LumenX EZ Grip Bike Light Review

We're lucky enough that hubby's workplace is just a mile away from our home so he rides his bike to work everyday. Since we save on gas, we make sure he's riding his bike safely by buying affordable yet quality bike accessories, specially the bike light to make him visible at night.

I received and reviewed a great mountable bike light from LumenX before (Read my review here) and recently, I was sent a LumenX Ez Grip Bike Light to try in exchange for an honest review. I know hubby could use an extra light for extra visibility at night.

Make Your Body Work Online Fitness Review

I exercise at home so I opt for exercises with no equipment needed (the only equipment I have is a pair of 2-lb. weights) because we have limited space in our home.

Make Your Body Work is an online exercise program which doesn't need any equipment (only your yoga mat and a water bottle). Signing up and watching the workout routines are FREE. Yes that's right! What I like about Dave's videos is that the steps are easy to follow. Dave also shows different levels of intensity for each step. I did the video above and it looked easy to do because it only has 5 different steps but halfway through, I felt the burn on my thighs already. I didn't finish the routine the first time I did it but I can proudly say I can almost finish the routine now. :)

I also like the other videos targeting specific areas of the body like the glutes and the core. I really felt my muscles working and like the video above, each step in the exercise routine can be done according to the difficulty level you're comfortable with. I love that I don't need any equipment to do Dave's workout videos and that I can do it in the comfort of my own home.

Private Selection - Tres Leches Mason Jar Desserts Review #GotItFree

When I was invited to be on a campaign for BzzAgent's Private Selection Mason Jar Desserts, I was super excited to try it because first, I love desserts. Second, I really love desserts. :)

When I got to Ralph's, I was disappointed though that they only have 1 flavor available (I was opting for something chocolatey or their Tiramisu flavor) and the best by date was the day before. I asked the girl at the cake department if there were other flavors available or a newer one available but curtly told me that what I see there is what they've got. This is actually the first time I experienced a person that's a bit rude at Ralph's because they're actually always pleasant and nice so I was a bit surprised. I didn't make the girl's rudeness an issue so I just got the only available Private Selections Mason Jar in Tres Leches flavor.

So when I got home, I showed the Private Selection - Tres Leches Mason Jar Dessert to my daughters and they said they wanted to try it.

The Tres Leches Private Selections Mason Jar tasted good but it's a bit too sweet for me. My daughters liked it though. I love the mason jar because it's thick and reusable. The serving size is a bit big for me but is just right when I shared it with my daughters, although they ate most of it. :)

I wouldn't buy the Tres Leches flavor next time because as I've said, it's a bit too sweet for me. I would however try their Tiramisu mason jar dessert if I see it available at Ralph's the next time I go there. :)

Lambie & Me - Just Dots 2-Pack Swaddling Blankets Review + Giveaway 7/14 US

When my 1st daughter was born, she didn't liked being swaddled so I was always wondering what swaddling blankets are for. My wonder for swaddling blankets turned into a need when my 2nd daughter was born because she always wanted to be swaddled. The swaddling blankets I had back then were made of cotton and polyester and were not that stretchy so she always wiggles out of her swaddle.

The Lambie & Me Swaddle Blankets were made from 100% Muslin Cotton. It's pre-washed for super comfort but I still washed it before I let my daughters use it. It's soft when I got it out of the box but got softer after I washed it. I love that the swaddle blankets were thin and breathable. Here in SoCal, the temperature is already in the 90's during daytime and at night, the temperature drops only to the 60's so the thin and breathable material of the blankets are great.

The color of the blankets is great either for a girl or a boy. My daughters love the dotted design and the colors. I also like that these swaddle blankets can be used not only for swaddling but also as a cover for strollers, a nursing cover, a burp cloth, a travel blanket or a changing/play mat. The size is big (47 x 47 in. each) which is nice and it's a bit stretchable too so making a tight swaddle is easier.

With Dr. Carey's Baby Care: First Year Baby Care Guide Book, every common baby issue and problem listed which you might encounter has a photo included so it's easier to know if it's common, normal or if you have to bring your child to the doctor. I appreciate pictures more than reading descriptions so the pictures are a big plus for me. The yellow swaddling blanket included with the book is super soft. My daughters used them as blankets and they love the animal prints. :)
