughters made on our bathroom sink. It didn't tear up even if it was soaked with water already AND the good part, it didn't drip! The usual paper towel I use DRIPS when it's soaked already but the Viva Vantage Paper Towel didn't! :)

The design of the Viva Vantage Paper Towel is very simple. Just these small diamond-shaped pattern which makes it stretchable. I do like the pretty designs of some paper towels and I admit it makes me want to buy them more BUT I also believe simplicity is pretty. :) Although it's not eye-catching, it definitely does the job better. :)

After trying the Viva Vantage Paper Towel, I can definitely say I would think twice whether I'll choose my cheaper, go-to paper towel or choose the Viva Vantage Paper Towel because even if it's a bit pricier, I did use less sheets when I cleaned up my 2 daughters' mess. :)

DISCLAIMER:  I am a member of Crowdtap and have received a complimentary free Viva Vantage V-Flex Weave Paper Towel to try and review however, all opinions are honest and my own and are not influenced in any way. Adovia Dead Sea Mud Mask Review + Giveaway (3 Winners) 4/21 US

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
I love mud masks. If you've been following my blog, you'll see that I've tried and reviewed a couple of mud masks: the Montagne Jeunesse (review here) and the Boots Botanics (review here). I've tried several brands of mud masks but I'm only loyal to 3 at the moment. 2 of them I did a review on and 1 is a personal favorite (because it's super cheap) which I'll write about later. :)

Okay, so let's go back to the reason why I'm writing this blog post. :)

Here is a brief description of the Adovia Dead Sea Mud Mask from the box they sent me:

ADOVIA's unique Purifying Mud Mask is formulated with Dead Sea Black Mud, Beeswax and a deeply moisturizing combination of Jojoba Oil, Evening Primrose Oil and Olive Oil. This natural mask boosts cell renewal and revitalizes your skin, while tightening your pores. As the mask dries, it gently pulls out toxins and impurities known to clog pores and cause visible signs of aging. The presence of Dead Sea mud infuses your skin with needed minerals while firming it and improving elasticity. Aloe Vera and Chamomile extracts soothe and calm your skin while Vitamins A and C leave it looking fresh and renewed.

Here are some of the benefits of using the Adovia Dead Sea Mud Mask (Amazon description):
  • Facial Mask Tightens and Purifies Pores leaving Clear, Younger Complexion
  • Dead Sea Mud Quickly Reduces Acne and Pimples
  • Over 21 Minerals Present in Dead Sea Mud Mask help to keep skin healthier and act as acne treatment
  • A Facial Dead Sea Mud Mask Facial Treatmet in Spas cost from $70-120. This Mask contains 30 Sessions!
  • Can be Used as Spot Treatment & Blackhead Remover

I couldn't contain my excitement when Cleopatra's Choice sent me a full sized sample of their Adovia Mineral Skin Care Purifying Dead Sea Mud Mask. The design of the box is very classy and the size of the tube is fairly decent for the price. This full-sized tube is meant to last to up to 30 sessions! :)

Of course I had to pose with the Adovia Mud Mask before I try it. :)

The consistency of the Adovia Dead Sea Mud Mask is thicker than the Boots Botanics Clay Mask. It does look like "green baby poop" :) but believe me, the benefits of using the Adovia Dead Sea Mud Mask makes up for the somewhat "gross" color. :) And to think about it, all the mud masks I use have the same color. :)

The direction was to apply just a thin layer onto clean skin so I did just that. :) Since I use 2 different brands of mud masks (3rd brand I'm using is a cloth-type mud mask), I am used to putting a thicker layer of mud mask on my face so it felt weird to put on just a thin layer of the Adovia Mud Mask. :)

It dried up in about 15 minutes. It felt weird because in all the mud masks I've tried, I get that "tightening feeling" when the mud mask starts to dry up. I didn't get that "tightening feeling" when the Adovia Mud Mask started drying up or even when it dried up completely. I was a bit skeptical if it really worked or not. So when it dried up, I rinsed my face with warm water and patted it dry. :)

So here is my picture after rinsing off the Adovia Dead Sea Mud Mask and patting my face dry. Is it just me or does anyone else feel like their complexion seems lighter after using a mud mask? :)

I am definitely in love with the Adovia Mud Mask. This is the first time I didn't get the "tightening feeling" I feel on other mud masks but the result is just as great as the other 3 mud masks I'm using. One thing I noticed was that my face didn't get dry afterwards. I didn't even use a moisturizer after using the Adovia Dead Sea Mud Mask.

It worked very well to soothe and calm my red pimples (although it's not that visible on my "before" picture, I assure you I am acne prone and have small pimples all throughout the year and have 2 to 3 "BIG" pimples on that time of the month every month). I cannot say though if it's effective for Eczema and Psoriasis because thankfully, no one in my family has those skin problems.

You can visit Cleopatra's Choice on their website.

You can also purchase the Adovia Dead Sea Mud Mask on Amazon for $29.00 (5.1 fl. oz. tube).

Now onto the fun part! If you liked my review and want to try the Adovia Dead Sea Mud Mask for free, Cleopatra's Choice offered a giveaway for a chance to win a full-sized tube (like the one I reviewed) not just for 1 of my readers but 3 of my readers!! :) Now this is a $29 value so don't miss your chance and enter on the rafflecopter below.

DISCLAIMER: 3 Winners will each receive (1) Adovia Mineral Skin Care Dead Sea Mud Mask (5.1 fl.oz. tube). Crave Naturals Glide Thru Detangling Brush Review + Vlog Demonstration

My daughters and I always get out of the shower with super tangled hairs. I have long wavy hair, my 5 year old daughter has long, straight hair and my 3 year old daughter has short wavy hair. It's very difficult for me to comb their hair after they take a bath because they would often protest and cry from the pain of combing through their tangled and knotted hair.

So when Crave Naturals sent me a Detangling Brush, I was very excited to try it on my hair as well as on my daughters' hairs.

The Crave Naturals Detangling Brush have 3 different bristle lengths which is very flexible. It also has an ergonomic handle which makes it easier and more comfortable to use. The pink color is very nice (because I love pink and purple colors) but is also available in black.

According to The Crave Naturals site, the Detangling Brush is the last brush you'll use because of the following reasons:

✓ Use on wet or dry hair
✓ Use on extensions or wigs
✓ Minimizes breakage, split ends & hair loss
✓ Smooths the cuticle layer increasing shine
✓ Massage your scalp to promote hair growth
✓ Delicate on the scalp since it is 100% Beadless so it will not dig into the scalp
✓ Easy to clean

I tried the Crave Naturals - Detangling Brush on my hair first since I wanted to test it first-hand. I used it after I took a bath, with my hair still wet and tangled, and I was surprised by how easy it glided through my hair. I finished combing and detangling my hair in less than a minute. It was also painless and the handle made it more easier to use the brush.

Next, I tried it on my 2 daughters' hairs when they came out of the shower. The video below will show you how easy it was for me to comb through my 2 daughters' hairs using the Crave Naturals - Detangling Brush.

I love how easy it is to use the Crave Naturals Glide Thru Detangling Brush. It really made combing and detangling easier and pain-free. I definitely recommend this specially to those who have small children and to those who have hairs that tangle easily as well. :)

You can find Crave Naturals on their Website, on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.

You can also purchase the Crave Naturals - Detangling Brush on Amazon for $15.88. They offer a money back guarantee if you're not satisfied with their product! :)

White Matcha Tea from Red Leaf Tea Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
When I hear the word "Matcha", I've always associated it with green tea maybe because I haven't heard of other Matcha flavors until I heard the Red Leaf Tea's White Matcha Tea.

I received a small pouch (30g) of the White Matcha Tea from Red Leaf Tea. It might seem a bit small but for the recommended daily serving of just 1/2 tsp. to 1 tsp. a day, this small pouch would definitely last a long time.

Similar to the Matcha Green Tea, the White Matcha Tea has the following health benefits:

- high antioxidant count to kill free radicals in the blood stream
- reduces the risk of certain types of cancer
- decreases fine lines and wrinkles in the skin, helps maintain a beautiful complexion
- has only one percent (1%) caffeine content of coffee.

The White Matcha Tea from Red Leaf Tea contains 100% Matcha and natural flavors. It has no artificial coloring, no sweeteners, no preservatives and no MSG/Chemical Additives.

Since the name says "White" Matcha tea, I expected to receive a white-colored powder but received a light brown colored fine powder. It has a very mild taste and has that natural super subtle sweetness.  I like it because it reminded me of boba milk tea only less sweeter. I also like that it has no grassy taste  and that I only need half a teaspoon in my 8 oz. of milk.

I recommend the White Matcha Tea from Red Leaf Tea to those who doesn't like the traditional "bagged" tea taste. I don't like the "bagged" teas but I definitely liked the White Matcha Tea. :)

You can read more about the White Matcha Tea from Red Leaf Tea here.
